After Infinite had killed Bowser, the city had to be cleaned to prevent disease spreading. Everyone was told to stay inside until told otherwise. You, Callie and Marie all stayed inside for the day. You all sat down on the couch, and started watching TV. You read a book though, since nothing you liked was on. Marie was leaning and hugging you. It was getting a little hard to breathe since she was hugging you so tightly. You just keep reading, and try to ignore it. Marie eventually loosens her grip, you look over, and see that she fell asleep. Callie gets up.

Callie: *whispering* I'm gonna go to bed now.

(Y/N): Okay, I'm gonna stay here so Marie doesn't wake up.

Callie: Alrighty. Goodnight.

(Y/N): Goodnight.

You yawned and gave Marie a kiss, then fell asleep.

You woke up the next morning, Marie still lying on your shoulder. Callie was sitting on the couch, responding to fanmail on her phone and eating some breakfast. You try to get up, but you feel Marie's arms tighten around you. You just sit there and think about stuff.

(Y/N): Hey Callie, have they finished cleaning yet?

Callie: AH! You're awake?

(Y/N): Yes.

Callie: Don't do that again! You scared me... And no, they aren't done. A couple buildings are still caked in that stuff. Look out the window, you'll see.

You look out the window, and see hazmat teams cleaning up Inkopolis.

Marie had wrapped her arms around your stomach, and was pulling you back to the couch. And like that, you were back on the couch. You decided to fall back to sleep.
