"Emma , your gonna be late for your first day of school" I heard Catherine yelled
I sighed and got out of bed "Okay !" I yelled back. I put on my favorite white pants on and I just picked a light pink sweater and Brown riding boots and my hair was wavy and I grabbed my bag and went down stairs and I heard Catherine talking to someone ."Yes, Emma and Lauren are going to the same high school " Catherine said, I walked downstairs and Catherine noticed  me ."Oh honey, this is Mrs. Cruz " she told me
"Hi " I smiled ."Oh my goodness, Cath , she's beautiful" Mrs. Cruz said.I smiled softly "Thank you ... Who's Regina ?" I asked ."Oh she's my daughter " Mrs. Cruz told me ."Oh, I would love to meet her," I said. "And you will , she's gonna show you around school, oh and my dear call me Alice " I smiled . "Okay thank you Alice .. Well I'm gonna get going I don't wanna be late " I told everyone ."Wait what about breakfast?" Catherine asked me . "I'm not hungry " I gently kissed Catherine's cheek then walked to my yellow vw and drive off.

I pull up into the parking lot of  California East high school. My first day at a new school ... It's March middle of the semester. Great. I walked in and walked to the lady at the front desk . "Hi welcome to CEHS how may I help you."  She said smiling at me. "Hi I'm Emma Summers and I'm new an-"
"Oh yes, you're Catherine and Henry's daughter" she said cutting me off  "well they already registered you and all you need is your class schedule, I'll be right back" she said getting up and leaving the room. "You know in a small town like this , word gets around " I heard a voice say. I looked up from my phone and I saw the most beautiful girl that has brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. "Yeah i figured" I laughed softly. "Regina Cruz " she said holding her hand out ."Emma Summers, you must be  Alice's daughter " I said shaking her hand.
She laughed "yes I am , you know my mom told me I would be showing a girl around not an amazing super model "
I blushed. "Thank you , that's sweet but uhm.. No I'm not a model I'm just a regular teen." "Alright, here's you're schedule" the lady said ."Thank you" I smiled taking it from her ."Regina , you would you please show Ms.Summers to her classes please ."
The lady said. "I would love to " Regina said grabbing her bag and walk towards me. Regina took my schedule and looked at it. "How on earth do you have 3 off periods?" She asked me ."Oh I have enough credits for it and plus I'm graduating this year" I told her."Hey me too ! " she smiled at me "I'm gonna go to Harvard " "Wow that's amazing, I'm told it's really hard to get in" "Yeah well,truth be told I got wait listed for 3 weeks then it wasn't until two weeks ago I finally I got a letter from them saying I got accepted " "Well I'm sorry you got wait listed for so long and I'm glad you got in" She laughed softly " You don't even know me , how can you be glad I got in" "I don't have to know you to be glad my newly best friend got into her dream school " I told her. She smiled ."So Summers , what's your story ?" She asked me. "What do you mean?" "Your story. Of how Henry and Catherine adopted you." "Oh uhm, that's a little personal don't you think?" I asked ."Your right , I'm sorry" she took a breath in. "well here you go your first period, AP calculus" she smiled softly. "Thanks Regina " I breathed out. "Your welcome, oh and wait here because I'm gonna show you to you're other classes" "Okay"

After first period I waited for Regina like she asked . I waited a minute or two then I saw her holding a guys hand Damn. "Hey Emma " she smiled .I faked a smile " hey Regina " "You ready?" "Yeah" I walked on her right side. "So you gonna introduce me to your boyfriend ?" I said holding back my jealousy ."Oh!  I'm sorry , this is my boyfriend Robin . Robin this is Emma , Emma Robin " she said smiling between us. "Hi " I faked another smile "Hey " Robin said "So Regina tells me your new here "  "Uhm yeah , I am " "That's cool , your the only new kid we've had in months" "Oh cool" I breathed ."Okay here you go dance  class." Regina said to me ."Great " I walk in. "Do you want me to wait for you ?" She asked me ."No, thanks you and Robin have fun " I say then closing the door.

After dance class I have gym so I just
stay in my leggings and t-shirt and I start looking for the gym when I felt someone push me and all my papers start flying everywhere. "Seriously?" I yell to myself .People start laughing while I pick up my papers ."Oh my godness are you okay ?" A girl asks me ."Yeah " She helps me pick up my stuff and helps me up ."I'm Mary Margaret " "Emma " I say grabbing my bag off the floor."You new here ?" She asked me."Yeah, do you know where the gym is ?" "Oh yeah I have that too , come on I'll walk with you" "Thank you." "Your Catherine and Henrys kid right?" "Yeah, I am" "We walk into the locker room and I see Regina changing into spandex and a white t-shirt "Hey Mary Margaret " she said "Hey reg." Mary Margaret said "I see you've met Emma," "Yeah I did she's cool" Margaret said smiling at me ."So Emma you like you're new school yet?" Regina asked me."Uhm, define like " I laughed "well besides being pushed to the ground, I like everything here it's amazing " I smile
"That's good" she smiled at me " So anyone you like yet ?" "Nope " "Oh come on , there has to be someone who's caught your eye ?" Mary Margaret said pitching in."Looks guys , I don't like anyone " I told them with my hands up in the hair."Fine don't tell your newly best friends " Regina said.I sighed " Okay ... Anyway , do guys know where I can get a smoothie ?"
"Oh! Yeah you can go to shake'Em " Mary Margaret said. "What's shake'Em?" "It's a really awesome smoothie place three blocks from here , but trust me it's really fun and it's super cheap !" Regina said excitedly. "You have to come with us." Mary Margaret said. I sighed "okay, I'll come." They both smiled "Yay! Meet us back here after last period." Regina said "Alright " I smiled and and Mary  Margaret and I walked off to gym class.

After school we go to shake'Em like we planned. And I meet up with Mary Margaret and Regina "Hey guys" "Hey Emma. You ready?" Mary Margaret asked "Yup." I smiled. We drive down to the smoothie place and we all got strawberry smoothies. "Ugh! I have so much Algebra homework." Mary Margaret complained "I have to do 3 essays for English 4 all due Monday." Regina said back I laughed and took a sip of my smoothie "what ?" Regina asked "Nothing it's just I have both of you for English and algebra and you thinks it's hard." "That's because it is." Mary Margaret sassed "fine I'll make you a bet. If. I finish the algebra homework and the 3 essays in one night you both have to my me a smoothie for a month." "And if you lose?" Regina said pushing the proposition further "I'll let you guys set me up on a blind date." Regina and Mary Margaret looked at each other then at me "Deal!" They shouted "Be prepared to lose girls,Cause I can do 4 essays in 4 hours" they smirked "And wear something pretty, when you lose" "In your dreams Mills" My alarm went off and I sighed "I have to go " "do you have to ?" Regina said sounding sad. "Yeah, I have to" I got up and went to my bug. I drove home and saw Henry and Catherine in the kitchen. "I'm home." I said softly "hey baby girl" Catherine said "hey " "How was  school." Henry asked "it's was.... Surprisingly fun" I smiled "well I got homework yo do so" they smiled and nodded. I ran upstairs and started working on the homework. When I was done with all of it, I took a shower ate dinner and then I laid Down and thought about Regina, there's just something about her. I closed my eyes and feel asleep
