The tears I shed today

From my memory will never fade,

My heart has been bent and there it will stay

nothing shows as I put up a facade,

The tears I shed afraid to fall

From my fears I run and hide,

My heart a broken and crumbling wall

no one stands by my side,

The tears I shed for you

From the day I walked backwards,

My heart and love was slew

Never did anyone push me forwards,

The tears I shed 

From the day I lost hope,

My heart bleed

Not so small was this slope,

The tears I shed confine me here

From what has been done and said,

My heart will slowly disappear

now all light has fled,

The tears I shed in rage

From countless mistakes made,

My heart locked in an emotional cage

Down the wrong path my tears has strayed

The tears I shed are never few

From countless things I weep,

My heart cries out as the wind blew

Now my tears are the world's to keep
