Greg I'm going to kill you when I find you... well actually, mom would if she knew we were outside... at almost midnight.... heh... all or nothing I guess. I kept running, searching for a trace for Greg. So far only the dark neighborhood which I knew so well....

Mom had many friends, and I'm surprised I never heard anything about my dad. What ever happened to him? We have a family photo in our house.. but.. its mostly faded. I would mostly assume he died somehow. Maybe they don't talk about him.. I could understand that. You usually move on with that kind of situation, but I really want to know.
Maybe he's evil? ... no that cant be right, I'm not evil... but... is greg?

After that thought I stopped. Mom never talked about our father.. it seems to fit together... no.. that cannot be true. Stop it Maggie, you aren't making anything better.

I continued walking around the neighborhood. Still no Greg in sight. I would call for him, but its almost midnight. I don't need any more trouble than I might already get.
"Hey," i heard a voice. I looked at who said that. Its... that girl. "Its me! Lira! What are you doing out this late?" She asked. "M-my brother... he ran out... im looking for him.." i said back. "Oh.. I can help!" She said. I thanked her and we started walking. It seems like it's been a long time since I went to school...
We kept searching for what seemed to be forever. "Hey have you heard of the rumor going around?" She said. Rumor? "Rumor?" I said back. "Yeah! There's a rumor going around about this spirit.. they said it comes out in the middle of the night... some people say they saw it.. but most don't believe them."
"Do you believe it?" I asked. "Of course! Ive seen many!" She said. "What else is there about this spirit?" I asked
Lira thought for a moment. "The ones who saw him say he groans... some say it sounds like the name Asriel.."
"Who is Asriel?" I asked.
"Asriel? You don't know? This should be in history soon. Asriel was a strong threat long ago... he caused the once known unity kingdom to separate.. hence why there are now three kingdoms.."
"Wow.. i never knew we were all one kingdom.." I. said in shock. "Thats what I said!" She said back. "Um.. I'm sorry but i should get home now" I said. "What about your brother?" She asked in concern. "If i know Greg, he will come back.. plus I'm tired as hell!" She laughs. "Alright sleepyhead. Cya tomorrow!" She walks off.
I walked back home, and climbed back through the window. Greg didn't return.. great. I hope he's ok.. but... I'm too tired. I laid on my bed. I slowly drifted to sleep.....
