Eli x teacher!reader ~part 2~

A/N: So, here's part 2! ...I feel like I made it too cheesy. Well I hope you like it anyways!

Btw, just a heads up: Updates for this book might slow down a little since the amount of reading I have to do for my classes is pilling up into nearly ungodly amounts so please bear with me! I won't stop writing, so there no need to worry about that, probably, plus I like writing these for you guys. It's just that I have other stuff that demand my attention as a student in college.

Anyways, sorry, here's the story~

"A-Ayase-san? Is there something you need?"

You anxiously twirl a pen in one hand as your blonde student stands before you in the teacher's room.

Well, you say 'student' but the relationship between the two of you now is more complicated than that.

"Honoka asked me to hand these to you. She said she had to run home and help her parents at their shop, but she also said that it was important to give this to you today."

"Ah, I see. These are related to the graduation ceremony then?"

"I haven't looked at them but I assume so."

She hands you some papers, your hands brushing against each other, causing a small blush to light your face.

"Th-thank you, Ayase."

She smiles at you, amused as she bows and excuses herself from the room.

You turn back to your desk and try to focus on the various papers scattered on top. 'Try' being the key word.

Ever since that day a few months ago in the student council room, you've been internally more honest about your feelings regarding the student council president.

You could now honestly admit to yourself that you were in love with Eli Ayase.

That still didn't change the fact that she was your student though, so you've still been trying to distance yourself a little from her, at least on school grounds.

You've been on a few dates with her, much to your embarrassed delight, but you both have agreed to only be affectionate when you're both sure no one else is around since you're still worried about both you job and Eli's future.

Still, those dates were wonderful. You were surprised to learn about her fear of the dark, though, as amusing as it was. You even asked her to speak a little Russian, which was really cool, although it ended up turning you on a little, much to your embarrassment. She still comments on how red your face was then.

"(L/n)-sensei."

You turn and see one of the other teachers holding out some files to you.

"Here are the files you were looking for."

Ah, right. You still have a lot of work to do. Graduation is coming up after all.

You reach out to grab the files, "Thank you, sensei."

xXx

You sighed, as you looked up from the folder you were reading. You decided finalizing some graduation files in the teacher's office after classes were over. However, there was more to look over than you realized so now it's evening and you're the only one left in the room, if not the school.

You mentally scold yourself for staying so late as you continue reading the file, making sure everything was correct before finally moving onto the last file.

You open it and smile when you realize it's Eli's file.

The graduation ceremony was in a few days, meaning that the graduates themselves, Eli included, haven't been in school for a little over a week since they've finished their testing.

The teacher's have been busy grading them while you've been given the extra task of going over the graduate's files to make sure there are no discrepancies and that everyone can graduate. You never expected to feel so lonely knowing you won't get to see your blue eyed, blonde haired student around school anymore.

You wonder when you'll see her again. Maybe you could send her a message? Ah, but maybe she's busy, she's still young after all...

You're just about to continue reading the file when you feel arms wrap around your neck and breathing brush your ear, causing you to tense up.

"You work too much, sensei."

"A-A-A-Ayase?!" You hear her chuckle as she plants a soft kiss on your neck, causing your face to explode in color, "We-we're still on school grounds...!"

"Don't worry, (Y/n). We're the only ones here since you're working so late~"

She releases her hold on you allowing you to turn around to face the girl that's been on your mind since you last saw her.

"What are you doing here Ay--Eli?"

"I came to check up on you," she gives you a pointed look, "since it seemed like you didn't see any of my messages on your phone, or checked to see if your phone rang."

You blush and remember that you not only kept your phone on silent, but also left it inside your bag since you didn't want to to distract yourself with constantly wondering if you should message the blonde in front of you or not.

"U-uh, I..."

"It's alright, but you have to make it up to me." She grabs the file in your hand and places it on your desk. She then moves to take your hand and your bag as she pulls you out of your seat.

"Firstly, let's go get dinner tonight. I missed you, you know. Then, you have to promise to meet me on the rooftop after the graduation ceremony." She turns to face you as she gently pulled you along with her outside, "Only then will I forgive you, okay?"

Under the growing darkness of the sky outside, you marvel at how much at ease you feel with this girl pulling you along. You feel yourself begin to smile.

"Okay." You tighten your grip on her hand as you move to walk beside the tall blonde, "I missed you too. A lot..."

You see a light blush light her face as she smiles back, "I'm glad. Let's go eat? I'll let you choose the restaurant."

You lightly chuckle, "I know you want to go to that restaurant that offers that chocolate cake you love, you don't need to hold back."

The blue eyed girl sheepishly rubs the back of her head with her free hand, "Y-you don't mind?"

You quickly survey your surroundings and, once satisfied that no one else is around, place a quick kiss on Eli's lips, catching her off guard.

"I won't mind. As long as I get to feed it to you~"

Eli's face lights up a bright red as you snuggle closer to her, both thankful for the darkness of the evening and worried that Eli might start getting scared.

"...O-okay."

You plant another kiss on her, this time on her cheek as the two of you walk towards the restaurant, the both of you looking forward to spending some time together.

xXx

You stood on the roof, wondering why Eli wanted to meet up with you here. You assume that she wants to tell you something, but you're not sure what she wants to say here, of all places.

The graduation ceremony was...interesting. It certainly was unique, thanks to the new student council president, Honoka Kousaka, but you're not surprised that the leader of μ's thought to end her speech with a song. It was a nice touch that lead to most of the graduating class in tears, even Eli, you noticed.

Your thoughts wander to what Eli could possibly to say. Your mind takes a dark turn as you wonder if she wants to end things here. You've heard stories of teachers that got involved with their students who ended up breaking things off after graduation for various reasons, usually because they either only saw it as a phase or because they wanted to move on.

You feel anxiety and fear take over as you try not to think about how much better she could do or how much you could hold her back. You try not to think of all the other, better, people out there for her or how this could be a phase that she'll grow out of. You try not to think about how much you've fallen in love with her and how much it'll hurt.

You've just about nearly brought yourself to tears when you hear the door open.

"Ah, you're here. Sorry for the wait, (Y/n)."

You slowly turn around as you take a few deep breaths. The blue eyed graduate hurries over to you and takes your hand.

"(Y/n), I ju--are you okay?" Her hands move to wipe a few tears that have escaped and were running down your face, "What's wrong?"

You shake your head, "It's...I'm just worried, and maybe a little sad th-that I won't see you here anymore..."

The blonde softly smiles at you and kisses your forehead.

"E-Eli we--"

"I've just graduated, remember sensei?"

You close your mouth shut and lightly pout, tears still glistening in your eyes. She grabs both of your hands and raises them to her chest as she moves closer to you. A look of worry and anxiety flashes across her face.

"Um, I was planning on asking you to come to the student council room in-instead but I knew that there was going to be students there, s-so that's why I decided to give you this here."

She lets go of one of your hands and rummages through her pocket before pulling out a plain silver ring.

Your mouth gapes open as Eli blushes, explaining, "I know we're still pretty young, and I-I'm going to college, so I won't propose y-yet but um. I want you to have this promise ring. I'm sure that you're worried about me, and about us, so I want this t-to at least alleviate some of that and I---?!"

You pull your hands away and instead wrap them around the taller girl's neck, tears falling freely down your face.

"(Y-y/n)?"

"I was afraid," you bury your face into her neck as you admit the feelings you kept bottled up inside, "at first it was because of my feelings for you, a student, and what you meant to me. Then I became afraid because you're a graduating student and I wa--...I'm afraid you were going to leave me behind."

You feel her arms wrap around your waist as she pulls you closer, one hand gently stroking your hair.

"(Y/n)..." She pulls away and uses a hand to to brush your bangs away from your face, "I promised before, didn't I? That this was going to be worth it. I don't intend to be a liar."

A smile tugs your face as your blue-eyed love takes your hand.

"May I?"

You nod as more tears fall down your face. She slowly puts the promise ring on your finger.

"I'm sorry you'll have to settle for this, but just you wait. One day....just, please wait for me until then."

Your faces move towards each other, meeting in a soft, loving kiss halfway.

You eventually pull away and smile, "You're still taking full responsibility for whatever happens, Eli."

Your partly Russian lover smiles and plants a kiss on your forehead, hands intertwined.

"I know, (Y/n)-sensei."
