Chapter 3
Sebastian made the turn into the pathway towards the (L/N) manor. It was a nice scene, the pathway lead with Chrysanthemum's and red Spider Lily's. He made to the front door of the manor and knocked. In the next moment the door opened to a girl with (h/c) hair, dressed causually though still looked like a part of an important household. Though for the butler, it was her (e/c) eyes that seemed to catch his attention first, seeming as they had stars in them. He didn't like the initial thought, but shook it off and focused on the next move he was going to make. "Hello, may I ask your name?" The girl asked, confusion and...panic? Striking her face for a moment. "Yes, I am Sebastian Michaelis, butler of the Phantomhive manor. I'm here to ask a few questions. I apologise for coming unannounced, but I am here for a serious matter." The girl nodded, her eyebrows furrowed, looking off to the side for a moment before opening the door for him to enter. Keeping her eyebrows furrowed her eyes met that of the butlers for a short moment, she seemed to keep her distance.
She closed the door and led him up a staircase and to a room traced with the colors of purple and silver. Once they were inside the girl dismissed herself and exited the room, closing the door behind her. 'She seems quite odd, a bit mysterious if I may add.' Sebastian thought to himself. Sebastian began taking in the room. He walked over to a small table, noticing a series of chemical compounds and noting (L/N)'s interest in scientific matters. He heard the door open and close once more, turning, he only saw the same girl. "I'd like to speak to (Y/N) (L/N), if it isn't of much trouble." He stated, finding it odd that she was the only presence he has noticed in the house other than a butler. "Sorry for not introducing myself earlier, but, 'tis I, the lady of the house, (Y/N) (L/N)." She smiled and laughed quietly and cooly. Sebastian noticed her change in attitude since she left and returned to the room, seeming more laid back and open. "I apologize for not asking earlier, may we sit and begin?" "Gladly." She quickly replied, stepping to a chair in the middle of the room crossing her legs and leaning back in the chair with a sly smile on her face, seemingly not worried at all.
"To begin, I'd like to ask, do you have any relation to a lady named Sylvia Hewitt?" (Y/N) seemed to be in thought for only a moment before shaking her head. "I don't belive I do. I don't get out much. It's difficult for me to develop any meaningful realtionships, given I'm only focusing on myself at the moment." Sebastian continued on, giving into making it more obvious he was asking about the murders happening recently, finding no other choice in order to get as much information as he could. "It's been found that in recent deaths, in all cases the victims have been found to have traces of some type of poison on their bodies, making it belived that these deaths are cases of murders. With such odd deaths the only lead found was that at the times of death all victims were wearing your designs. Do you have any idea as to why such a coincidence could occur?" Her eyes showed confusion though she smiled in amusement.
"That is quite odd. Maybe it's because my clothing is killer!" (Y/N) threw her head back in laughter, not taking the interrogation seriously. Sebastian raised his eyebrow. "Lady (L/N), it would be very helpful if you would take this seriously, or else we will never get through with this." He then tilted his head in slight interest, what could cause her to be so calm? Soon he noticed a tuxedo cat jump through the window from a tree outside and make it's way toward (Y/N). "Oh, Pierre! Can you believe this? The only serious thing about this to me is my publicity, dead people are no good for models." (Y/N) laughed once again, taking a sip of the tea she carried in prior and petting the cat that decided to join, making it's way towards Sebastian who was pleased with the action, picking him up. "I can certainly introduce you to someone who believes otherwise." Sebastian mumbled quietly. "Can we please continue?" He then stated more clearly. "Sure, why not? I don't seem to have anything better to do. I love a good mystery." (Y/N) replied, glancing at the small, feminine watch adorning her wrist.
"Continuing with my last question, do you know how the coincidence could have occurred?" Thinking about it seriously this time she finally answered. "I don't know, but maybe someone could be lacing my clothing with poison before they are shipped to the vendors." Sebastian thought about her answer, taking it into consideration. "Assuming that was true, do you know of anyone who may hold a grudge against you, who would want to frame you of something so horrendous?"
"I may or may not have cheated a few people for materials, but that doesn't seem like something to make them want to frame me for murder." (Y/N) replied. "Perhaps, you're falsifying the information you're telling me."
"Now I don't stand by a lot of things, but one thing I consistently find myself strongly standing by is never lying." She held her head high and smirked. Sebastian walked closer to her. "Or you're behind every move made by your team," he walked behind her chair discretely, trailing his hand on the back of it, holding Pierre with the other, "the puppeteer behind the scene's." He bent over and whispered in her ear, her eyebrows furrowed looking the opposite direction. "Am I wrong?" Shivers ran down her spine at his soothing voice before she stood up and turned to face him, the chair between them, crossing her arms. "Very wrong." She stated, glaring at him. Sebastian chuckled, amused by her reaction. "Well then, with this it seems you've given us another lead, would you mind us talking to your crew? Given you stated it could be someone lacing your clothing before it is shipped. Do you know who comes into contact with the material before it is shipped?"
She calmed herself before thinking. "I wouldn't know, I just make and design the clothes. Theres also a possibility that they could be tampered with before I get the materials though." "Well then, how would you not be affected?" Sebastian questioned. "Because I'm not wearing the clothing for a long period at a time, or at all and when I touch the fabric, the majority of the time I'm wearing gloves for when I sew." Sebastian nodded at the new possibilites. "Very well then, thank you for your time. I shall be on my way then, it was lovely chatting with you." Sebastian placed the cat down and walked closer to her. He grabbed her hand and placed a kiss to the back of it. "May you escourt me out?" He asked softly with a devilish smile and a wink. (Y/N) blushed and turned her head. "I accept." She said quietly and triumphantly. Sebastian held a smirk on his face as they exited the room, then the manor. They walked to the carriage he brought and he turned to her. "I will be looking forward to speaking with you again." (Y/N) nodded her head. "I as well." She stated. Sebastian turned and got onto the carriage to be on his way.

Sebastian thought to himself on his way back to Ciel. There is no way he could feel this way. He actually enjoyed his conversation with her and she entertained him in just the way she presented herself. Though he did know she had to have a part in the murders which didn't boad very well. Never could he be with someone who belived they could have that much power. Not to mention he didn't think he could be with anyone. A demon can't love...right? Though he couldn't stop thinking about the way she made him feel with just her beauty.
