Chapter 5
The next day arrived and Ciel and Sebastian were waiting with (Y/N) since 8am for Farley to arrive at his own scheduled time of 9:30am. "When he arrives, we'll be taking him into custody for questioning and depending on the outcome we may be keeping him for further action." Sebastian informed (Y/N). Falsely distressed (Y/N) sighed, "I'll have to find someone to take over for him while he's gone then." She stated. Moving swiftly she walked passed Sebastian, her intoxicating scent drawing him in. "I'll be outside waiting for his arrival and reading up on the news letter." Ciel stated, walking away. Sebastian knew he shouldn't pursue (Y/N) about the case without at least informing Ciel but, after all he could keep everything under control for sure.
Quietly without her noticing Sebastian follwed (Y/N), watching her closely as she made arrangments for Farly to be dismissed. All the while noticing just how breathtaking she was. Taking in her figure, how she moved so elegantly, her (H/L) (H/C) hair that seemed to shine, not to mention her deep (E/Y) sultry eyes, seemingly to unintentionally seduce anyone who makes eye contact with her. How can someone be making him feel this type of way about them. Her playful almost flirty way of interacting with him made Sebastian all the more curious about her. The most troublesome part was her soul smelled so...sweet. It didn't make him feel quite the way he did about Ciel's or any other soul for that matter. It was like it was sitting right in the sweet spot where he didn't want to devour it, more like...savour it.
He watched as she began walking away, the time had just turned to 9am. Wondering what she was up to Sebastian continued to follow, deciding if he should ask her more about the case. Though he didn't know if he was just using that as an excuse to make conversation with her. He followed towards the manor and watched as she entered down the basement to the room he had seen her in the day before. Instead of watching he entered the room. "Lady (L/N)." He stated, drawing her attention to him abruptly as she had thought she was alone. "Oh, hello Sebastian, what's the issue?" She asked, looking him up and down. "I apologize, I couldn't seem to get your attention earlier," he lied, "I just wanted to follow up with you on the case as we sent the poison that was found last night to a specialist and it was determined that it was not the same as that of the toxin that was found on the clothing." (Y/N) face showed dissapointment. "What was he doing with that vial then, I wonder." She stated. "So then why is he still being brought in for questions?"
"Well, theres no telling if that was just a different one that was going to be used next or he may have even been framed, we're just narrowing down possiblilities." Sebastian replied. (Y/N) nodded her head in understanding. "In the case that he was framed," Sebastian began making his way towards (Y/N), "You wouldn't have any clue who would do something like that to a lowly warehouse attendant, would you?" (Y/N) had gotten flustered as he closed the proximity between them, (Y/N) practically against her lab table. "How would I know something like that? It all just seems like a wild goose chase of who wants revenge on who, to me." (Y/N) replied as Sebastian slowly crept even closer, reaching up to just barely graze her neck, (Y/N) squeezing her legs together and looked the opposite direction in embarrasment. Breathing in her scent and moving his fingers to her chin, Sebastian began to speak once more, "Then maybe we're not looking in the right places." He said in just a whisper, bringing his nose closer to her neck.
(Y/N)'s breathing was erratic, with one deep breath she slightly shoved Sebastian away from her and regained her composure. "What are you trying to do, this is unlike any interrogation I've heard of, what are you getting at?" She inquired brushing her hair out of her face and attempting to get rid of the redness on her face. "Just trying to get to the bottom of this Lady (L/N). What have you here?" Sebastian walked to the table looking at all the equipment on it, test tubes, a microscope, plates and more. "Just a hobby," (Y/N) replied. "I studied abroad in America for a time, before realizing my passion for design." She explained. Sebastian hummed in acknowledgement before turning away and taking out his pocket watch to look at the time.
"Farley's arrival is right about now we should be heading that way, shall we?" (Y/N) replied with a short, "Yes." Sebastian held the door as she stepped through and they headed towards the warehouse. They approached Ciel as he was speaking with Farley. "We'll be leaving now Sebastian." Ciel stated. Turning towards (Y/N), he bid her farewell. "We will update you on any further inquisitions." Ciel stated lastly as Sebastian bowed his head goodbye.

(Y/N) watched the three of them walk away and as soon as they were out of sight she made her way back to her basement study. "I need to watch my back more..." She muttered angrily at herself. She slammed her study door shut and rubbed the stress from her face. Walking toward a filing cabinet across the room with a sigh, she grabbed a framed photo sitting atop it. "Just remember, (Y/N)...whats your purpose for all this..." She whispered to herself, softly closing her eyes.
