Kakashi POV
*timeskip to after they save the kazekage*
We were on our way home and (y/n) still hasn't woke up. I've been worried this whole time. I mean shes been alive this whole time and I gave up on her before the search even started. I let her slip through my fingers once she cant leave me again. I was carrying her on my back and we were about a days journey in and about to set up camp for the night. We stopped and I left to get fire wood. I had set (y/n) down on the ground were natuyo was setting up camp while sakura prepares the food.

As I was picking up sticks I heard a twig  break in the distance. I looked up and see (y/n). "(Y/n), you shouldn't be up yet your not in great shape." Why did sakura let her go. "Hold up buddy why do you know our name?" She said looking at me skeptically. "Umm because I know you, when did you wake up."

"I'm not the real (y/n) I'm her blood clone." Blood clone what the heck is that? "What do you mean blood clone that's not a thing." I started getting on edge. "Its a jutsu we made up, though I have no recollection of who you are. We have the same memory up until the moment we "split", did she meet you while on the current mission?"

"Not necessarily she knows me but I dont know the extent of what she remembers I guess is how I should put it it's like her memories been wiped or something." I replied still ready to fight if need be. Suddenly a kid runs out from behind a tree in the distance. "Wheres my mommy what did you do to her." He demands while pointing a stick at me. He has hair like mine but in an opposite direction, interesting. "Woah buddy calm down shes fine shes at the camp, I can take her to you if you want." He slowly put the stick down and we both turned to the blood clone. "Ok take us to her"

I turned around and they followed me back to camp we had already settled down in camp so when we got there I started a fire and sakura began cooking as we talked about our new guest. "Woah that kid looks like you kaki-sensei" I sent naruto a death glare which he didnt seem to notice. "Yes they do have a uncanny resemblance dont they." Said the clone as I just shyly smiled at her and scratched the back of my head.

"Soo what exactly are you doing here and how are you still here if shes currently in a coma." Sakura asked the blood clone. "Well I'm here because this jutsu doesnt wear off unless she dies, or calls me back, or I sustain an injury that would kill a human being. I'm basically like her twin but we have the same memory and I can only do as she instructs me to. I am here right now because I felt a uneasy feeling coming from her but knew she wasnt dead so i came to investigate." She concluded finally taking a breath. "What about the kid?" Naruto asked. "Well he is (y/n) kid and I was summoned to protect him at all costs." We were talking as said kid was asleep next to his mother in the tent I had set up earlier. "That's why he looks so much like kakashi-sensei, hes...." I slapped my hand over his mouth before he could finish so all we heard was mumbling. I let go and gave him a death glare that seemed to shut him up for now. "Is there something I'm missing, who are you?"

"Well me amd sakura were her comrades before she disappeared and kakashi-sensei was.."

"Her sensei, I was her sensei." I finished. "But sensei yall..." I glared at him again and he stopped. "Well I wont be able to go away until she wakes up and undoes the jutsu. I guess I'll be journeying with yall then." She said as she got up and went to sleep.

"What are you doing sensei she needs to know." Naruto whisper-yelled at me. "I know that but we dont know how much she remembers plus when she woke earlier she just called me sensei she never did that without it being for jokes. She doesnt remember me like we were she only knows me as her sensei. If we tell her clone now when the jutsu is undone and she gains its memories then it might throw her back into shock she needs to find out on her own we cant interfere." I explained still keeping it down. "But wont it be hard for you sensei?" Sakura asked. "Of course but it'll just be even better when we get her back I guess. We dont know how long itll take she could remember me in a few days we just have to wait."

"But sensei..." naruto looked down. "No buts that's an order not a word about me to her about it until we all agree to start hinting at it or she wakes up." We packed up and went to bed.

TIMESKIP......

We have been back in the leaf for about a month and (y/n) still hasn't woken up. Her BC ( Blood Clone) has been staying in the hospital at nights to be there when she wakes up to explain and undo the jutsu. The kid, who's name we learned is Hikari, has been hanging out with the different people of the leaf like the rookie nine and the jonins that are my friends. "He looks just like you kakashi." Asuma said next to me. "I know but the sad part is I cant even tell him I'm his father even if he is my kid."

"There is no "IF" kakashi hes 2 years old amd some months which is exactly around when she "Died" and he has silver hair not to mention the gravity defying nature if it even if it's the other way he is literally a spitting image of you and her combined the perfect combination." He lectured me. "I know I know but he still cant know and I still haven't introduced him to the twins."

A anbu appeared near us as we watched hikaru play at the park, the twins being at the academy. "Kakashi she has awakened." He said and just then I felt my heart skip a beat it was time. Time to see if she remembered and finally get her back. I nodded and quickly grabbed Hikari. "Where awe we goin?" He asked as I ran us to the hospital. "Its time to see your mommy again." His eyes widened with shock and happiness.

AT THE HOSPITAL....

We walked into her room and Hikari ran to his mother. I look ed d around to see Tsunade along with shizune who had a clipboard in hand, and Naruto and Sakura. "Ok we need to ask some questions to figure out what you know and how your here." Tsunade said. "Um what do you mean how I'm here?." We all went silent till tsunade spoke again "(y/n) you were pronounced dead almost three years ago."

She had shock written all over her face and could speak. "(Y/n) we need you to tell us what all you remember so we can asses the situation." She was still in shock but slowly nodded. "Well I remember back in the academy and spending time with everyone then it's a little fuzzy but then we were in teams and my teammates were.... Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto. We became good friends and our sensei was kakashi-sensei." She glanced at me then continued. "Then we were on missi ok and and a chunin exam incident happened and then I think I remember Kabuto injecting me with some liquid in a needle then when I woke up I was in orochimaru's lair and then he did research on me and at some point I had Hikari. All that happened after that was me serving orochimaru and the last mission went astray then I found them or they found me rather." She concluded, so she didn't remember me.

I wanted to walk out right now but I didnt want to look suspicious. "Well you do seem to still be forgetting something's but maybe they will come back, meanwhile you can go home now seeing as hes already asleep hehe." She said pointing to Hikari. (Y/n) looked down and smiled, oh I missed that smile. As tsunade was walking out (y/n) stopped her. "Wait were do I live?" Oh yeah guess she does have the same address as me, she does have my last name not that she remembers. "You dont remember... well you live with Hatake." She said and left. (Y/n) looked around a bit the said, "who on earth is that?" We all laughed and I said, "that would be me." Her eyes got bigger and she looked confused. "Wait I live with you." "Well you did before you ya know." I said looking down.

We got her checked out and was walking through Konaha. We heard gasps and whispering from the people looking at us, or rather looking at her. "I really did "die" didnt I." She was looking around at the people. "Yeah we were all told that you died. Some of us took it harder than others." I said still not looking up from my book.

When we got to the house we came inside and the kids looked up from the toys they were playin with. They ran over towards us. "Daddy." They screamed as they ran. I picked them up "hey guys how was the academy today?" I asked as I crouched back down.

"It was fun I hit the targets with the kunai and Sakumo couldn't he just hit the tree."

"Heyyyy I tried."

Rin stuck her tongue out then they looked at (y/n). "Who's that?" Rin said as she pulled on the bottom of my shirt. "She looks like mommy." Sakumo said kinda in a daze. I smiled at the thought that they recognized her. She gasped and closed her eyes I got up to see if she was ok she opened her eyes and started tearing up.

"Sakumo, Rin" she said in shock. But I hadn't said their names yet did she remember me. I took Hikari from her and she cracked to the ground hugging the kids. "Are you mommy?" Sakumo asked. "Dont be stupid, dad said mommy died it cant be her." I could feel the heartbreak. "But she looks like mommy." She pulled away and just looked at them.

Iruka got up from the couch and nodded at me to which I nodded back amd he left. "Alright guys its snack time go wash your hands." I said as I walked to the couch and set Hikari down still asleep. I walked back into the kitchen and grabbed the gold fish from the pantry and putting it out on two separate paper towels. I walked back over to (y/n).

"Are you ok do you need help with something?" She hadn't moved from before. She slowly stood up, "I am their mom aren't I." So she had remembered them. "Yeah your their mom." She looked at me. "Then that means that we're..."

"Married. Yes we are." She began to blush. The kids came back to eat and sat down digging into their own pile of food. I grabbed (y/n) and brought her over to the counter. "Hey guys I need to tell you something." They both looked up at me. "So you know how she looks like mommy." They nodded. "That's because she is." Their eyes went wide. "I knew it I knew you were mommy." Sakumo said to which (y/n) giggled. "But you said she was dead." Rin pointed an accusing finger at me. "Well that's a story for when your older."

We spent the evening and finally it was time for bed. Hikari had woken up earlier and was playing with Rin and Sakumo. But now it was time for bed. The nursery turned into their bedroom before so know they both sleep in beds. But I did keep our other bed in their incase I wanted to watch them and remember (y/n). We went upstairs with the twins and Hikari. The twins ran to their own bed and hopped in I walked over to sakumo amd tucked him in as (y/n) also came over. I kissed his forehead, "goodnight buddy." I stood back up. "Nigh night." (Y/n) repeated what I had done and we repeated it with Rin. We set Hikari in the big bed in there and walked out.

"I can sleep on the couch." I said making my way downstairs. "Wait you can sleep in the same bed as me." She looked at me. "Are you sure?" She nodded and we went to our room. I went into the bathroom to change and got into pjs pants and a old shirt. I gave her a baggy shirt if mine and a pair of her shorts from before she left. She changed and came back in. The shorts were a lot tighter than they used to be so she definitely grew. We hopped into bed and played on the opposite sides.

"Wait so." She got on her elbow facing me. I sat up as well. And looked at her i still had my mask on because she didnt remember me just yet so imma keep this on for now. "If I'm their mom and your their dad." She was piecing things together. "Then we must have..." she didnt finish and turned redder than a tomatoe. I chuckled, "yes that's how it works." She turned even redder and put her hands on her face. And I laughed even more. I moved her hands and leaned into her she stayed red and looked a little nervous I went to her ear. "Dont worry it was good." I then backed up and played back down as she choked on her own spit. I smiled in satisfaction. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad i could still tease her she knows were married and have kids i just wont do anything further till she remembers.

A/n hey guys soo i know I've been gone for a while but i was slowly working on this chapter school caught up with me and the whole do work at home thing is hard for me haha but her ya go and I'll try to get another one in soon but till then.
