And that was how I got slapped by Celena.

And here I was still laying on my side. We had agreed –after 3 hours of arguing, mind you – to share the same bed.

We slept at the edge while the middle was covered with pillows so that we don’t, I quote “Get close to each other”

I turned and looked at her sleeping face. It looked so peaceful, and innocent.  It was opposite to the face she wore everyday. And I loved seeing her like this, looking so calm. I smiled and leaned in to brush the hair out of her hair but stopped myself halfway. What was I doing? This isn’t like me.

I shook my head and looked towards the window, the sun was starting to show its rays. I hopped off my bed and did my normal routine, then I took off toward the woods to collect some wood.

It was times like these I always loved the world, where everything was still slowly awaking. I took a deep breath and searched for fruits.

It was about 30 minutes later that I finished, my hands were filled with wood and fruits. I started walking back towards the cave and on my way I saw Celena, I was about to greet her. But she was busy.

Doing what you ask? She was playing, and feeding a family of foxes. I smiled at the sight, I wish I could see this side of her more.

I shook my head and rushed towards the cave without Celena hearing, I needed to be quick. The sun was starting to go up. I ran as fast as I could but half way I stopped myself.

“I really need to exercise more” I panted

Once I reached the cave, I put the items in their designated places. I focused, on the sun, its warmth, and their rays. And just like that I was gone.
