Daisy's POV

"Mia, I haven't-a seen you in a very long-a time!" Momma Mario exclaimed.

"I haven't seen you since graduation!" Mrs. Lin said as she gave Momma Mario a hug.

"Wait, so you knew each other?" Peach asked the question which was answer was pretty obvious.

"Yes, Silly Peach! I have known-a Mia here since High School." Momma Mario said, smiling.

"But we didn't keep in touch very well..." Mrs. Lin with a little laugh.

"Well, what-a are we waitin' for? Let's get this bake sale goin'!" Momma Mario said, and we all got inside to set up our booth.

We had it all decorated inside the Chinese restaurant, we needed to take it outside.

As the day went by, there was many people coming up and purchasing a freshly baked item.

After a little over 2 hours of selling, we didn't see much customers...

"Ugh! Are we going to be done soon?!" Peach whined as a sat at the table, no passersby in sight.

"Don't worry, Peach! It seems like its very slow, but it will pick up, I just know it!" I said as cheerfully as possible.

"I hope so..."

Then we saw our favorite taxi driver, Eddie.

"Hey Ladies! How is the bake sale going? Am I too late?"

"Not at all. Step right up!" I said as he got out of his taxi and came over to the table.

"Also, Eddie, did I forget to pay you for the ride? I am so-"

"It's alright, Dais. Free of charge, I cart around people everyday and make decent pay." Eddie explained.

"Now, do you by any chance have a cake? I thought that would be the best baked good to bring home with me."

"Yeah, Peach's cake! She has been waiting for that right person to get it."

"Wow, so I did show up at a great time." Eddie said and lightly laughed as he took out his wallet.

"Free of charge, Eddie." Peach said and Eddie smiled.

"Are you sure? I could pay for it."

"We insist, you brought us here without pay. So here is our way to say thank you." I chimed in, Peach and I nodding.

"Thanks,Girls." Eddie tipped his hat and left.

"So, now since our sale is over, we may as well give you your gifts in advance." Mrs. Lin said as she reached in the cash box.

"Here you are girls, you two have a wedding soon." She said and gave us the money.

"Really? Thank you so much!" Both Peach and I bowed to Mrs. Lin.

"You two are welcome."

We both got $100. Sweet!
