Y/n pov

I had a mission to the sand village to retrieve a scroll from one of orochimaru's men. There shouldn't be any difficulties so that's a pro. I packed the little stuff I needed and grabbed Hikaru. That was about 3 hours ago. We had already started our travel to the sand village and were stopping be cause unlike me hikaru cant not eat. I set up my sleeping bag and grabbed twigs that were around us so I could keep an eye on him. I started the fire and went to the river about 3 feet away from us and caught 2 fish. I came back and put a stick through the fish and set them in the fire to start cooking.

"Mommy wen awe yew weaving mee?"
I looked at my two year old. "Not for a little while bud we still have a whole days journey then I'll leave you and grab the scroll." His face fell a little. "Sont worry buddy mommy never leaves you totally alone I leave part of me." I went over to him and picked him up placing him on my hip. "Yeh but yuw cuwld get hurt." I smiled down at him. "No I wont your mommy is really good.....are you doubting my strength little boy." I said teasingly. His eyes widened. "No..." I threw him in the air and heard him giggle so I repeated it. After catching him in the air I set him down to stand on the ground. "I think foods done." He squealed and ran towards the fire. "Hey hey what did I say about getting that close." He scooted back. "Sowy mommy."

I picked up the fish and handed him one he slowly at it while I ate mine. When we were done I put the fire out and we both settled into bed, after i set a bunch of traps of course. Cant be too safe when it's just me. We had left pretty late in the day so it was night.

When I woke up I let him sleep because he is too small to run on so little sleep the little nugget. I got out of the sleeping bag and slowly picked up our stuff. When I was done all I had to do was fold the sleeping bag up. So I picked up hikaru and set him on the ground slowly so I didnt wake him up. I grabbed the sleeping bag and rolled it up quickly. I put my backpack on amd grabbed hikaru carrying him like a baby and began jumping from tree to tree.

It had been about 3 more hours b4 he started to wake up. I paused on a tree branch. "Hey buddy." He rubbed his eyes. "Mommy?" Aww his sleepy voice is so cute. "Yes baby." He looked around and understood we were on the move. "I'm hungwy." I set him down on the branch and he latched onto my leg. I pulled my backpack off and looked inside. I pulled out a bag of chips and a granola bar. I zipped the bag and put it back on. I handed him the items and picked him up he opened them and began to eat. I hopped down from the tree and began to walk fast to continue moving while he ate.

When he finished, I held him like a baby again and began springing from tree to tree again. We reached a village close to the sand but a little bit away. This is where I would leave hikaru. I found an inn and checked in to a room. We walked to the room and when I set hikaru down he ran to the bed and tried to get on. He failed and looked at me. I chuckled and walked over to him lifting him up to the bed. He stood up and began jumping. He gave a final jump and landed on his butt.

"Awe yew abot to weave." He looked at me. I nodded." Owkay be carfuwl." I smiled, "I will." I gave him a kiss. I walked to the kpe. Area in the room. I made a few handsighns, "blood clone jutsu." I cut my palm open and watched as the blood poured out and multiplied quickly. A body formed and looked exactly like me. "Stay and watch him dont let anyone in until I get back." I commanded. "Yeah yeah I know I rarely see any action nowadays." I rolled my eyes. I looked at hikaru "by kiddo love you." He looked af me and nodded "luv yew too mommy."

With that I hopped out the window and continued the small journey left to the sand. When she got there, a small sand storm had started that would halt all journeying making her glad she had gotten there when she did. When she walked through the rocky entrance she slid her hood on making it so you could only see the tip of her nose and her mouth. She walked through the village getting wierd stares from the civilians around her, not that she cared.

She entered an alleyway and stopped at a door. She knocked a code on the door. The door creaked open and she looked left and right before entering the building. When she got in a short man with a scar running down his lip walked out of the shadows. "What can I do for you?" His voice sounded threatening. "I'm here to collect a scroll you were given for lord orochimaru." He nodded and went back into the shadows to, what I assumed was get the scroll. He through the scroll at ne and I caught it. I looked down at the scroll finding it oddly wierd. It didnt know why. It clicked in my head and i tried to throw it but it didnt get too far before it detonated. In result the explosion hit my arm and part of my side creating an open wound. I groaned at the instant pain and retracted my arm from the throwing position. I clutched my arm

"Weres the real scroll." I asked leaking venom through my teeth. "You'll have to kill me before I give you anything." He got into a fighting stance.  "That wont be a problem." I widened my feet and stared at the man. He cam running at me witha kunaii to witch I grabbed his wrist and propped my hand on his side/stomach area and threw him over my head into some bookshelves. I crouched on the ground and put my hands in the floor. Vines grew up from the concrete. "Vine Hold jutsu." I muttered as the vines grew stronger and longer they wrapped around the man's arms and legs holding him to the floor. More vines came through the already existing holes as a whispered, "vatana." The vines grew thicker and formed two katana like swords with sharp edges. I grabbed what would be the hilt of the katana and it separated from the vine. I walked up to the man and stood over him. "It cant be.....you....your...your." I looked at his terrified state. "Yes now. Where. Is. The. Scroll." I said as I slowly lowered the katana to his neck. "Its in the pot over by the other bookshelf. Please. Please dont Kilmer me." It didnt matter if he had told me or not I still would have had to kill him. Couldn't have him leaking any information about orochimaru or anything like that. "Cant let you run around after turning your back on orochimaru. I'll do u a favor tho and make it quick." His eyes widened and a tear rolled down his cheek. It broke apart of me but it was either him or me. Orochimaru wouldn't ha e just let it slide that I let a traitor live and I would have been badly punished. I shook my head slighty before sliding my katana horizontally on his throat which brought him an almost instant death.  I got up and walked to the pot sure enough there was a scroll in it I grabbed it and began to walk outside.

I looked up to find a white bird in the sky along with a cracking ball of what seemed to be sand. On top of the white bird I saw a black cloak with read clouds. Akatsuki. The fight seemed to be ending as the sand began to fade away and what looked like the kazekage fell. The bird went and swept the Kazekage out of the sky. I ran to the gate to find sasori. Yeah I knew who they were. Lord orochimaru had us work together a few times. He spotted me. "Ahh I see your here. What for tk stop us." He asked. "No I was retrieving information." His eyes narrowed at the familiar scroll. "Give me that scroll." You looked at him, "as if, if I did that I could be killed."

"Then I'll take it from you."he said as his tail started to sway. "I dont want to fight you sasori." I tucked the scroll away in my pouch. "Then hand me the scroll." In didnt move. "The hard way it is j didnt want it to end like this but you leave me no choice." His tail sped at me and I dive rolled out if the way. I grabbed kunai and threw them at him which did nothing as one sweep of his tail and the were on the ground. My normal tactics wouldn't work because they new most if them so it wouldn't be a surprise. You hadn't mastered moving sand around but it was your only shot at a surprise attack you grabbed 2 kunaii amd a paper bomb. You tied the paper bomb to one kunaii. You threw the regular one as he deflected it with his tail you threw the one with a paper bomb. He wrapped his tail around the area and it protected him from further damage. At this moment she brought up a wave of sand between her and sasori. She held it there as the smoke dissolved. She brought down the wave about cleared. But as she didnt expect the metal tail broke through the sand and headed straight to her. It was not perfectly aim due to her being unviable but it was aimed to hit her before she could move out the way. The tail pierced her thigh amd went through it. He pulled it back and there was a hole in her leg now. She collapsed about and the world started getting fuzzy she saw a figure move towards her. "Sleep well (y/n)." And with that she blacked out.

Kakashi pov

We were on our way to the sand village when the sand storm hit. It was just now clearing up and we continued heading there. We were running when the village walls began to appear which motivated us to speed up. We made it there and now were running throught the village when we spotted a body in a cloak laying in the sand. We approached slowly and naruto rolled the body, he removed the hood and I gasped. 'It couldn't be. Could it.....no.....she died......but shes laying right here.' "Wow it looks like (y/n)." Naruto said. Sakura punched him "idiot that is (y/n)." She also looked on in disbelief. "But how." I whispered in total shock. "Look I dont know what's going on here but she looks hurt are we sure shes even breathing." Temari had a point she looked beat up pretty bad. Check now frack out later. I walked up to her and checked her neck for a pulse. "Its soft but its there." I picked her up. "Let's go we have to continue the mission. And with that i turned and ran.

Nobody said a word as we arrived. I was told to put her in the room next to kankuro. I did that and walked into the other room. "You. I'm going to kill you white fang of the leaf." I heard. I looked up to see an old woman running at me. My eyes widened and naruto jumped in to defend me. "What are you doing lady. Look I dont know who you are but I wont let you lay a finger on kakashi-sensei." He said. An older man walked over to the lady. "Calm down sis take a better look. That means not the white fang. Plus you and I both know he died a long time ago you were devastated when you heard the news." He told her. She looked at me and I gave a close eyed smile and rubbed the back of my neck. "Oh right haha sorry bout that."

Sakura worked on kankuro and eventually we left so she could work. We sat on a bench in the hallway and I pulled out my book and began to "read" when I  reality I was thinking about the person who looked exactly like my dead wife. It couldn't have actually been her right. As I read I heard naruto "kakashi-sensei that lady really looked like (y/n) didnt she." He looked at me and i nodded. "You think it's really her that she didnt really die because that would be cool." He once again looked at me and I shrugged my shoulders but in my head I was thinking about just that. "Why are you acting like you dont care I thought you loved (y/n) this could be here and you couldn't give two shits what's wrong with you" I closed my book a d slammed it on the bench next to me. "Of course I care naruto but it's not the easiest thing to wrap my head around. I've been morning the loss of her for over 3 years and still am not over it and now your telling me that there is a possibility that she could have been alive this whole time and I didnt know it. That means I let her sl I'll p through my fingers and that's not ok with me. I'm not covering any of it because we dont know if it's her or not yet a d we are on a very important mission that I cant risk. We've done well by bringing her here so sakura can look her over and right now there isn't another thing we can do!" I all but yelled out. I hadn't realized it but at some point I had started crying. Dried my tears and looked away. "I'm sorry sensei."

Timeskip

Sakura had finished with kankuro and he was awake now she was in the room with the look alike (y/n) and we were anxiously waiting outside the room. Sakura came out and looked at me and naruto. "Its definitely (y/n) she had a birthmark right above her left ankle as an identification. She was badly hurt but she should aake up anytime soon." I felt my world callaps and rise at her words. She was alive. Me naruto and sakura went back in the room and waited to see if she would wake up.

Moments later she began to twitch and we all surrounded her bed. Her eyes opened and she tried to blink away the brightness. She looked at our faces and then clutched her head in pain. She looked up through the pain at us. "Naruto..........sakura." she looked at them before turning to me. I was worried about what was happening to her. She clutched her head in even more pain as she cried out. "Kakashi." She remembered me. "-sensei." And she passed out. Why did she call me sensei it wasnt necessary was she joking. "What's going on sakura." I said reaching a high level of worry. Sakura's hands began to glow and paused at her head. "She seems to have gone through alot of mental pain suddenly I cant be sure why tho but shes slipped into a coma. Theres no way I can get her out of it myself she has to get out on her own."

No I'm not dead hahaha. I just dont feel like sitting down amd writing somtimes and I dont have alot of freetime with my practices and family things amd all that. But y'alls comments make me want to write so i do it for yall. Sorry it's so late in the night but I promised a reader I would write today so I had to do it. In fact yall can than that reader for this update along with me you know. But she commented and I replied and we began to talk so I asked if she wanted a chapter and she said yes. So if yall comment I'll be more likely to update soon and I might even ask you if you want an update as a reply to your comment. Also there are some people who vote for the chapters and I appreciate them so much like there was a girl who read the book yesterday and today and caught up and j knew that because she vited for every chapter so shout out to her I dont remember your name but I did see that in my notifications so yeah.
