"Welcome home Emma" Catherine said
" Thanks, Mrs. Martinez" I smiled softly at her
"Okay uhm.. Well you have your own bathroom and shower so..."she said gently.  " Emma I know this is hard but you'll adapt ... I know we're not the family you hoped for but I promise we'll treat you like you're our own,"Catherine said
"'Like our own?'"She is our own " Henry said walking in handing me a bag "Its just a little welcoming present from us"
I smiled and opened it
"A necklace.. With a swan ". I smiled widely "I love it Henry "
"Here let me " he said walking to me .
I lifted up my hair and he put the necklace around me. "There " he smiled
I hugged Catherine and Henry "Thank you guys so much" I said gleefully
"It's nothing honestly " Henry said to me
"I'm not  just talking about the necklace.." I said . "I'm talking about letting me into your family and adopting me and accepting me as you're own just... Thank you for everything " I said as I wiped the single tear falling down on my face.
"Aww honey, it's okay" Catherine said pulling me into a bear hug "I'll protect you til the end of time" she whispered to me, that made me smile and tighten my grip on the hug.
"Please don't leave me " I whispered aloud. Catherine and I pulled apart then Henry walked toward us and grabbed mine and Catherine's hand and looked at me with adoring eyes , "Never." I smiled and we all went into another bear hug , after a while we pulled apart.
"Alright uhm, dinner will be ready soon until then you can unpack, look around the house." Catherine told me while wiping her tears , I nodded in agreement.
"Do you need any help unpacking?" Henry asked me.
I turned slightly and looked at my things I really didn't have much just a couple boxes on the bed and a few on the floor and my suitcase by my night stand.
"No thank you, I honestly don't have that much to unpack." I told him
He smiled at me " Okay then, come on sweetheart I'll help you with dinner" he told Catherine
"Oh no, you take out the trash like I asked three days ago "
I laughed , which caught Catherine attention then she winked at me and I smiled
"Come honey let's leave our child alone so she can unpack" Catherine said while pushing Henry out of my room. Once they were gone I unpacked all of my things then sat down on my bed and looked around my  room and sighed " Welcome home " I whispered to myself
