How happy I was that morning!!

All the pranks worked in my favour and Hruday is pissed as I wanted him to be...

During lunch, I went to his cabin imagining how sulking his face would be!!

But all I saw is an evil smirk on his lips as soon as he caught sight of me!!

Oh god!!
I asked you one thing. One bloody thing. And you would not grant me that.

All I wanted to see was a irritation and a sulking look on his face. Is it too much to ask for?

Why is he sporting his evergreen smirk on his face?
Did he plan something for me?

But this soon?!!

Is he that desperate to take revenge on me?

I didn't let my inner doubts show on my face. The first thing we learn to do in a battle is dont show your real emotions on your face. So I put up a bright smile on my face.

He returned my smile with equal vigour and gestured me to sit in the seat opposite to him.

Even if he didn't ask me I would have sit there!

But the fact that Hruday is this chivalrous is ringing some major warning bells in my mind.

He definitely has something big up his sleeve.

I should be in high alert mode all the time to protect myself from his pranks.

"How's is the day Hruday? I think the awesome shower you had in the morning might have relieved your hangover in a jiffy?!"

I said trying to put a straight face while my lips are itching to smile widely and say 'hey that's my creativity by the way'!!

He looked at me smugly and replied -- "Yup! The shower went well. My only regret is that if you had accompanied me then it would have been helpful to remove the colour that adorned my skin beautifully !" He smirked in the last.

My cheeks Burned with his statement !!

Idiot, he knew what effect his words will have on me.

I composed myself and asked him about the car ride.

" Well, the car ride felt like I was in some musical concert. Not from the music system in the car but from the papers on the floor decorated by someone!" He looked in my eyes furiously.

For a second I felt intimidated by his glare. I think the time for my leave arrived.

I thought of excusing my self from there when Hruday came out of the seat and stood behind me.

He trapped me by placing his hands on the desk infront of me.

I sat rooted to my place without any movements.

"Not only that krithi but that person also placed a board on the backside of my car. And guess what, it was of tremendous use to me!!" He murmured softly in my ear.

"How come??" I stuttered.

"When dad asked me about it I told him the truth!" He replied shortly.

"Truth...what truth are you talking about?" My stuttering didn't subside.

"Simple! I told him about the dream and longing of 'that' person!"

I'm fed up with his short answers.

" I don't have any wishes?! What are you talking about?" I asked him totally confused.

He looked victoriously in my eyes.

Then the realisation came like a lightening that I admitted openly that I'm the person who planned all this!!

Ofcourse he would have guessed it long back!

But me admitting this easily is not expected from my side.

I remained calmly looking down whereas his looks are hitting me like pins.

"Yes! Your wish! Your longing! That you want us to go on a honeymoon!! And I must say dad is totally surprised to hear it, you know he didn't expect that you will pull such an act...." But my mind didn't listen further.

What!!!!
What did he just said!!!
He told dad like that!!!!

All these are the screams in my head. This is totally unfair.

How can he do that? What will dad think about me now?

I stood and turned towards him furiously. I started punching him in the chest with all the strength I have.

"Don't you have manners? How could you do this? You...You.."
It's difficult for me to find words to even cuss him. He has gone beyond that stage.

"Don't struggle that much. Do you think you are the only one to do these things? Even I should get a chance to prove myself as an equal to you!!"

With that he moved forward and stood close to me invading my personal space.

"Hmm...But I couldn't find out what you did to my phone as I lost my patience completely in the morning itself!! Do enlighten me what you did to it!!"

"No. I don't have mood right now. I will tell you once I feel like telling you!" With that I tried to slip away from him.

"No. Not that easily. You have to tell me now itself. Otherwise you know what I can do!" With that he cupped my cheek and gently pressed his thumb against my lower lip.

"Ok! Remove your hand. I will explain," I said supressing the shiver that ran through me with his touch.

He placed it for sometime there and gently retracted his hand.

I breathed out as relief spread through me.

"Actually I took a screenshot of the application tab on your phone and made it you home screen. That's it," I said shortly while Hruday looking at me confused.

I showed him the procedure and said -- " after that I removed the shortcuts from the home screen and tada you were not able to open any app," I looked at him proudly.

He looked at me as if analysing everything. I quickly restored his apps and wallpaper.

"You know, I am so kind. That's why I am showing mercy on you and repaired your phone. Enjoy!!!!"

With that I placed his phone on the table and quickly escaped from the place before he could stop me.

When I reached home in the evening Mom and dad sat in the hall talking leisurely.

When I wished them all I get was smirks from dad and sweet smiles from Mom.

I know they believed what Hruday told them. To escape from this embarrassment I immediately excused myself from them.

While climbing the stairs I can hear laughs from the hall.

Arghh...
Hruday!!!!!

That night I came to know that day after tomorrow is when we will be leaving for our so called honeymoon.

My beloved husband decided to take me to Andaman and Nicobar islands.

I wonder whether he has atleast a romantic bone in him. What was I expecting anyway!!

He justs wants to take revenge.

I started to hate that place even before my visit because of the situation he placed me in.

I don't know what I'm feeling about this but I 'want' and 'don't want' to be alone with him!

Oh man! This trip is proving to be very difficult.

On the next day, Mom is very excited about our journey and she asked me to shop as much as I want.

Not only that she bought some dresses for me especially to wear there.

I didn't look at them as I have very less time for packing because of the night duty I have to attend today.

She told me to just drop the duty and that she will manage it.

But I don't want everyone to think that mom is showing partiality towards me that too in such a trivial matter. So I softly declined her help.

Instead she offered to help pack my luggage. I didn't deny the offer from my sweet Mom.

I completed my night duty very tiredly and came to home in the morning to smell tasty breakfast.

I thought to freshen up and have my breakfast and then take a small nap as the flight is in the afternoon.

But I could only get the breakfast part done. I could not get a nap because of some last minute packing I had to do.

I wore some comfortable clothes for the journey. We will reach port Blair some time in the evening.

Now I'm trying to sleep in the flight but the monkey sitting beside me is not at all allowing me!

He is irritating my nose with my hair.Sometimes he would wake me up and ask me silly questions like -- what time is it?
what are you doing?
which shampoo do you use??

I don't know what he ate in lunch. But he is too damn energetic the whole day.

I want to punch him in the nose but I don't want to create a scene here.

I'm about to get engulfed in the sleep after warning Hruday not to behave like a monkey even though it is in his nature to act like that.

But Hruday once again managed to spoil my sleep. I finally gave up on my sleep and sat up straight.

When I looked at him he has a triumphant look on his face. I just huffed and looked out of my window.

After we came to the outside the airport there is a cab waiting for us.

I don't know how but I slept in this short journey to the hotel.

I managed to wake up only when Hruday pinched both of my cheeks and started cooing my name in my ear saying we arrived at the hotel.

I don't have any energy left to smack him right now. I also don't have energy to walk so I grabbed his arm to support myself and started walking beside him.

I like the feel of his arm. Or should I say biceps, very strong biceps. I placed my head against it and enjoyed the warmth.

I don't know when we entered the elevator. I completely missed the conversation at the reception.

Only the jiggling of the keys woke me up from my sleepy haze and as soon as the bed came into view I jumped on it and enjoyed the fluffy feeling.

I moaned deeply and soon I slipped into a deep sleep.

I felt something cold just beside my lips.From my experience, I can figure out that I'm drooling.

I opened my eyes and soon delicious smell hit my nose.

Food!! Heaven.....

I managed to balance myself on my elbows and looked around to find my heaven.

Hruday is sitting on the chair and eating some delicious smelling dish.

Suddenly a waterfall started to flow inside my mouth.

Hey, Don't blame me, I don't even remember when I last had my meal.

Well, maybe just a few hours ago... In flight maybe, but.....

Like a very obedient student, I tossed away the sheets covering me and got off the bed.

I sat on the opposite chair and waited for him to offer the food. Or atleast I waited for him to look at me.

He is behaving as if I don't exist in this room.

Is he that involved in eating? I mean he is not a foodie. That's my job.

Then why he is not looking at me?

I cleared my throat.
He responded by moaning eating his food.

The nerve of him to ignore me!!

I tried to take a piece of the fish. But he slapped my hand away.

"Don't touch my food!!" he said.

"What?" I asked rubbing the back of my hand.

Man!! It's stinging.

"Before our wedding you didn't inform me that you are deaf?!" he said.

"Excuse me?"

"You are excused. Now stop disturbing me, I'm enjoying my food!" he said.

What the hell?

"Hruday, I'm hungry" I said angrily.

"Then get your food, didn't your teacher tell you not to steal other's food?" He asked me still continuing his eating marathon.

"Didn't your teacher tell you to share food?" I asked crossing my hands.

"No!!" he smirked.

Stupid man!!

Does he think I will starve if he don't share his food? Then he's wrong.

Suddenly I heard my phone ringing. I got off the chair and searched for my mobile in bag.

I have many missed calls from both my parents and in laws.

I called them back and informed that we reached safely, which of course they got to know from Hruday.

All this while throwing daggers in Hruday's direction.

As soon as I ended the phone call, I didn't wait for another second and pulled the plate towards me with the spoon still in his hand.

He is looking at me shocked!!
Guess what?
He didn't expect this!

I smirked and grabbed the spoon from his hand and started eating hungrily.

While Hruday there still is shocked.His eyes are trained towards my mouth and trailed down further.

Why down?
It should be up!
To my eyes!!!

I also followed his gaze and saw that the upper two buttons of my shirt are undone and it is hanging low!

I immediately held it together with my left hand and continued eating without looking at him.

But when I looked he is staring at me intently.

Awkward!
Awkward!!
Awkward!!!

I should start a talk to ease the situation. .

"Why are you looking at me? Is there something on my face??" I checked my face with hand.

"Aah!! I know, beauty is smeared on my face. Isn't it? That's why you are unable to take off your eyes from me. But Hruday, you have to get used to it. You can't always stare at me like that, can you? It'll be awkward at times, even though we are wife and husband!!" I said, attitude dripping in my each word.

He leaned forward and said.

"Dear wifey, forget about beauty. Now its turn for this cream to cover your face!!"

Before I could comprehend his words, he spread the cream from the desert on my face.

What the hell?

"Now, Mrs. Krithika Aurora, you look breath taking!!" he said.

And the next moment he was not the Hruday Aurora I know.

Because the man before me is laughing with so much joy and happiness, as if there is no tomorrow.

To my surprise he even held his stomach with his hands, laughing.

But I won't let him mesmerise me with his charm, I'll do what I should do.

Simple, I threw the juice over him.

"What the.... Krithi!!!!" He roared.

"Throwback!!" I said.

And I don't know how it started but currently I'm hiding behind the bed and Hruday behind the table.

We are throwing pillows, clothes and small objects which are near to us.

Its like a war between two countries.

Eventually I was out of weapons and he is still armed.

"Looks like I'm the winner!!" Hruday said getting up.

"In your dreams!!" saying that I ran towards the bathroom but Hruday is fast as he got hold of me.

"This is not a dream krithi, I can prove that to you!!" saying that he bite my earlobe.

"Hruday...." I tried to scream but unfortunately it came as a loud moan.

This is called real embarrassment.

He turned me around and caged me in between his arms.

"Now, do you believe its real or should I bite more?" He asked smirking.

What should I answer?
If I say yes, he'll win.
I can't do that.

If I say no, I don't know what he'll do to make me say yes.

Try the latter krithi, it seems to be interesting. My subconscious said.

No, no and no.

"If you don't want to agree, clean the mess and I won't tease you. Or if you still think its a dream...." He leaned closer ".... I'm ready to clarify it!" he whispered huskily.

Our eyes locked and our faces are mere inches apart.

He slowly closed the distance and I closed my eyes, welcoming his lips over mine.

But our lips didn't meet.
Instead, he kissed my nose.

Or more like licked away the cream on my nose.

"You seem to still think that this is a dream?" He asked.

"No!!"

Cleaning everything is far better option.

"I'll clean!" I finally said.

"Good girl!!" he said and went to bathroom.

Here, I'm stuck with this mess and a cream on my face.

But the thing Hruday forgot is that we are staying in a hotel.

And there is room service to clean this mess here.

I first cleaned my face and called the room service.

After they left Hruday came out, well just with a towel around his torso.

Get a grip krithi!!

I told myself and went to have a shower. By the time I came out, Hruday is already sleeping.

I went towards the bed and was about to turn off the lamp, when I saw a cookie box on night stand.

Eat... was written on a tissue next to it.

As they say, one need not say in words that they care, their actions are enough.

I silently ate the cookies and slept.

I woke up when I felt my hand being lifted. I looked up to see Hruday placing a pillow below my hand.

I looked around and saw that there are pillows all around me.

"What are you doing hruday?" I asked sleepily.

"My mom used to keep pillows like this when I was a kid, to prevent me from falling!!" he said.

I got up immediately. "I'm not a kid!!" I said.

"Don't start your tantrums this early. Anyways I'm going to the beach. Get up when you are satisfied with your sleep and come!!" he said turning away.

That is when I actually saw that he is wearing shorts and T-shirt.

"Wait, I'll come in a few minutes!" I said in a pleading way.

"I have to see some beauties, I .... Mean...Beauty, natural beauty. You can come later. Byee!!" saying that he shut the door.

Did I hear correctly?
I don't have any ear problem. That I know.

Hruday seeing bikini beauties? Even though it sounded next to impossible, my blood boiled.

I sprinted up, went to bathroom and took a quick shower.

By shower I mean throwing water on my body.

I quickly went out and opened my bag.

Oh mom!! She packed dresses which are worn by most happy women in their honeymoon.

If I'm in any other situation, I would have blushed deep red but now I took it like a very better opportunity.

I wore a short which didn't even come to my mid thigh and a tight short top which is showing my belly button a little.

I wore a cardigan over it. Matched with a pair of sandals and black goggles. I put some sunscreen lotion on my body.

I have to divert my husband's attention towards me from those bikini beauties. Then I headed to the beach.

It literally took me half an hour to finally spot Hruday. He's talking with a blonde who's trying to cling to him.

Its so obvious. My anger reached its peak. So I stomped my way towards them and dragged Hruday away from that bitch!

She was shocked at first, then shouted but I didn't care.

When we reached out of that devil's sight, I stopped and crossed my hands.

"What the hell are you wearing krithi?" Hruday asked, pissed?

"What the hell are you doing with that blonde?" I asked him.

"I'm just talking about the places here, she's a guide!! Now answer my question!" he asked angrily.

"I'll wear whatever I like Hruday. Plus its common to wear such dresses. why are you making a big deal?" I told him.

"But it doesn't suit you. Did you look at yourself? What do you think of yourself? A model? Then let me clear you krithi, you. Are. Not. You look the worst in this dress. Don't try to fit in the place with your dress code which is not good for you. Just go and change right now, wear some jeans that will cover your legs completely!!!" he ordered me.

That hurt. Really hurt.
But I didnt let him know that.

"Why are you bossing me? I won't change!!" I said.

"You will change, otherwise I'll make you do it. Decision is yours!" he said determined.

Its useless to argue with him, so I turned away and started going to my room.

I'm not in a mood to come out today, even if he begs me.

I'm determined.
How dare he to comment my figure??

But it hurt me that he didn't find me beautiful in that dress as much as he liked other girls in even shorter dresses.

On my way back to the hotel I came across something which caught my eye.

I smirked when I understood what it is.

Brace yourself, Hruday.

Because you are going to get the biggest shock of your life.
