1 year after Love Affair...

A title called Rose and the Lownote talk show appeared on every tv that was on in the afternoon. A pale pink troll with light blond hair wearing a beautiful purple top and designer jeans was sitting in a chair next to an orange funk troll with purple hair and red dreadlocks wearing a purple jacket and purple pants as they looked at the camera. ''Welcome back to the Rose and Lownote tv show, and we are here to talk to the couple who knew each other since being kids, fell in love but they pursued different careers, but fate was destin to bring them together welcome James and Mya Starr!'' Rose said loudly clapping.

The audience clapped as the camera aimed at the cute young couple holding hands as they came out and shook and hugged Rose and Lownote as they sat down. ''Thanks for having us.'' Mya said smiling at them.

''It's an honor to have you guys on here.'' Rose said.

''And explain to us how you guys came to break up and get back together.'' Lownote said curious.

James smoothed back his red hair. ''Well, we have known each other for years since middle school and we knew the instant we met we were each other's soulmates.'' James said smiling fondly at his wife.

''In high school we decided to see if it was meant to be, so we dated other trolls for a year to see if they were the ones and it never stuck so in 10th grade we started dating and were each other's first and graduated together. I wanted to pursue a career in being a lawyer.'' Mya said.

''And I wanted to be a chem major, the places we were going for college were far apart so we decided to work on our careers and once we got our degree if we were single at that time we would meet back up and see if we still had those feelings.'' James said smiling.

''We met back up a couple years ago and we still had the same feelings as before and we were both single.'' Mya blushes happily.

''We are so happy for you guys, anyway, tune back tomorrow that is all for the day.'' Rose said to the camera.

In the back to the side Poppy Bell smiled happy to hear the love story and began thinking about her life. Her and Branch had a story similar to James and Mya only they were pulled away by her dad and now ex-husband but found each other again.

She saw Rose and the couple move to the back. ''So, what made you guys decide to get married a month after meeting up?' Didn't you think it was too fast?'' Asked Rose.

James side hugged Mya. ''No, I mean we spent our lives trying to see if we were really meant to be and after going through all of that and meeting back up, why wait?'' You never know how much time you guys have left together.'' Poppy was listening to this and smiled.

''Thank you so much it was a great pleasure to have you fix my hair and makeup and I wish you and Branch the best.'' Mya said turning to Poppy and hugging her.

Rose came over. ''You were great Poppy what do think of the job so far?''

''It's great, I love it. I'm sorry to hear about you and Lownote.'' Poppy said.

''Eh, I guess me and him weren't meant to be.'' Rose shrugged. Poppy hugged her and pulled away. ''So, on a different note, when is the wedding?'' Rose asked.

Poppy looked at the engagement ring on her finger. ''We haven't picked a date yet, still working on it.''

''Well, all in good time. See you tomorrow, Poppy.'' Rose said as she left.

Poppy nodded. Her job was great, she could work whenever she wanted which was nice for her so she could help Branch if he needed it since they owned the company, and she would help out from time to time.

She caught a cab and laid back as it took her home, she got out and paid the driver as she walked inside as she got to the door unlocking it and went in. ''Hey Branch!'' She called but got no answer.

She knew he was still at work, she went into the kitchen to make something to eat, while making a sandwich and she noticed her engagement ring that shone in the light. She smiled as she thought back to what Rose asked and what the answer was. Getting engaged to Branch was a dream come true for Poppy, other then reuniting with her love.

Flashback a year ago....

It was a beautiful night as Branch and Poppy went back to visit their hometown taking in the sites as they walked around.

''This feels like a dream come true, and I'm with the love of my life.'' Poppy squealed as she laced her fingers with Branch's.

''It does I wouldn't want it any other way and I'm never letting you go.'' He said as he pulls her in front of him and kisses her deeply on the lips tilting his head slightly.

She kisses back and wraps her arms around his neck as their lips continued touching.

''This year has been the best.'' She smiled pulling out of the kiss.

Branch smiled and felt a bit nervous and hoped that tonight would not be a night for her to forget. They bought a couple of ice cream cones and walked to the park as they sat under the tree like they use to do after school.

While eating Poppy looked up. ''Who knew this tree would be so special to us?" She asked.

''I did the minute we met under it.'' Branch said with a soft smile and half lidded gaze.

They finished their ice cream and laid down looking at the sky as the stars started coming out. ''Peaceful and perfect.'' Poppy sighed happily.

''Almost perfect.'' Branch said looking at her.

Poppy sat up same as Branch as she looked at him. ''What could make this more perfect?'' She asked.

Branch stood up and took her hand helping her up. ''Poppy, I need you to close your eyes.''

Poppy closed her eyes curiously. ''Branch what is this about?''

''Open them.'' Poppy opened her eyes and gasped as she saw Branch on one knee holding a ring in front of her.

''Poppy Bell, I love you with all my heart and I know we are going to be together no matter what. I want you to be my wife, I was stupid for letting you slip away but that will never happen again. I know you were in a bad marriage full lies and abuse but I pinky promise that will never happen in our marriage or relationship. I will do whatever it takes to make you happy, my whole world, please marry me.'' Branch said with tears in his eyes as he held her hand emotion pouring out of his voice.

''YES! YES! YES! I WILL MARRY YOU BRANCH TIMBER!'' She shouted with happy tears falling from her face. He placed the ring on her finger, and she tackles him in a hug as he held her close feeling happy and excited as they shared a passionate kiss under their tree and the night sky.

Flashback over...

Poppy smiled at the thought as she ate her sandwich. Even though they were engaged they hadn't found a date yet for the wedding or talked about it. The pink troll knew Branch was giving her space and letting her plan it on her time when she was ready. She loved Branch and wanted to marry him, so why was she putting it off?

The door opened and Branch came in.

''Hey Poppy.'' He greeted shutting the door.

She smiles brightly as she ran over and tackled him in a hug as soon as he set his back on the table, and he stumbled back a bit wrapping his arms around her waist as she plants kisses all over his face.

''Branch *kiss* I'm *kiss* so *kiss* happy *kiss* your *kiss* back!'' She said between kisses.

Branch grins and catches her lips in a kiss and lifted her up in his arms a bit. It was magic for them no matter how many times they kissed or had sex; it was like the first time all over again with that special spark.

Her hands went to his cheeks as they kissed, and he slowly places her down pulling out of the kiss. ''Damn I love the way you greet me.'' He grins catching his breath.

''I love it when you come home.'' She said booping him on the nose.

''I'll always come back to you.'' He said cupping her face as they rub foreheads together.

''I picked up our favorite on my way home.'' He said picking up a bag and taking it to the kitchen bar table.

''You brought home pasta?'' She guessed excitedly.

''Yep, your favorite. I hope that is, ok?'' He asked thinking he should have called first to make sure she wasn't making anything.

''You know me so well Branch.'' Poppy said getting silverware down.

''And you know me.'' Branch replied as he got the food out and sat down.

''So how was work?'' She asked looking at him.

''It was ok, going over a lot of reports and stuff. What about you?'' He asked his attention on her.

''It was great! There was this couple that has a story similar to us only they broke apart by careers.'' Poppy said.

''Sounds like a rip off of us, we did it first though.'' He said taking her hand. ''Yeah, we did.'' Poppy smiled as they ate in peaceful silence.
