Yay, so I'm finally doing some actual information about how to request and all. If you aren't planning on requesting anything, then go ahead and skip/skim this chapter. (You already got an adorable puppy picture out of it)

General Rules:
Yes, I know rules aren't fun, but here we go anyway. Most of these are just general courtesy, and some are things you should know. Don't be scared off by the fact this is long, I'm just trying to cover everything so nobody will be annoying.
1. Please do not request anywhere else if you request a graphic from me. If you absolutely can't deal with me after you've requested, notify me, don't just be all "Oh, about that graphic... I don't want it anymore," when I finish it. Now, I understand that you may not like the finished product all that much, so if you wish to go find somewhere else after you have received your graphic and completed payment, then go ahead. I won't force you to use it if you don't like it. (See the payment bit if you need details, even though it's sad :( )Just don't request and never show up again.
2. Watermarks (those things that say graphic made by so and so): I really dislike watermarks. In my opinion, it takes away from the graphic. Because of this, I will not watermark my graphics unless I am having problems with improper credit. (Payment will be detailed later, and it includes credit) So be a dear, and make sure that my name is with my work.
3. Requesting: To request, make sure you get all the info I say I need below for the type of graphic you want and PM it to me. If you want to say in the comments "I would like a cover for my book Whatnot," that's great, but please still private message me because it is much easier to find.
4. How specific: This little clause thing is here to let you know that I would prefer not to be given a specific picture or something I must use. By prefer I mean you can do it, but I may not honor that part of the request. Reason being, I may just not be able to work with certain pictures. They may not have enough negative space for my liking or some other artistic thing that makes me sound like I know what I'm doing. So you can send pictures with your request, but they will be treated more as favored requests than requirements. (Sorry if that seems rude, but I've tried it in the past, and I was just not happy with the results.)
5. Payment: The one you've been waiting for. So I'm not going to say "follow me or no graphic," because if you wanted to be following me, you would be. It's hard enough to navigate your newsfeed. Instead, I'm, well, pretty cheap. I'm only going to say do these things.
i) Vote on the chapter your graphic appears in
ii) Comment on the chapter your graphic appears in (this should be easy, say if you like it and are going to use it)
iii) Vote or comment at least once on any other chapter of this book (if you've done this before requesting or while waiting I will still count it)
iiii) Put some form of "graphic by -ariarose-" on the (for story cover) bottom of the description or (for banner/icon) anywhere on your profile or wherever it appears (if it's on a chapter, put it in some kind of authors note)
That's it! If you decide you don't want a graphic anymore or aren't going to use it, please still complete the payment. If it was something for your profile and you are no longer using it, notify me so I can put it up for reuse. If it is a story cover and you are no longer using it, I can provide you with a link to still attach it to one of your chapters, because it's cool when you just have spare covers hanging out as attachments on your chapters. If you want to do more, like bake me a digital cake for example, it is beyond your requirements, and still very much appreciated.

What to put in requests:
Book covers:
Book title
Book subtitle(if applicable, can also be series)
Possible cover quotes (optional)
Author name (if you want something other than your username make sure you say)
Description of book (preferably not just "Bob had an adventure" or something dumb)
Cover ideas (if there's something symbolic in the story that you think would make a cool cover for example)
Mood
Color scheme (optional and I will try to follow it)
Descriptions of any characters who could appear on the cover (ex: MC is a girl with long blonde hair)
Anything else I'm forgetting...?

Icons: (for profile)
Username (might be a bit obvious)
Nicknames (if applicable, just for ideas' sake)
Ideas (types of pictures, possibly style)
Anything else you think is important

Banners and other graphics: (me covering my bases, but for profiles and possibly chapter quotes)
Quotes
Picture ideas
Color schemes (optional)
Mood (optional)
Again, and any other pertinent info

So, yeah. That's hopefully it. Now that you've listened to/read me laying down the law for what I would like of requests, request away! Or don't... that's fine too. If there's anything you think I missed and have questions about, just stop by the comments section and ask away.
