Hannah silently cried in her room. She sat with her back against the headboard and pulled her legs up to her chest before burying her face to her knees as more tears fell.

'How can I be so stupid and let myself get dragged into this mess. I thought we were going to start over? I thought I was his one and only. I'm such an idiot'

She thought miserably as she lifted up her head from her knees.

"Maybe I can show him that I'm the one for him. Yeah and maybe I can show him that I know him better than anyone else. After all, we are best friends and we did had a one night of passion which was before I knew he was my long time friend. Okay, now I'm just rambling to myself"

She slightly giggled at herself as she wiped away her tears. After a few deep breaths, Hannah found the courage to get up and look herself over the mirror, smiling to herself.

"There's just no way I can blow this. I'll ask him out on a date and get more information about that girl Stella."

She said to herself before letting out a sigh before making her way towards the door, down the hall and down the stairs and was surprised to still see Stella there at the bar, drinking and talking to Husker. She couldn't help but overhear their conversation.

"Was he rough on you again?"

Husk asked.

"You have no idea"

Stella said before drowning her bottle of beer.

"So how long are you going to be staying here now?"

"I don't know, he haven't said anything but then again he haven't asked me to leave either. So I'm probably going to stick around until he gets bored of me"

She said not caring if anyone hears. The sound of someone clearing their throat caused Huskier and Stella to look over to Hannah who was standing by them.

"Sorry to interrupt your conversation but you were in a rush to greet me"

Hannah said with a kind smile.

"Oh right, your.... I'm sorry what was your name again?"

"Hannah, my name is Hannah"

"Right right, Hannah. Well please to meet you"

She said stretching her hand out to Hannah who confidently shook her hand.

"So, how do you know Alastor?"

She asked sitting next to her on a stool.

"Alastor and I go way back"

Stella answered before taking another drink.

"Are you guys friends? Or friends with benefits?"

She asked curiously causing Husk and Stella to look at each other before laughing out loud.

"Did I say something funny?"

Hannah asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Sorry it's not that, but Alastor and I are not that close to even being considered as friends, more like acquaintances"

"Acquaintances?"

"Yeah and why so curious? What's your story since you're all up in my business"

Stella asked placing her arm on the table and leaning her head on her hand.

"I'm Alastor's best friend"

"I find that hard to believe"

"It's true, when we were alive we were best friends"

"And then what happened?"

She asked causing Hannah to sadly look down.

"Let's just say we both thought differently and in the end we both did something that we regretted"

"How sad and pathetic"

"Excuse me?"

Hannah said lifting up her head to glare at Stella.

"Alastor may seem like a sweetheart to you but to me he's a monster and don't even try to convince me that he's not because you're not the one in my shoes. Okay sweetheart, Husk, give me another round. I want to drink until I can't feel no more"

Stella said raising her empty glass.

"How can you say that about him?"

"Because I can and it's my opinion girly. Now please don't be a killer to my joy"

She said. Hannah was about to respond when she saw Alastor walking by.

"I'll show you, just watch"

She said to Stella as she made her way to Alastor. Stella simply rolled her eyes as she turned her back towards the couple.

"Hey Al"

She said kindly to her best friend.

"Hello my dear, what can I do for you?"

He asked as placed his hands behind his back.

"Well I was hoping if tonight, if you're not busy, if we can maybe go on a date"

She said perking up her chest towards him. Alastor raised an eyebrow at the behavior but kept the smile on his face.

"Well of course my dear, where do you plan we go?"

He asked.

"We can have dinner with just the two of us alone"

"Sounds excellent my dear"

He said as he grabbed her hand in his and gave her a light kiss on the back of her hand.

"Great, I'm looking forward on spending time with you"

She said as she made her way to Stella who had her back to her.

"Call it what you want, but you're wrong about him"

She said linking her hand with Alastor who looked between Stella and Hannah.

'So they been talking'

He thought.

"Stella my dear, your presence won't be required tonight, since I will be out on a date"

Stella remained quiet and without looking back she simply rolled her eyes as the couple left together hand in hand.

'Good riddance. At least now, I can actually get some sleep'

She thought sarcastically.

**Date**

"What is this relationship that you have with Stella?"

Hannah asked sitting across from Alastor who put his fork and knife down.

"It's an alliance"

"An alliance? Like a partnership deal?"

She asked.

"I'm sensing a bit of jealousy my dear"

"How could I not? We made passionate love and the next thing I know you have another women up in your room"

She answered heatedly.

"What exactly do you want from me?"

He asked looking at her sternly with a smile.

"I want to be your one and only"

"And you are"

He said as he gently caress her face.

"But Stella..."

"Stella is nothing but an alliance. We made a deal and this is the end of the bargain"

"But you have me now"

"Stella stays my dear, because I am a man of my word and I don't go back on my deals"

He said sternly. Hannah sadly looked down, not knowing either to laugh or cry but swallowed her pride before speaking.

"Then tonight, let me show you that I'm the one for you"
