The Iwatobi and the Samezuka private schools have been enemies since the two schools was built. They both was built in the same area and the students would often compete in anything to prove what school better. The two private schools use any games or school club games as a reason to complete and see what school really the best. This has gone on for many years and is still going on. Our story sits with the two private schools baseball club. They got rivalry just like all the other clubs but maybe a certain group in these two schools could win something much more beautiful. 

ON A TUESDAY MORNING.

"did you hear the news" momo the left fielder said excited as he ran over to his friends in the club. "what are you talking about, hurry and change you got practice" Goro the coach of the baseball club said annoyed. "about Iwatobi getting a new pitcher this year, I hear he never been in a real main club before and is joining the team for his last four years at the school" allchiro the second base said with a grin. "I guess it our win this year and maybe the next couple years then, if they letting a non player become their main pitcher straight away they got to be desperate for player" seijuro the right fielder said with a smirk and the club cheered. "I'm not so sure, their captain wont let anyone be a main player for no reason, this guy might be good" sousuke the captain of the team and the pitcher warned. "we can never let our guard down, not for anyone" rin the team catcher said with a straight face as he looked to the filed. 

"get practicing, our practice game is tomorrow and losing is not an option" goro yelled and everyone started running laps. "we got to win this year, if we lose to a team with a new women coach and a women manger who never done baseball before and a new member who never played in a team, we laughed at" seijuro said annoyed. "with all their best members leaving last year since it was their last year, I'm sure we win as they try to form a new team" momo cheered and his brother nodded. "I'm sure we can out smart them again and make one of them mess up during a game, the win will be ours" allchiro said with a smirk. 

"what do you think about the Iwatobi team this year, tomorrow will be our first time seeing them in the new school year and we see how their new team plays" sousuke said as he and rin practice throwing and catching. "they be mad about how they lost last year but all their sempies left after they lost the game since they were in their last year but haru not an idiot and I'm sure he made a new good team who could beat us if they tried, we need to be careful the rest in our club dont try any tricks this time or our wins wont mean shit and we could end up losing teams to practice with" rin said as he caught sousuke ball.

LATER THAT NIGHT.

"shit, its cold" rin cursed as he walked towards the shop that deadly in the middle of the two private schools. As rin walked he noticed a tall dirty blonde boy standing by a night lamp looking lost. Rin was just gonna keep walking but the tall boy green eyes attracted him and before rin knew it he was by the guy side. 

"are you lost" rin asked with a gentle voice. "ah um yeah, I think" the tall boy said nervous. "you think" rin said with his eyebrow up. "I'm lost, please help me" the tall boy pouted making rin giggle a little. "where do you need to go" rin ask with a smile and the boy face lit up. "um the shop around here, my friend said he pick me up from there but I got lost" the tall boy said with a kind smile and rubbed his neck. "follow me, I'm heading there" rin grinned and started walking with the boy next to him. 

"so what's your name" rin asked with a smile, he didnt know why but he felt calm, safe and warm with this guy around. "makoto" the boy smiled brightly making rin smile more. "I'm rin, nice to meet you makoto" rin grinned and the boy smiled brighter. "yeah, thanks for helping me rin" makoto giggled and soon they reached the shop. 

"are you sure your gonna be ok, waiting here alone" rin asked with worry since he could see makoto as a little lost puppy. "yeah I be fine, I know my friend will come" makoto smiled brightly and rin felt a shiver making him shake from the cold more. 

"here, stay warm rin" makoto said with a caring smile and his eyes shining bright as he wrapped a red scarf around rin, it was a little big for rin but it was also very warm. "but you get cold" rin said with worry but at the same time he didnt want the scarf to be taken away. He felt safe and warm with the scarf on and makoto scent could still be smelt. "it was going to be a gift for someone special but It doesn't have a place anymore, keep it as my thanks and care for it like it should have" makoto said with a kind smile and rin smiled back. "thanks" rin smiled and started to walk away back to school. 

"I wonder if I ever see him again" rin smiled brightly as he thought about makoto smile once more making him feel warm inside. 

THE NEXT DAY, AFTER SCHOOL.

"ah welcome to Iwatobi, lets have a good practice match" miho the club manger and a teacher at the school said with a kind smile and shook hands with goro. "thanks for having us, I hope we get along well" goro smiled back but everyone felt the tough vibe from both of them. 

"we going to win this match" allchiro said with a grin as he shook hands. "like we lose to guys who scream after seeing a bug" nagisa the right fielder of Iwatobi said with a grin. 

"try not to be tricked like your sempies" momo said with a grin as he shook hands. "the day I get tricked by you will be the day I fail at a test and unlike you I never score less then ten points" rei the left fielder said with a smirk and pushed his glasses up. 

"we going to crush you" seijuro said with a smirk. "sorry but I be too busy catching all your team strikes to be crushed" kisumi the team catcher said with a grin and the two didnt bother shaking hands. 

"still captain I see, lets get along this year as well" sousuke said with a straight unbothered face. "the day I get along with you would be when I'm dead" haru the team captain and the second base said as he rolled his eyes. "so haru, where the new pitcher, we heard he never played for a team, why would you risk so much on a non player" rin asked with his arms crossed and looked around trying to find a pitcher vibe. "um well, he got lost and will be here in five minutes" haru said with a frown and both sousuke and rin face dropped along with the rest of the two teams. 

"haru why didnt you tell us he lost" nagisa yelled with worry. "how did he even get lost in your school, everyone already been in their school for four years" allchiro said shocked. "well he kinda started this year in our school and dont know it very well but we did draw him a map" rei said embarrassed for the team. "wow he needs a map, I kinda feel bad for you guys right now" momo said with worry since they couldn't play until the lost pitcher came. "um he doesn't have the map, I gave it to the girls who wanted to cheer me on" kisumi said with a smirk and all of Iwatobi glared at him. "dude I understand your a player but keep it in your pants for our games" seijuro said annoyed. "dont worry, coach went to get him after I rang him and will be here soon" haru said annoyed but the teams. 

"oh yeah, who is this new coach, I heard its a girl who never played the sport" sousuke asked with his arms crossed. "sorry I'm late boys, I got him" gou the team new couch yelled with a worried smile as she ran over with another member behind her. "gou, why do you guys have my sister and we get an old flirty guy" rin yelled with anger and haru just smirked. "sorry haru, I couldn't find the map and tried to guess my way here but I failed and I'm sorry rei for losing the map" makoto said with worry and everyone glared at kisumi more for making makoto feel bad. 

"rin" makoto said with a kind smile as he saw the red hair and shocked everyone else. "makoto, your the team new pitcher" rin yelled in shock and makoto just nodded with a grin. "you know each other" sousuke asked as everyone else just watched the four boys. "rin helped me when I got lost last night, thanks again" makoto smiled like an angle and everyone heart missed a beat.

"wait so he was the nice, cute guy who helped you, how is he cute or nice" haru asked as he pointed to rin who blushed a little. "but he helped me haru and just look at him he so cute" makoto smiled held rin head in his face to try and show how cute he was but instead made the two teams laugh. "why dont we got ready for the game" gou said with a small smile to try and change the subject.
