Bit of love-struck by that smile, Tai took one more step backward and then rushed out of the stables.

Aleksei glanced at the corner and saw the umbrella she forgot. She was too embarrassed by the whole thing. He walked over to it and picked up her umbrella. He was trying to wrap his head around what had just happened. She was so into it, that he lost all cool at the moment.

Aleksei walked inside the villa, carrying a dark blue umbrella and waltzed into the room in front of Zakhar who was peacefully drinking tea and watching TV.

"Isn't this a beautiful day?" Aleksei pointed outside and a rumble of thunder struck the sky.

Zakhar glanced at him with impatience. Aleksei was carrying a closed umbrella under his arm like a katana that he used to slash numerous enemies with. "My tea is suddenly tasting bitter." Zakhar placed the cup aside and leaned back on the couch. Just where did he put that TV remote?

Aleksei slammed his legs over the coffee table and laughed to himself. "I scored a date with Tai."

"When you left running in this weather I assumed you had a purpose." Zakhar was processing this and then smiled in relief. "Congratulations."

"Thank you." Aleksei smiled proudly. "You know I keep going at his all wrong. I had too little confidence about my personality but Tai, she's just amazing you know. I think she can keep up with me and.." He glanced at Zahar who was violently typing on his phone while nodding his head.

"Oh, I'm listening." He glanced at Aleksei. "I'm just googling the simp definition."

Zakhar erased the text and then put his phone down. "So where are you taking her for a first date?" Zakhar asked.

Aleksei's enthusiasm was back. "I was thinking about the botanical garden since it's the first date. We take a walk, I impress her with the flowers, then I take her to a nice place for lunch and then for a drive before we come back here."

Zakhar was thinking about it. "It sounds nice enough. Did you just come up with this?"

Aleksei snorted. He has been thinking about this from the day he developed his crush. "I have backup plans for all the seasons this opportunity might have taken place."

"Sorry to have doubted that, somehow." Zakhar leaned back into the couch, hearing Aleksei making a move with Tai was making him hope Aleksei could finally move past his fears and traumas.

Tai ran back home getting her hair wet by the time she got back. In all the rush to get back to her villa, she forgot her umbrella. She was anxious and excited, replaying what had happened in the stables, that she almost missed her villa and continued running.

 Upon entering her room she closed the door behind her and dropped to the ground dramatically. She rolled on the ground left and right covering her flushed face.

"No! I'm an adult." She whooshed her hair out of her face and sat up. She was going to handle this maturely. She was just a girl who had casual romance time and then got asked out on a date. She was not going to make a big deal out of this and develop jitters for the weekend. She was going to calmly approach the situation and assess how to behave on this date.

Getting up, she decided it was best to at least have a shower first. She leaned over her cabinet to take a towel out when someone knocked on the door and Diana entered.

"What is it?" Tai asked, taking the towel and closing the cabinet.

"Have you seen the list?" Diana walked over pointing her phone in her face. "We failed Chemistry."

"What?" Tai grabbed her hand looking at the extensive list of students. "How is this possible?"

"I don't know. Look at all these people on the list. I called the professor as soon as I saw this. She was worried about the number of students who did that badly. I personally think there was a glitch in their system."

"So what now?" Tai asked.

Diana sighed. "We have to wait to know, but just in case she's making us retake the test on Monday. She doesn't want any of the students to have issues before graduation."
