Third Person's POV

Fateh and Amrik were talking while the other family members were conversing as well . At this time one of Amrik's friend came . He greeted her and they both went to his room as the whole family was gathered in the living room. So Gurpreet asked him to take her to his room and she'll send some snacks for them .

In about fifteen minutes Tejo prepared the snacks and was gonna take it to Amrik's room when Mahi asked her whether she should accompany her as well . Tejo nodded her head in agreement as she knew how protective Mahi was for her and her feelings. As soon as they opened the door for Amrik's room they saw his friend trying to slap him . Tejo was freezed in her place while Mahi ran towards them and pushed the girl. Due to the loud voices the others came to the room as well . Fateh went towards Tejo as she was standing quietly. He shook her lightly this brought her out of her shock. She hugged Fateh and started narrating the things she witnessed. The girl introduced herself as Sneha .

Sneha : Your son had physical relations with me and now he's refusing to accept me.

Amrik : Why are you lying we never got physical forget physical we were not even in a relationship ? You're my classmate that's it .

Sneha : So after sleeping with me now you have moved on . Did you find some new girl who's providing more satisfaction to you ?

Amrik : I swear Papa Mummy I don't know why she's lying I have never crossed the boundaries you've drawn . Yeah I agree I do attend parties but even there I don't do strong alcohol's as well because you'll don't like it .

Tejo : Why are you explaining and why is none of you throwing that girl out of this house ?

Fateh : Tejo what are you ...

Tejo : What's wrong with you Fateh I know Amrik can be rude sometimes but he's kind hearted and sweet ? He does have a temper . But he'll never go around dating and sleeping without a relationship . We're his family . Are you forgetting this ? This girl is uttering all rubbish even if they had a physical relationship can she prove that it was forced or not a one night stand . It's common nowadays . And what proof does she has that our Amrik has done all this ?

Fateh : But Tejo why will she lie ?

Tejo : Shall I say or will you say it Sneha Kaur cum Jasmine's best friend ? Did you really think I won't be able to recognise you ?

Sneha ( fearfully) : Jasmine had planned this she wanted you'll to lose your respect in the society.

Fateh : OMG that sister of yours is really wants to die . Why is she such a pain in the back ?

Tejo : Get out this instant or the consequences will be bad . ( Sneha literally ran for her life . )

Amrik waited for everyone to leave and everyone did leave except Tejo .

Tejo : Take some rest Amrik have the snacks I'll get your dinner after sometime. Don't think about the happenings that took place now . Okay .

Tejo too left after that but Amrik stared at her back . He never respected her infact he had taunted and bullied her. But when his own parents and siblings didn't stand up for him she did ,when they didn't trust him she did infact she didn't even want him to explain that was the level of trust she had on him . Fateh Veere did get a diamond who'll always support them when no one will be there for them . She'll accompany them in their miseries as well as happiness. He had the best Bhabi though he realised this a bit late. Jasmine couldnt even be compared to his Bhabi's toe nail . He'll start calling her Bhabi but how yeah first he'll apologize to her for his mistakes and then ask for her permission whether he could call her Bhabi or not. He lied down on the bed to take some rest .
It was dinner time Tejo had brought Amrik's dinner she knocked on his door . Amrik went and opened the door to let her in . She kept the dinner on the table.

Tejo : You have your dinner I'll wait for you to complete as I have take the plate back.

Amrik and Tejo sat in silence while Amrik completed his food.

Tejo took his plate and was gonna leave the room when she heard a small voice saying Thank you . She smiled and turned back.

Tejo : Good night Amrik.

Amrik : Good night.

Next day Fatejo wanted to go shopping but Mahi and Amrik were also accompanying them as Mahi wanted  to buy some dresses. After completing their shopping Maahi and Tejo dragged both the brother's to the men section. It was Tejo's plan to shop for them also .

Fateh , Amrik : Just how much shopping is left ?
More than half of the day we've spend here . We're hungry.

Tejo : Just a bit after that we'll return okay .This is the last bit of it . I had informed mummy that we'll have our lunch outside. So she shouldn't wait for us.

Fateh,Amrik : Fine.

Tejo started selecting clothes but both the brothers were shocked why she was separating it into two piles . After collecting ten shirts and ten jeans which were selected by Maahi and then again divided by Tejo. Tejo divided the shirts and pants she made a pile of five shirts and five pants in two bags. Then went towards Fateh and Amrik she took the shopping bags from their hands while handing the bags over to them.

Tejo : Go and try these clothes both of you .

The look Tejo gave them while handing over the bags was enough for them to not argue.
They went to the trial room and tried the dresses. Both the brothers were shocked by how appropriately Tejo had picked the clothes all of them were according to their likes. They went outside after trying all the clothes and informed Mahi and Tejo that they liked the clothes and directly went to the cash counter at last the shopping ended. Four of them went to the food court to have their lunch. After the lunch was done Tejo and Mahi went to get some soft drinks for all of them while they were coming back some guys teased them and Tejo almost slapped them but Mahi stopped her .
Tejo left after humiliating those guys but they followed to their table and passed comments on them. Fateh and Amrik were enraged by the happenings and started beating those boys . While they're being beaten up one of the guys was gonna attack on Amrik from behind with a glass bottle but Tejo pushed him so that bottle smashed with her head.

Amrik : Bhabi  you moron just you wait Veere look at this man what has he done to our Bhabi . Mahi open your slippers and beat him. Veere you take Bhabi to hospital I'll make sure this guys are arrested .

Tejo : Stop it both of you Amrik, Mahi and Fateh all of us are going back please. The security is here they'll get him arrested. Please let's go to the hospital together if not I'll straight away go home and not let anyone touch my wound.

Fateh (angrily) : Fine . Let's go Amrik and Mahi.

Fateh drived to the hospital first there Tejo's wound was treated then they drived back to home . Fateh picked Tejo up in his arms and directly carried her to their room without even answering his family's queries . Mahi and Amrik informed their family about everything.

Fatejo's Room

Tejo : Don't you think it was rude the elders were calling us .

Fateh : Not a word wifey . Not. A. Single.Word.
What do you think of yourself ? What if something serious would have happened ? Did you even think about the consequences ?

Tejo : Fateh listen to me I didn't do it purposely it was out of reflex what if Amrik would have got hurt ? At that time only Amrik's safety was my priority . Amrik and Maahi are just like my Jassu , Dilraj and Navraj to me. How can I let them get hurt ? And I am not sorry for it . I'll do it again if that's what it'll take to keep them safe ?

Fateh : You won't repeat this or you'll regret believe me. Did you even think what I would have done if something would have happened to you ? Or you too want to leave me as well . Don't I deserve to be happy with you ?

Fateh was starting to tear up . Tejo knew she had committed a mistake she slowly walked towards him and embraced him . Fateh started crying in her embrace.

Fateh : Please don't do this again . I can't lose you . You're more important than my own life.

Both of them were unaware that someone was listening to them silently outside their room. Amrik was crying after listening to Tejo's talk. How can she be so good for him when he has been humiliating and downgrading her . He stood there for how long even he didn't know because soon his Veer Ji opened the door and was shocked to see his brother crying.

Fateh : What happened Amrik did someone scold you ?

Listening to Fateh's tensed voice even Tejo got up and came to the door she too was shocked seeing Amrik's condition. But unlike Fateh she pulled him inside and asked Fateh to close the door.  Tejo made Amrik sit on the bed and kneeled in front of her just like mother's do with their children .

Tejo : What's wrong Amrik did someone scold you for the happenings in the mall ? Why are you crying ?

Listening to Tejo's gentle voice Amrik hugged her and started crying and mumbling something that Fatejo couldn't exactly make out about.  Tejo didn't ask him anything and let him cry in her embrace. After sometime he stopped crying and said in a hoarse voice .

Amrik : I'm the worst brother in law Bhabi . I kept on insulting you even though I knew none of it was your fault. Infact I doubt whether my Veer even loved that Jasmine. He always spoke about you. It was always you Bhabi. God gave us a lot of signs but we didn't under it. All the rituals were performed by you both. Even when Veer Ji lost his job he was scared that you'll be disappointed with him and then about what that Jasmine wanted . I'm so sorry Bhabi. I promise I will protect you always . I'll also help you in pranking Veere but please forgive me.

Tejo : Are you an idiot ? Just for that you cried so much . What's wrong with both of you ?
Giving me a headache just like that . Fateh stop blushing and pouting. Go and bring dinner for all of us also bring Mahi with you.

Fateh : As you wish wifey.

This time Tejo blushed while the brothers shared a hearty laugh.  After Fateh left . Amrik put his head on Tejo's lap while she massaged it. Amrik felt the similar solace he felt in his mom's lap. Fateh and Mahi returned with the dinner and our possessive husband mode was on.

Fateh : Why is he lying on your lap ? Oii Amrik get up from my wifey's lap ?

Fateh was about to shake Amrik when Tejo held his hand and gave him a hard glare.

Tejo : Did you loose your mind completely ? He's sleeping go and sit there I'll wake him up. Amrik wake up dinner is here.

Amrik woke up and was about to rub his eyes but Tejo stopped him saying it's a bad habit and he shouldn't do that.
Fateh our jealous potato was staring at Amrik with anger while looking towards his wifey with puppy eyes. Why was she taking care of that monkey 🐒 . Infact why were these two monkeys 🐒🐒 invited to have dinner with them .Dumb wifey why did she allow them  in their private time.
Tejo looked towards Fateh and after serving her s-i-l and b-i-l she served their food in one plate and started feeding her pouty hubby. God she loved him pouty he resembled a teddy bear 🐻.
After dinner everyone went to their rooms to sleep . While Fateh was still pouting so Tejo pecked him on his forehead. This made our jealous potato 🥔 happy and he was showing all his teeth to Tejo in his happiness.Another progress was done in their relationship that day . They're happy and hoped to continue like that throughout their lives. Fateh made sure to make Tejo sleep comfortably and then pecked her forehead and held her hand as he wanted to cuddle with her but he can't. At last another day came to it's end .

Narrator's POV
