I sighed and without saying anything I carried her on my back. She let out a yelp but nothing else came out of her mouth.

I continued walking down the familiar path. There were no words exchanged between us, and the tension was so thick.

I wish I could just cut it with a knife. And the next second, something out of the ordinary happened.

“I’m sorry” She whispered.
   
I shook my head, wondering if actually heard that right. I cleared my throat, “Excuse me? What did you say?”

I turned my head to see her face and it was now nestled on my back and her breath tickled my neck.

She sighed, “I said I was sorry. Don’t make me repeat myself again”

I smiled to myself, there was the Celena I wanted to know. The girl beneath the warrior. I turned my head back to the path, I could finally see the cave we were -I mean, I was- walking to.

“It’s cool. I don’t even mind” Came my response.

I guess even under all that rock hard exterior, She still had feelings.

And I was determined to break that exterior.
