Nandini came out of her room n made her way to kitchen ...

After half n hour struggle she made gajar kha halwa ...

N - "yummmmm ...nandu kya kushbu hai ...monster let me see how u will resist this ??"...said with a smirk ....

She took some in a glass bowl, covered it with a plate and went to maniks room ...
She knocked the door but there was no response ...she peeped in to see what manik was doing ...
But she didnt find manik on the bed ...she slightly pushed the door n went in ..she searched around moving her head 360° ...n lately she saw manik in the balcony working on the laptop ...

N - " huhh !!...adhi raat mai kon kaam kartha hai ayyaippa ...he is soo boring"....said to herself ...

She went near him ...

N - " kya mai undher aa sakthi hu"....screamed a bit scaring the shit out of manik ...

Manik was soo engrossed in his work but was shook to the core listening to nandinis scream...

M - " jeez nandini ...(said as he was scared n saw her smiling sheepishly).....aab aur kitna undher auuogi haa "...said in sarcasm ...

N - " arrey meri galthi nahi hai..i knocked but u didnt respond..."...before she could complete manik spoke...

M - " isliye tum undher aa gayi "....said in cold tone...

N - " yeshhh "....saying this she sat next to manik on floor keeping the glass bowl to the side n kept the laptop at  maniks other side which was on maniks lap n took the pillow which was below the laptop n kept it leaning to the glass door which was behind her n sat comfortably ..

M - " what the ...kya kar rahi ho nandini "....said in annoyance as nandini did the above job ...

N - " kya support ke liye pillow liye ...isme itna chidd kyu rahe ho "...said shrugging her shoulder ...

Manik rolled his eyes ...

M - "tume kuch bolna bekar hai"...said in annoyance ...

N- " WOW !!...happy realisation manik "....said making faces...

M -" tum yaha kya kar rahi ho "....said ignoring her taunt ...

N - " ayyyyoo ...tum se baate karthe karthe mai tho bhul hii gayii ...wait "....saying this she took the bowl from her side n kept it on her lap n removed the lid....

Manik looked at her n that bowl in confusion

N -  "ummmmmmmmmm....." ...said inhaling the odour of the dish keeping it near her face...

Even Manik could smell the odour but didnt show it on his face ...

N -" manik dekho naa i made gajar kha halwa ...my favourite ..kitna aachi kushboo aa rahi hai ..chalo kathe hai "...said in excitement ...

M -" no thanks tum kao ...i dont want...aur itne raat kon kathe hai ".....said turning his face...

N - "arrey mai kathi hu".... 

M - " accha thi continue i dont want"....

N - " u took the tablet ???"....said trying to look at his face...

Manik turned towards her ...

M - " ammmm amm...no..now i will take them"....said looking at his lap ...

Manik didnt take his tablet ...umm y didnt he take them ..did something stop him from taking ...ohh yes ...obviously our nandu ...her words were soo sharp that it directly hit the mid point of his heart which wanted to be healed ...soo may be that was stopping him

Nandini knew if she will force him either he will shout or get up from there soo she played the other way ...

N - " oki "...said simply...

She took the halwa between her fore finger n thumb ..n kept it in her mouth making a pout ...

N - " sssssssssss......itz damn tasty"......said taking her fingers out ...

Manik was starring at her face ..the way she pouted ..the way she took the halwa inside her mouth ...he was mesmerized ...

Nandini looked at manik from the corner of her eye.....his eyes were on her face only ...
She took some more n again did the same thing ...

Manik was getting more n more tempted ...he soo wanted to taste. After such a long time he wanted to taste the food n relish its taste ...was the food that was attracting him to taste it or the way nandini ate the food ....umm i think the second one ...

Nandini ate two three bites ...manik not even blinked his eyes from her face ...

Nandini took the last morsel of halwa within her fingers soo that she can eat it ...but was stopped in the midway by maniks hand ...

Manik was looking into her eyes soo was nandini ...both were drowning into each others Eyes ..

Manik slowly took her hand near his lips n sucked her finger taking the halwa inside his mouth ...nandini shivered slightly at his move but didnt break the eye contact ...

Bahut kuch bathein aur sawal kar rahe the unke aankien jinke jawab unne kudh nahi patha tha ...sayad ek din dono ko ek dusronke sawal ke jawab mil jayee ....

Manik spoke keeping her hand back on her lap ...

M - " till now i never knew food can be this tasty too"....said looking at her eyes making her shiver with the intensity in the voice ...her cheeks turned red....

Nandini came out of her thoughts n started looking here n there soo was manik....

Nandini kept the bowl aside n said ....

N - " umm raat kafi hogayi hai ..i think i should go "....said looking down...

M - " neendh aa rahi hai ???"....asked looking at her ...

N - " ummm nahi "....said facing him...

M - " tho thodi dheer aur rukh jao "....said looking at the front ...

Nandini was shocked ..
Suddenly nandini pinched manik ...

M - " ahhhhh nandini kya ...kar kya rahi ho ".....said rubbing his hands ....

N - " tum saach mai manik hii hoo naa ???"...asked in confusion ..

M - " and the old nandini is back"....murmered to himself ...

N - " kuch kaha tumne "...said narrowing her eyes ...

M - " nahi ...mai kya keh saktha hu"....said rolling his eyes ...

N - " umm tho chalo...im getting bored kuch kelthe hai "...said excitedly ....

M - " what !!!...mai kya tume chota bachha diikraha hu  ...."....said in annoyance....

N - " constitution mai likha hai kya ki sirf chote bacche khel sakthe hai"....said keeping her hands on her waist ....

M -" constitution ...like seriously nandini ".....said looking at her in disbelief ...

Nandini was about to shout back but suddenly two or three dogs started barking n howling ....which scared nandini to the core ....

N - " ahhh mommmmyyyyy !!!!"....she screamed n hugged maniks arms sideways ....

Listening to this manik burst out laughing ....

M- " mommmy ...hahahaha....nandini tum..tum kis mitti se banne hoo ..god !!...ur soo damn funny "....the way nandini screamed mommy made manik laugh like hell ...

N - " arghhh manik ....yaha mai dari hui hu aur tum hass rahi hoo ...ur such a sadist "...said still holding his arms making sad pout ....

M - " hawww ...nandini murthy ko daar bhi lagtha hai ...now its new "...said in sarcasm ...

N -" ha ha ha ...very funny "...said making faces...

Again dogs started barking n howling in a weird way making nandini shiver ....sensing this manik kept his hands on her hand which was around his arms ...

M - " heyy....ssshh !!! Calm down dogs are just barking ..isme itni darneki baat nahi hai "...said in calm n concern tone ...

Nandini was surprised at manik for first but soon dogs occupied her mind 😂😂😂😂

N - "manik tume patha nahi hai kya ....agar dogs aiise bark karenge tho it means ...there are ghosts roaming over here "....said still hiding in his arms  ....

M -" What !!!...nandini this is ridiculous ...aiisa kuch nahi hai "....said to her ...

N - " hahh manik aiisa hii hai ..meri granny mujhe bathathithi"....said still hiding ...

M - " nan...."....he wanted to make her feel okay ...but something striked his mind n he smirked ...

M -" accha nandini ...tume dad mom ya mukti ne bathaya hai kya "....said bending n looking at her ...

Listening to this nandini moved her head up ...sensing their proximity nandini left maniks arms n sat back ...now the dogs also didnt bark ....

N -"kya "...asked in confusion ...

M - " wo kya hai  ...yeh jo malhotra mansion hai naa ..iss place ko dad karidhnese pehle ..tume patha hai iss place mai kya tha ???"....asked moving his face close to her ...

N - "kya tha ???"...said in confusion ...

M - " shamshan gaat ".....said in husky voice ..as his face was few inches away from her ....all the blow nandini had in her was pusssss!!...

Nandini gulped ....."ye..yeh tum kya kehrahe ho"....said with lots of difficulty moving her eye balls around scared...

Manik was enjoying her expression ....n smirked but soon hid it from her ...

M - " yess there was burial ground here before"...said in scariest voice ....making nandini go weak on her knees ...

N - " sa..sachhiii "....said as her forehead was covered with sweat ....

M - " muchi nandini ...isliye dogs were barking like that ".....manik made sure that he was sounding real.....

Nandini already started chanting gods name n hanuman chaliiss ...

Manik was controlling his laugh like hell ...

M - " haa(sighed) nandini ..im sleepy jao tumbhi jake soo jao"....said getting up....he knew she wont be able to sleep alone ..atleast not after this ..

N - " what!!!..( with horrified expresiion)....manik mu..mujhe neendh nahi aa rahi hai ..chalo naa kuch aur baate karthe hai "...said still sitting ...

M - "nah !!..chalo jaldhi kal meri ek important meeting hai...n itz already 2 now ...now go to ur room"....said hiding his smile...

Nandini was fidgeting with her fingers

N - " huh !!....yea oo..okay ...bye gn "....said in nervousness...

M - " bye nandini good night ...have a sweeeeettt dream "....said with a smirk n stressing on sweet dream ....

Nandini moved out of his room....n went inside her room reciting all the gods name which came to her mind ....as she wanted more gods with her ayyiappa to fight the spirits....

As soon as nandini went out manik fell on his bed laughing holding his stomach ....n started thinking how much crazy nandini is n slowly drifted into sleep with a smile playing on his lips ..itz been a long time since this scene was seen..by the almighty ...

Here nandini went n sat on her bed ...but all the bad things n ghosts dream was running in her mind ...the thought that the mansion was built on a burial ground scared the shit out of her ..time to time she was looking to her right or to her left ...a small sound from a mosquito made her shiver ....as she couldnt take it more she barged out n went straight into muktis room....

In muktis room ...
Mukti was sleeping dreaming about abhi n her honeymoon ...but nandinis knock disturbed her dream ..she woke up with a grumpy face ...

Mu - "khon hai "...said n went to open the door ....

As soon as she opened the door nandini pushed her n entered inside ...

Mu - "nandu kya yar....thodi dher baad nahi aa sakthithi kya ...kitna aacha sapnatha ..kya kya nahi kar rahi the hum dono"...said in annoyance ....n in sleepy tone ...

N -" yaha meri neendh uudi hai ..aur tujhe sona hai kya "...said still scared n asked her in anger ...

Mu - " accha baatha kya hua "....said as nandini sat on the bed ...

N - " mai aaj yaha tumare room mai sone wali hu "....said in slept on her bed ...

Mu - " oki ...but achanak se kya hogaya tujhe"....said scratching her head...

N - " tujhe dogs ke barks sunayii nahi de rahe hai kya "...said in scared tone....

Mu - "ohh god !!...dont tell me ur scared "...said sleeping beside her ...

N - " no no ...im..im not scared ...itz just that ...tujhe bahut miss kar rahi thii soo agayii"...said trying to act normal....

Mu - " haa haa ...diik raha hai "...said rolling her eyes ...

Mu - " accha aab soja ..aur mujhe bhi sone de "....said in turned to other side ...

N - "haa haa good night "...said pulling the bedsheet till her neck...

Mu - "gn"...said in sleepy tone n drifted to sleep....

Again n again dogs bark was roaming in nandinis mind ...nandini was getting more n more restless...

Nandini poked mukti ...

N - "mukti"....said poking her ...

No response ...

N - "mukti".....said again poking her ...

Mu - " haa "...said in a bit irritated n sleepy tone ...

N - " so rahi hai kya "....said turning towards muktis side ...

Mu - " nahi swimming kar rahi hu....join karegi kya "....said in sarcasm in sleepy tone...

N -" arrey maine tho bas puchha"...said making a pout ...

Mu - " sojja yar "...saying this she drifted to sleep....

Nandini was chanting all the mantras she knew ...
N - " ayyaippa ..please stop these sounds naa"...said praying to her ayyaippa....

But again she heard some sound ...
Nandini again got restless n started poking mukti ....but mukti was  in deep sleep ...n nandini thinking about ghost kept on poking her in subconscious mind ...

Receiving continuous pokes mukti woke up ...

Mu - "nandu meri maa...sone dhe mujhe ...kal meri projects hai ..sight seeing ke liye bhi jana hai ..meherban kar mujhpar aur soja chup chap ...kuch nahi hoga "...said turning towards nandinis side n said joining her hands together....n slept back ....

N- "oki "...said in meek voice...as didnt want to bring the monster out of mukti...

After a struggle of half n hour nandu slept ....

In the morning ...
Nandini woke up n saw mukti standing near the mirror n wearing combing her hairs ..

N - "good morning mukti "...said with a smile ...

Mu - "good morning "...said with a smile...

Suddenly all the things of  ni8 flashed to nandini ...

N - "umm mukti ..kya iss mansion banane se pehle yaha burial ground tha  "....asked mukti ...

Mu - " what !!..yeh kya bol rahe ho ...aiisa kuch nahi hai ...yaha dadaji kha khet(land) tha ..aur iske baad dad ne yaha mansion build kiya "....said calmly ....

N - " mukti are u sure "...said narrowing her eyes ....

Mu - " arrey ofcourse i am....nahi tho dad ya mom se hii puchlo"...said n walked to her cupboard to get her things

Sooo yeh saab uss monster ka kiya dara hai .....tch tch ...manik u messed with the wrong person ....dady im sorry but this time i cant hold back ....n Mr. Manik Malhotra ....aap ko tho mai nahi chodungi ...just wait n watch( said with a smirk)....
