So, I headcanon Mapleshade's death at the end of the novella to have been a near-death experience because, in my opinion, there isn't much to explore because of the two-dimensional way the characters seem to be written. So, I made this fanfic based on my headcanon for what happened after her brush with death.

Also to be noted: I headcanon that Seedpelt (MV) and the cat of the same name from Pinestar's Choice are the same cat, but I am using the description from Pinestar's Choice so it is more genetically accurate
