|twenty two

yoongi groaned as i lifted up his hood.

"where are we going anyway?" he was complaining like a child.

"just hold on a bit, we'll get there soon."

we ran across the alleyway to avoid the crowded street.

as soon as i saw the restaurant, i quickly pulled him inside the side door.

"jesus christ." he lowered his face mask as he panted.

my eyes scanned all of the booths until i saw the two women.

"mom." she instantly turned towards us.

seeing her face for the first time in years made me want to cry again.

yoongi stayed quiet as he followed me to take a seat.

mrs. min stood up to hug him.

he followed her action and did the same.

my mother pulled me down across from her and held my hand tightly.

"i've missed you so much." she grinned.

"me too." i looked at yoongi's smile.

he looked quite happy to see his mother again even if they didn't always have the best relationship either.

"i've seen you so many times on television, yet it feels surreal that you're in front of me again."

he gave a reassuring look to his mother.

the waiter came over and sat down some drinks.

our parents must have already ordered for us.

"so, how's jungkook?" i almost spit out the tea i had taken a drink of.

"um-" i looked over a yoongi for a minute.

he gave me a look and sassily sipped his tea.

"he's good i guess."

"you guess? aren't you still dating?"

yoongi laughed knowing that i wouldn't know how to answer, but quickly stopped when i pushed him.

"we decided it was for the best to break up."

my mother furrowed her eyebrows.

i looked down at my phone as it started ringing.

it was jungkook.

"you can answer." i nodded.

"what?"

"i'm so fucking sorry."

he had obviously been crying for quite awhile.

"jungkook, are you crying?" i stood up from the seat not wanting to disrupt the meal.

"i'm so fucking sorry, jimin."
