I shot my head up. "What??"
Greg was right there, ready for school. I grabbed him by the collar in distress. "Where did you go you little brat?!" "Wha? I don't know what you're talking about!" He said back. "Don't lie to me!" "IM NOT!" He exclaimed. "Then why was the window open??" I asked. "I wanted fresh air, so i opened it. Didn't you see me sleeping on the floor?"
I don't remember that at all. "No... i didnt.." I let go of him. Did I even check the floor? Did I seriously went outside for nothing? "Did you really go out there?" He snickered. "Shut up." I said walking out.
So apparently I'm a dumbass and he was in the room the entire time. Maybe he's lying, but at this point I don't care. Greg is here, and that's all I care about. Breakfast wasn't much different: Greg talked the whole time.
Mom didn't seem too happy this morning. I hope she is alright. Regardless, I need to get to school. Me and Greg got ready, and headed out the door. "Another day," Greg said. I nodded. "It seems like it's been a while since we had our first day," I said back. Greg laughed. "Are you saying you hate school?" "Nono, that's not it," I said back chuckling.
"So.. how did you get away from Terrence?" He asked me. "... a new friend helped me," i answered back. Greg nodded. "Already a friend? You're on fire baby!" He exclaimed. "Thanks.." I said back. "I don't need that much excitement though." He looked at me. "Why not? Isn't that what siblings do? Support each other?" He said. I looked at him. Now that I think about it.. that is what they do. Maybe Greg isn't the best brother, but it doesn't mean I have to push him around. Same goes for him, but his excuse is he's beginning his... teenage thing. I smiled. "Yeah.. exactly." I said.
We made it to the school, and Lira was there waiting for me. Second day of school, seems like it's been forever since the first day. Today was different. We have a system of Monday is all days, Tuesday and Thursday is Odd, and Wednesday and Friday is even days. after this week, each day it transitions from odd to even, but not a day with all classes. Quite strange, but hey at least we get all on the first day, it's pretty handy.
Me and Lira had the same class in two odd and even classes. Im shocked I didn't even notice her yesterday.. guess my mind was on different things. Greg obviously had no classes with me. He's a freshman what do you expect? Only things we have together is break and lunch.
My first class was science, a class I was ok in. But this is no ordinary science, this is AP Chemistry: all the fun calculations and crap. Greg wouldn't last a second in here. Me and Lira had this class together.
The teacher was very nice, but I have a feeling that will change.
After class, I saw Terrence in the hall, and he actually greeted me nicely. "I'm sorry for before.. I'm gonna change i promise," he said to me. This coming from Terrence? What the hell did i miss? I accepted his apology and kept walking to my next class: History. Now lets get something straight, this isn't your US, Australia, wherever the hell you come from history. This is the history of our country/land, Pariar. Yes weird name i know, but what else isn't weird am I right?
Again i had Lira, but thats all the classes i have with her today. We learned about our Kingdom and what were the first buildings around, nothing too special. After this class its recess time! "woo!" we both ran to the break area.
