Third person P. O. V

Two weeks were gone in the blink of an eye. The two weeks in which many things happened for the worst and the best.

The members learned that Jin has a habit of feeding others whatever he is eating.

Jin learned that members gets interested in anything that he does so he is always careful to not introduce them to anything too addicting.

Yoongi and Jungkook are fine cooks now.

The members learned that Jin likes dad jokes. Apparently, when hoseok was reading out dad jokes to everyone they all were silent except for Jin who was laughing his ass off but the most surprising thing was his laugh, everyone was shocked to hear his windshield laugh, they didn't expect serious, monotone Jin to laugh like that.

Jin was becoming more and more expressive but that doesn't mean he abandoned his expressionless face just yet. He just used it from time to time. His mask was finally breaking.

They also learned that Jin doesn't make eye contact with anyone for more than 3 seconds because then he winks at them.

They were finally recording their debut song- No More Dream.

The worst thing started with diet enforcement since The debut was near. Jimin especially was pressured because he had to flash his abs for their debut song. They were told to only eat boiled chicken breasts which made them lose focus due to hunger but also lose their appetite at the same time. They were mentally exhausted.

Everyone except Jin were following the diet. He was having a healthy meal daily to stay in top shape. No one could convince him otherwise.

One day the abusive manager approached Jin and called him fat, saying he looks like a pig.

"Don't you think you have gained weight, Jin-ah? you look so fat can you even call yourself an idol?"

"It's ok as long as my belly doesn't look like yours, hyung" Jin said to the fat man then went back to practice.

Snickers could be heard from both the boys and the other managers which enraged the man and picked on jungkook because he is the youngest

"You! how dare you laugh?! is this the manner your mother has taught you! to disrespect someone older than you?!!!" the manager shouted at Jungkook while raising his hand, Jungkook flinched.

But before he could even lay a finger on him Jin stopped his hand.

"What do you think you are doing?"

"Teaching you disrespectful kids some manners"

"Nobody told you to fat shame Jin, especially as a fellow fat man. Discriminating fat people when you are one of them is ridiculous and laughable" Sejin said.

"What the hell is your problem??!! I can fat shame anyone cus I'm fat"

Right then Bang came in and to say he was shocked was an understatement.

"What is this??what is going on????"

"He was going to hit Jungkook" Jin said as he dropped his hand and went to stand with the boys.

Bang looked towards the managers who nodded.

"You, in my office, right now" he went outside, the man glared at them one last time before following him outside.

Luckily, the manager was fired immediately because they had footage to sue him so he left quietly.

But another storm came up when Jin's parents arrived a few days later.

"What the hell do you think we send you here for?!" father screamed.

"Dear, please be easy on him.It was not his fault. It was not in his control"

"Oh please! I know him well. I'm pretty sure he sensed that he was dangerous but didn't take any action. You are becoming more and more laid back. Disgraceful!"

The boys stood around them awkwardly.

Jin just hung his head low during the entire conversation.

"I already warned you that if anything happens I will call you back immediately but look at you! You irresponsible man!Pack your bags right this moment!"

"Yes, father" Jin said causing everyone in the room to be shocked.

"Woah, woah stop right there, now wait a sec. No one is going anywhere" Yoongi said, making the father turn to look at him.

"What do you think this is, some sort of survival show? you couldn't fulfill our expectations so please leave this ain't your office, old man"

"Yoongi!"

"What hyung. You were the one who taught me that I should always be honest"

"This isn't the time-"

"What is your name young man"

"Min Yoongi and just so you know we ain't letting you take hyung without a fight"

"And what may be the reasons that should convince me that he should stay here?"

"Why should you be convinced when it's Jin hyung's future?"

The father was taken back. Realising that whatever Jin did in his life was to convince his father, to make him happy which burdened him, made him forget what is it even to be selfish.

"Do you want to become an idol, hyung?" Namjoon asked.

"......Dad.." Jin turned to his father.

Dad. A word that describes a man's role as a father but it was so foreign to the older man, hearing Jin call him that for the first time.

"I want to be an idol" Jin finally looked up in his father's eyes.

His father smiled brightly, a genuine smile that was for the first time directed towards Jin, and said, "ok" then hugged him tightly.

The action took Jin by surprise as he was never hugged by his father before. He gladly accepted him in his arms and smiled.

The mother was on the verge of tears at the scene, knowing the relationship between the father-son duo.

The others let out a sigh of relief then proceeded to drop the Kim couple to the car and watched them go.

"YAY!!!!" the boys let out the excitement they were consuming due to the emotional scene, making Jin chuckle.

"Come on. Lets head back home and rest so we can record the song tomorrow"

Everyone went back home with happiness in their hearts.
