Moonlight shined brightly on the earth and underneath the couple entwining their hands and legs dipped in the water. Waves touched their legs. The couple brightly smiled seeing the moon front of them which shined to brightness.

The couple were sitting and cuddling each other. The girl was sitting between boy legs and cuddling against his chest. Their smile didn't fade away but got wider and wider.

The boy kept pecking the girl's hair numerous of times making the girl smile.

The girl turns lifts her head up and looks at her boyfriend who was rubbing his thumb on their entwined hands.

Girl : Neil..

Neil stops rubbing his thumb and looks at avni.

Neil : isn't this beautiful..

He said pointing the view front of them. Avni nodding her head and turns herself around and comfortable sat between his legs facing towards him. She immediately wraps her arms around his neck and lovingly stares him.

Avni: Neil I love you so much..

She said spreading her arms out making Neil chuckle at her. Neil pulls her close and kissed her forehead.

Neil : I love you too..

He said caressing her cheek making her smile.

Avni : everything is so beautiful... I don't want this time to go.... I really love this.. under moonlight us sitting and cuddling each other.. it is so peaceful...

Neil : it is beautiful because you made it beautiful with your presence.. your presence around me makes everything so beautiful.

Avni smiles and pecks his  cheek making him smile.

Avni: you're so sweet Neil.

Neil : avni don't pull my cheeks.. it hurts..

Neil rubs his cheek and glares avni who rolled her eyes at his drama. Avni back faced and sat between Neil's legs and stares at the sea which looked beautiful because of the moonlight.

Neil pecks back of het hair and entwined their hands again and rested his chin on avni's shoulder.

They enjoyed the silence between them. Waves kept hitting their legs which was dipped in the sea. Their eyes fixed on the moonlight when avni lifting her head towards Neil spoke.

Avni : Neil..

Neil : hmm..

Avni: are you excited for tomorrow?

Neil's lips curved into beautiful smile hearing the word tomorrow. Neil looking down stares avni rubbing his palm on Avni's hair.

Neil : I can't express what I am feeling about tomorrow. Finally my wait will be over tomorrow avni...

Avni smiles and leans back to his chest and starts drooling I love you on the sand which was noticed by Neil who didn't say anything but smiled.

An hour later Neil looks at avni who was engrossed enjoying herself the silence of the beach.

Neil : avni! We should go back home. You have to wake up early too.

Avni : I love this Neil.. I don't want to go..please little more let's stay here.

Neil nodded his head and took his phone out. He saw the time which was 3am in the morning. Neil kept his phone back in his pie by and looks at avni who didn't had heart to leave.

Neil : we should go back avni.. it's too late.

Avni poutingly lifting her head looks at Neil who bobbed his head.

Avni : can we come to beach often during night time.. I really love this.. moonlight and us. Please.

Neil : whenever you wished to come, we will come here. Come let's leave.

Neil and avni got up and starts dusting their clothes.. Neil held Avni's hand and pecks her forehead.

Neil : let's go avni..

He took step to leave but stopped as avni pulled him back. He turns around and gave confuse look up avni.

Neil : why did you pull me back? Don't you want to go home?

Avni didn't say word but moves to close to him making him more confuse but all his confusion vanished as avni came close to him wrapping her arms around his neck. Neil open his notary to say word but couldn't because avni placed her lips on his making him startled and shocked. Neil's eyes wider open realising Avni's action.. he comes back to earth as avni nibbled his lower up.. Neil realising what just happened he kissed her back..

They broke kiss and rested their head against each other's head. The silent once again was absorbed between them.

Neil : I love you avni..

Avni smiles and lifts her face up.

Avni: and I love you more than you can imagine.

Neil smiles and cupping her face planted a soft kiss on the forehead.

Neil : we should leave now.. I don't want to get scold from our parents.

Avni giggles hearing Neil but still bobbed her head.

They wore their shoes and holding hands made their way to Neil's car. They settled in car and Neil turning the radio on starts driving to Metha mansion.

Avni resting her head on Neil's shoulder. Smile didn't leave their faces. Neil increased the car speed and looks at avni who was trying heard not to sleep. He smiles and softly calls her name out.

Neil : avni.. you can sleep.. I'll wake you up once we reach Metha mansion.. sleep..

He said patting her hair with his left hand as he was driving with his right hand.. avni immediately nodding her head closes her eyes and slept hugging Neil's left shoulder. Neil pecking her hair focused on the road.

Neil parks the car front of Metha mansion and turns looking at avni who was cuddle up clinging to his shoulder. He smiles and pecks her forehead.

Neil : wake up avni... wake up..

Avni slowly opens her eyes and looks at Neil. She yawned making Neil smile.

Avni : have we reached?

Neil: yes we have.. come on now get up and go inside... and straight into room and sleep.

Avni yawning covering her mouth nodded her head. She took her bag and comes out of the car followed by Neil who rushed to her side and looks at her.

Neil cupping her face and kissed her forehead.

Neil: good night. Have sweet sleep.

Avni : good night Neil.

Avni pecking Neil's cheek rushed inside Metha mansion whereas Neil shaking his head sat back in the car and drove to khanna mansion.

Next morning there was lots of hustle going in Metha mansion... everyone one was running there and there expect one person who was sleeping peacefully ..

Dayavnti who was kitchen looks at Neela who was making breakfast.

Dayavnti: Neela is avni still sleeping?

Neela looks at dayavnti and nodded her head.

Neela : yes maa. I went to her room but she was sleeping so I didn't wake her up.. I'll wake her up later..

Dayavnti nodded her head understanding Neela's words.

In Avni's room.. avni was sleeping all cuddle up with duvet when her phone rang making her groan in sleep.. avni stretching her hand to bed side table picks the phone up and brought near her ear.

Avni : he...llo..

Anyone could tell how sleepy she was the way she spoke over the call. Soon as she heard other side voice her sleep flew away and jerking herself sat on bed resting her back to headboard.

Avni : hello Neil... good morning.. how come you called me this early morning?

Neil chuckles other side.

Neil : good morning avni.. it's not morning. It is afternoon..

Avni got shocked and her eyes travelled on the clock which was showing the time 1 o'clock.

Avni : woh.... I didn't sleep last night so didn't realise.

Neil : I can understand.. it's fine to me.. now carefully listen to me.. go and fresh up, have breakfast then we talk. Okay!

Avni : okay... bye!

Neil : bye!

Anvi kept her phone back on the table and got down the bed. She walks to her cupboard and taking her clothes went to fresh up.

In khanna mansion Neil after ending call went to meet his parents... he walks to their room and saw door lightly open.. he knock and waits outside.. he got inside the room as he heard swetha voice..

He walks inside the room and saw Prakash reading file and swetha leaning herself to headboard.. he walks to bed and sitting comfortable on bed laid his head in swetha lap.. swetha opens her eyes and smiles seeing Neil..

She starts ruffling his hair.

Swetha : how is my son?

Neil looks at swetha and smiled.

Neil : perfect mom... I miss lying in your lap..

Swetha : even I missed my son... what's going on? Are you excited for tonight?

Neil : yes mom but I'm also nervous...

Swetha looks at Prakash who settled beside Neil and looks at them.

Prakash: nervous? Why is Neil Khanna nervous?

Neil : I don't know dad... how will I manage the new responsibilities?

Prakash: don't think too much Neil... enjoy the moment.. everyone has new set of responsibility doesn't mean we should not be happy and live the moment. Everything will be good and best.. trust us on that..

Neil : dad I trust you both..

Prakash and swetha smiled at Neil.

Swetha : I still can't believe it you will be married within few months.. today is your engagement then few months later you will be married man.... my Tillu grew up so quick.. time flew so quick..

Neil : mom... I'm still your Tillu... I'm not married yet...

Swetha : acha ji.. next few months later you will forget your mother..

Neil : never mom... mom I want to ask you something?

Swetha nodded her her head at Neil to continue.. Neil told her something making swetha and Prakash smile brightly.

Prakash: we are so proud of Neil...

Neil : thank you dad.. I won't let you disappoint you both..

Swetha : we know you will never disappoint us...

Neil after talking to them went to his room as he promised to call avni later.

In the evening the venue was decorated with shiny lights and flowers. Both family was present at the venue and welcoming the guests. The couple who was going to get engage today was in separate room with their friends..

Khanna and Metha family welcomed the guests and close relatives of theirs.. they escorted them inside where they found youngster coming down..

Prakash too vidyut and Ali with him whereas Aman went with Ashish..

Neela and swetha starts having conversations with guests when they heard Bebe voice.. they made their way to Bebe and looks at her..

Neela : yes Bebe!

Bebe : every guest we invited has arrived.. within 30 minutes we will start the engagement ceremony.

Swetha and Neela nodded their head..

All guests were arrived at the venue and was eagerly waiting for the couple..

Neela and dayavnti went to get avni along with swetha and Bebe who also went to bring Neil down..

Swetha and Bebe enters in the room where Neil was and heard boys teasing him.. they smiled and enters..

Bebe : tillu..

Neil turns around and saw his ladies.. he walks to them and bending down took their blessing.. they blessed and hugged him tightly..

Bebe : my handsome grandson... always stay happy..

Neil smiles and looks at swetha who had tears. Neil wipes her tears and nodded as no.. boys immediately left the room leaving them room.. swetha took evil eyes of Neil and blessed him..

Swetha : we should go down..

Neil nodded his head and smilingly follows them to downstairs.

In Avni's room girls were doing her final touch up when they heard Neela voice.. they turns around and saw them..

Neela : my princess...

She said cupping Avni's face and kissing her forehead.

Neela : beautiful princess.. Ashish will cry seeing you like this..

Avni hugs Neela then dayavnti..

After sometimes later Neil holding Avni's shoulder took her downstairs followed by others..

Downstairs everyone was waiting for avni when they heard anklet sound from stairs.. all their gazes turns on stairs and admire avni whereas Neil was lots in Avni's beauty... he stares her without blinking his eyes..

He didn't even notice his friends were giving him teasing look... Neil was brought to earth by vidyut who shook him.. Neil gave him look and turns back to avni who was coming towards him with Neela..

Neela brought avni near to Neil and made her stand beside Neil..

Neil stares avni and thought how beautiful she is...

Soon they were made sit on the sofa which was arrange for them.

Neil smiles and sneaked his arms around Avni's back and starts rubbing it making avni shock and startled at the same time.

Avni: Neil what are you doing?

She whispered in his ears but Neil didn't bother to answer her..

Soon guests starts coming up on the stage and congratulated them.. AvNeil thanked everyone with smile on their faces..

All their friends came up on the stage and hugged AvNeil.

Juhi : congrats guys.. I'm so happy for you both..

AvNeil: thank you juhi..

Neha hugs Neil and congratulated him then Avni.

Aman too congratulated them followed by others too.. they got down the stage and neha with Juhi took the Mike gaining everyone's attention..

Neha : hello avni... I neha khanna welcome you all to Neil khanna and avni Metha engagement ceremony..... we would like to congratulate the couple for their new beginning... we love you both and wish you both have happy life ahead..

Neil and avni smilingly blew flying kiss to neha who smiled at the them..

Juhi : yes we wished you both very happy life ahead... we are so grateful you both finally are going to engage... we have small surprise you both.. hope you will love it..

As Juhi said this the lights were turned off making everyone confuse expect the elders who was aware of the surprise...

AvNeil looks at each other confusingly but their confusion got placed by smile as they heard music..

They turned their gaze at the stage which was set up front or them.. the lights was turned on in the middle flashing on stage where neha, Juhi, Riya, suhneria, Tara, sistara and the boys in position..

They danced on Bollywood mashup making AvNeil smile to brightest..

The dance was about to be over when Juhi and Riya pulled AvNeil on the stage too and danced with them..once the music was over they all hugged each other...

All the guests clapped for them... there was some performance and AvNeil were enjoying themselves...Neil entwined his hand with Avni who didn't had any acknowledge about that..

As the lights was dim for the performance Neil closer moves to avni and whispers something into Avni's ears making her startled...

Neil : breathtaking you look in the darkness... I love you so much..

Avni's cheeks immediately turned into deepest red colour.. she blushed hearing Neil..

Avni looks at him and saw him staring her with all the love..

Avni : Neil..

She was so shy with his gaze on her.. Neil understand her turmoil looked away but didn't stopped being naughty... he snaked his hand to back and starts rubbing there making her breath hitch.. she tried stopping him but nothing came out of her mouth..

Neil kept rubbing his hand on her back when he heard lots of clapping.... he immediately withdrew his hand back making avni giggle at him...

Neil smiles as her giggle directly reached to his heart...

Soon the performances was over.. all the family came on the stage AvNeil....

Neela : maa Bebe should we starts the exchanging rings?

Bebe and dayavnti nodding their head.. AvNeil was made stand facing each other.. neha gave Neil the ring and aman give ring to avni...

Neil holding Avni's hand slips ring into her fingers... he then kissed her knuckles making his friends hoot and cheer for them... avni blushed and bowed her head down...

Neela : princess it's your turn now..

Avni controlling her blush lifts her face up and looks at Neil who smiled and blinks his eyes at her making her heart content.. avni holding his hand slips the ring into his finger making everyone clap for them...

Everyone once again congratulated the new couple.. Neil and Avni's family hugged each other and smiled...

Neil and avni was hugged by their friends.

Soon they all went to have dinner.. avni was sitting on her place when full plate of food came front of her.. she looks up and saw Neil holding the plate.. she brightly smiled...

Avni : Neil..

Neil sat down with plate in his lap and broke the first bite.. he forward to avni who took the bite and starts chewing it.

Neil : I know you was hungry but didn't bother anyone... When your better half is here then why to worry... come have the food..

Avni only could smile at this man front of her who was hers.. Neil fed her and ate himself too in between...

They finished their food while talking and giggling on some random jokes..

After the engagement ceremony guests congratulated the couple once again took their leave.. now only family and friends was at the venue.. both family starts wrapping things up..

Both family bidding bye to each other also left the venue..

In khanna mansion.. everyone retried to their room as they were tired.. Neil changing to night clothes threw himself on the bed and looks at his ring...

He caressed his ring finger and smiled..he kissed the ring finger and stretching his hand took his phone which was kept on charging.. he quickly dialled Avni's number.. the call went on but wasn't answered.. Neil sighed and thought avni might be busy with her family..

Neil was going to keep his phone back when his phone rang flashing Avni's name on the screen.

Neil quickly picks it up and sat on the bed leaning back to headboard.

Neil : hello why didn't you pick my call when I called you?

Avni : hello Neil... I was in washroom Neil... soon as I came to pick the call up,  the call went disconnected...

Neil : oh okay!  All ready to tuck into bed sleep.

Avni : yes... what are you doing?

Neil : I'm in my room and going to sleep.. I thought to call you before sleeping...

Avni : hmm... Neil today was such beautiful day... I don't forget this day....

Neil : obviously we won't forget this day... I think you should sleep avni... you didn't sleep last night too.. I don't you want to be tired tomorrow too...

Avni : yeah.. you too should sleep... good night Neil... love you..

Neil : good night avni... I love you too. Sweet dreams..

Neil ending the call kept his phone back on the side  table and laid back on the bed..

He smiles remembering his best moments with avni in the engagement ceremony.. he closed his eyes and went to dreamland of avni and his..
