"Everyone will be at lunch right?" Wally asked.

"Yep, I double checked with the whole original team. Unless there is an emergency they will all be there," Dick called from the bathroom where he was brushing his hair.

"You excited?" Wally asked as he walked in and wrapped his arms around his soon to be husband.

"We get to tell some of our best friends that we are engaged. Of course I'm excited," Dick said turning around in Wally's arms.

"You ready to go?" Wally asked.

"Yeah, how do I look?" Dick asked, taking a step away from Wally.

"You look amazing," Wally said and took his fiancee's hand. They both were dressed nicely yet casually. Jeans and button ups. They walked down the stairs of their apartment building until they reached the parking garage.

Half an hour later they were sitting at a small restaurant for lunch waiting for the team to arrive. Dick glanced at Wally and watched as he fidgeted faster than a normal person should be able to. Dick gently set his hand on Wally's thigh as a gentle reminder everything was okay and Wally looked at him and smiled.

"They look really happy," Artemis commented to M'gann as they approached the door to the restaurant.

M'gaan watched the couple from across the room as they entered, "I sense some nervousness coming from Wally. A little bit from Dick too."

M'gann and Artemis sat down across from Wally and Dick. "Hey guys," Artemis said.

"Hey," Dick and Wally responded.

"So you said you had something to tell us?" M'gann asked.

"Can we wait for everyone else to get here?" Wally asked them awkwardly.

After a few more minutes of casual conversation Kaldur and Conner arrived. Finally everyone was seated and ordering some lunch. Dick casually put his left forearm on the table and used his left hand to take his cup of water. It took a couple minutes of very obviously displaying his left hand before the surprisingly oblivious heroes noticed.

Finally light caught the ring and drew M'gann's attention to it. As she recognized what it was she let out a squeal of excitement. Dick smirked a little as he realized she saw it. "Oh my gosh you have an engagement ring!" M'gann squealed out.

After a stunned silence everyone else really noticed and started wishing them congratulations. When dinner was finally over Wally walked the girls out to their car and Dick talked with Conner and Kaldur.

"Dick, I have something else to talk to you about," Kaldur asked after Conner had left.

"Sure, what's up?" Dick asked.

"I'd like you to come back and run the team. I know you've taken a few months off with the move and such but the team needs and frankly wants you back," Kaldur said.

Dick nodded along, "Yeah, just let me talk to Wally first before making a final decision, yknow?" Kaldur nodded and congratulated him again on his engagement.

Finally back at their apartment Dick and Wally collapsed onto their bed. "That was awesome," Dick said with a bright smile.

"They were super sweet. I didnt think M'gann was ever going to let your hand go," Wally said with a laugh as he took Dick's hand and kissed it.

"We do have something else to talk about though," Dick started on a more serious note, "Kaldur asked me to come back to lead the team."

Wally nodded, "Are you ready to go back? Do you want to?"

Dick nodded, "Yeah. The team means a lot to me and they're all asking me to come back."

Wally smiled, "Then go for it. We always said we would go back after a couple months anyways."

"Do you want to go back?" Dick asked Wally.

Wally paused, "Well, yeah. I just dont want you getting hurt. We both know working with the team sometimes puts us into dangerous sometimes worldwide attacks."

"Babe, I love that you care but I can handle myself. You know that," Dick said as he curled up into Wally's side.

"I know...but if you're going back then I am too," Wally said.

"Really? I thought you were just sticking with helping out Central and Bludhaven on occasion?" Dick said surprised.

Wally shrugged his shoulders, "If it is important to you it's important to me. Besides, neither one of us could ever imagine leaving the team for good," Wally said with a smile.
