a few days after jinhyuk first smiled at wooseok, wooseok found himself more intrigued by jinhyuk. even if his personality was still cold as ice, his smiles made it all better. not to mention that wooseok actually looked forward to tutoring jinhyuk after school for often.

its been the third week of tutoring— almost a month since wooseok first actually talked to jinhyuk. it was interesting to see the drastic change of the vampire in just merely a few weeks. he wondered if it was him that changed it. well, whoever did change it, i liked it.

not only did wooseok realize this change, jinhyuk's friends also realized it. jinhyuk had gotten into less trouble and was sort of paying attention in class. well, sometimes he'd sleep all the way through but he still got good grades on his exams for some reason.

"are you really jinhyuk?" seungwoo asked, looking at jinhyuk with his squinted eyes, "you haven't gotten into a fight for more than a week"

"maybe fights just aren't my thing anymore" jinhyuk replied, slinging his backpack over his shoulders as they got out of the classroom to go to his locker.

"impossible" yuvin chuckled, jabbing his shoulder with his elbow, "maybe it has something to do with the president you're hanging out with"

jinhyuk's cheeks turned unnoticeably pink, "shut up"

"he's not denying it" seungwoo high-fived yuvin, making the vampire glare at them, "really though! we even saw you smiling in the library yesterday"

jinhyuk got to his locker and opened it, "you guys saw me at the library? didn't you guys leave?"

"we were in the gym for extra basketball practice and we just happened to pass by" yuvin explained, leaning onto the locker next to jinhyuk's, "who knew you could smile huh?"

seungwoo smiled teasingly at the vampire, "do you have a little crush on mr. president?"

"are you crazy—" jinhyuk shoved his books into his locker before closing it, "i don't like him!"

"and look who's coming to get you" yuvin whispered, making jinhyuk turn around to see the shorter coming at him.

"jinhyuk!" wooseok smiled, making jinhyuk's heart flutter, "are we going to the library again?"

"when did you turn into a book nerd?" seungwoo snickered, turning to look at the brown haired boy in front of them, "wooseok right? mr. president?"

wooseok nodded, "you're byungchan's uhm boyfriend?"

"soon to be" seungwoo winked, making wooseok giggle, "but don't tell him yet. it's supposed to be a surprise" wooseok nodded, hoping that he wouldn't slip out what seungwoo just told him in front of byungchan.

"and tell yohan that i think he's cute when he stutters" yuvin chuckled, rubbing the back of his nape, "and we'd like to tell you that you're doing a fine job at changing our friend over here"

"i said shut up" jinhyuk muttered, looking away with sheer embarrassment.

"don't you have a girlfriend yuvin?" wooseok cocked his head to the side, "don't you dare try dating yohan if you're not single"

yuvin held his hands up in defense, "i did break up with her today so that i can follow my dreams"

"yohan is your dream?" wooseok snorted, giggling at the red faced vampire.

jinhyuk felt annoyed for some reason. why was wooseok getting along with his two friends so easily? why did he get along with everyone so easily? he clenched his fist and cleared his throat.

"let's go to the library" jinhyuk said, turning wooseok around and pushing him to the library, away from his friends. he couldn't understand the weird feeling.

yuvin and seungwoo watched from behind and snickered, "he's so jealous"

"do you think he knows what jealous is?" yuvin chuckled, watching as jinhyuk continued pushing the younger.

"definitely not" seungwoo smirked, "but he's changing for the better with wooseok around. its been years since i've seen him interact with anyone else other than us"

"someone's broken his cold heart and filled it with love" yuvin smiled, happy to see the change in jinhyuk.

jinhyuk pushed wooseok all the way to the library, even though wooseok complained that he could walk on his own and that he wasn't done talking to the other two vampires. as soon as he sat down on his chair, wooseok began to whine.

"what was that for?" wooseok pouted, "i wasn't done talking and i couldn't even say bye to your friends"

"you're supposed to tutor me" jinhyuk grumbled, taking out his things, along with his blood pack and started drinking it in annoyance, "plus you guys were talking so much"

wooseok's brain could only think that jinhyuk was jealous. he was definitely annoyed by something and wooseok knew it. he smiled to himself, cupping his cheeks with his own hands to cover up the red tint.

"what are you smiling about?" jinhyuk opened his pen and started doing his work.

"nothing nothing" wooseok giggled, earning him a glare from the vampire as he took out his book. he couldn't really focus on his book since he was busy staring at the vampire who was hard at work.

"stop staring at me" jinhyuk said, without looking up, which made wooseok look down at his book, "i can feel it y'know"

"your face healed up nicely mr. vampire" wooseok said, keeping his eyes down on his book. he was jealous at how his face could turn back to normal after numerous fights.

it was jinhyuk's turn to look at him, "i haven't really gotten into fights" he looked at his arm, "and my arm healed too"

"that's because i helped you take care of it" wooseok smiled cheekily, making the vampire roll his eyes, "don't roll your eyes at me like that! you shouldn't be getting into fights in the first place"

"they started it first" jinhyuk clicked his tongue, tapping his pencil onto the table, "and even if i did get hurt, you'd care for me right?"

wooseok was taken aback by that question. his heart started racing all of a sudden and he was so sure that jinhyuk could hear it, "i w-will. i promise" wooseok smiled, but that quickly turned into a frown, "but that doesn't mean that you can get into fights!"

jinhyuk chuckled, his heart feeling warm after wooseok said that, "you're not my mom mr. president"

"don't call me that" wooseok pouted, "my name is wooseok!"

"i like mr. president better" jinhyuk smiled, resting his chin on the palm of his hand. wooseok caught a glimpse of the smile and smiled with him.

"you smiled again!" wooseok said happily, eyes crinkling into an eye smile. he always got happy seeing him smile. wooseok didn't know that jinhyuk only smiled for him. if he did know, jinhyuk would flush with embarrassment.

"i did?" jinhyuk mumbled, pretending not to know as he returned to his normal cold face again.

wooseok nodded, "so you can smile"

"i guess" jinhyuk chuckled, loving the look on the younger's face when he smiled. he could smile all day just to see that look.
