Chapter 36
Sean
Avery peeked out at us from under Victor's coat. "I'm sorry if I ruined the night," she whispered.
"I'm the one who should apologize," Nate said, his head hanging. "I'm sorry for disrespecting you like that. I'd blame it on alcohol, except I don't drink anymore," he gave a bitter laugh. "You were so kind and I guess my emotions got the better of me. I really am sorry, Avery."
She lifted her head slightly, blinking as she looked at him. Her small hand reached out to him and he took it. "I forgive you. Sorry about the slap, I was so startled and confused. I hope I didn't hurt you."
"No more than I earned," he said gently, then kissed the back of her hand before releasing it. He turned to Gabe, "Can I crash in your room tonight? I don't want to go back to mine and just end up fighting more with Iz."
"Of course," Gabe said with a snicker, "You can be the little spoon."
Nate rolled his eyes and playfully said, "I think I may take up drinking again," as Gabe flipped him off.
Avery was just watching all of us when our eyes met. I held my arms out to her and she kissed Victor's cheek then crawled into my lap. "I've missed you," I whispered in her ear."
"I've missed you too," she said, then kissed me just behind my earlobe. Her delicate lips grazed along my skin, making me hard. "I don't want you to go, but I know you have to."
I groaned when her nails lightly scraped along my chest. "You keep doing that, and we're going to give this entire limo a show they won't forget, Itoshii."
She lifted her head, her lips hovering above mine, and asked, "What does that mean?"
I gently pulled her hair from the bun, letting it spill over her shoulders, and whispered, "Beloved. You, Avery, are my beloved," then I crashed my lips against hers. My fingers gripped her hair as I shifted her body to straddle my waist. I could feel her heart beating rapidly as she moaned into my mouth. I didn't give a damn that they were all watching as I quickly unbuckled my pants. In seconds, I had her panties pushed aside as I slammed upward, feeling her warmth engulf me. She cried out as she threw her head back, a vision of beauty. Her eyes were hooded as she gripped my shoulders and began rolling her hips. I could hear the others groan and grumble as they watched her riding me.
The palm of my hand crashed against her ass, making her squeal, "Sean!" By the third swat, she was panting and moaning as her body began to spasm. Her orgasm was damn near violent as I felt mine building. Our mouths crashed together again, our movements becoming desperate as I slammed upward violently, spilling inside of her. She fell against my chest as we attempted to catch our breath.
"Damn that was hot," Silas groaned. Avery giggled and buried her blushing face. Owen handed me a towel as I gently slid out of her, cleaning her, then myself.
Avery made a strangled noise as panic seemed to cover her face, "Oh shite," she muttered.
"Are you okay?" I asked, "Was I too rough?"
She shook her head, "I...I'm not on birth control." My eyes bulged as both Luke and Victor swore. "I'm sorry, I thought you knew, and then...you felt so good and I just..."
I cupped her face, "Shh, just take a breath, Itoshii, it's okay. I'm the one who should apologize. I didn't ask, but you're right, it felt damn good," I smiled.
"But what if..."
"Then we celebrate unless you don't want children now," I replied.
"I want children, I mean, but we are just beginning this relationship. What if you change your mind, or meet someone else?" Her fingers tightened around my arm slightly.
I rubbed our noses together, "Not going to happen. The odds are not likely that you conceived, but not impossible. Just relax, everything will work out the way it is meant to be."
"He's right, love," Victor said. "We aren't going anywhere unless you tell us to. Having children is your decision, but I for one am a fan of the idea."
"Here, here," several of the others said as she giggled.
"You do realize we'd have our own sports team of kids, right?" she laughed, then kissed my cheek, "and you have to deliver all of them."
I grinned, "As long as I get to practice often, I'm completely on board with this idea." She slapped my arm playfully, rolling her eyes as I told North, "Sorry, man. I guess that makes you number eight because seven is definitely my lucky number."
He gave her a predatory look, "No worries, Sean. I've always been a fan of saving the best for last." I felt her shiver under his gaze as he chuckled, never looking away.
Owen
I had the driver take us in through the private entrance. Sean held Avery in his arms as we entered the penthouse elevator. "I should head to Gabe's," Nate said, trying to avert his eyes.
"Stay," I told him. "I don't think you need to be alone right now."
His eyes glanced at the fully stocked bar and nodded. "Yeah, probably not. I'm gonna grab some water," he said and walked to the kitchen.
I asked Gabe, "Is he going to be okay?"
"Yeah, he's been sober for years, but you're right, that bitch pushed all his buttons tonight. They've been having a rough time for a couple of years now and it isn't getting any better. She wasn't supposed to come for the event, but she must have changed her mind at the last minute."
"I talked him into staying for now, but I also don't want to make him uncomfortable after Sean's little show in the limo," I explained.
"Little show, my ass," Gabe snorted, "That was a fucking masterpiece. She's every bit as sexy as she was back then, hell even more now. I had no clue she was a virgin or underage."
"She had just lost her grandmother and was all alone. She doesn't have any family left." Gabe frowned, his eyes drifting to her as she laughed at something Kota had said. She was wearing one of Sean's shirts now, the globes of her ass peeking out from beneath it. I loved seeing her so relaxed with all of us. "It's like she was just waiting for us to find her," I said. "I mean it's only been a month, but it feels so natural."
"Yeah, you guys all look like you've been together for years. Gotta admit, I'm jealous," Gabe smiled softly. "So how are you guys making it work? Is she moving here or are all of you going to Ireland?"
"Honestly, we haven't gotten that far. She's in her last year at Trinity. Kota's her damn advisor," I laughed. "She's finishing her doctoral thesis in education. Sean's leaving for the Ukraine next week. He won't be back until mid-March. North and Silas will be leaving until then as well. Luke is planning to go back for a brief visit but will return in March when she takes trimester break. I'm knee-deep in my practice and hell, Victor's the only one in Ireland. His grandmother's house is only a mile or so down the road from her house."
"Wow, that's a lot to figure out," he breathed.
"Yeah, Kota told her to focus on school and let us deal with the details. We plan on keeping up with visits and making a decision on where we will stay after she graduates. None of us want her stressed and failing. She's come too far already on her own."
He put his hand on my shoulder, "I hope it all works out for you guys. She's one of a kind, Owen."
I paused and asked quietly, "And what about you? Did you and Victor resolve your issues?"
"Yeah, he explained what his parents were planning. I think we're good now."
"I meant the other issue."
He looked up at me, his eyes widening slightly. "He told you?"
I shook my head, "No. Victor never said a word. I found out years after you'd left. When I sold the manor house in Charleston, I ran across old letters. I know I shouldn't have read them, but I did, well only one, but it was enough to get the idea of what the two of you felt and were struggling with. I'm sorry we weren't there for either of you back then," I admitted. "Has he told Avery?"
Gabe nodded, his eyes misty, "Yeah. He said he didn't feel right keeping it from her but wanted to let me decide about telling all of you. He said he still loves me." He took a ragged breath, squeezing his hands together. "But look at all of you...I can't get in between this. He's happier than I've ever seen him, hell, all of you are."
"Guess I have to tell you the same thing I told North," Luke said, coming up behind us. "Tell her. Let her decide. That's what we all did and look at us now. There's no law that says you can't love more than one person, Gabe." Gabe looked at him with surprise and started to open his mouth to respond, when Luke grumbled, "Oh fuck it," then grabbed the back of his neck and crashed their mouths together.
When Luke pulled back, Gabe's eyes were glazed and he was speechless. I heard Victor chuckle, "Took him long enough."
"Oh hush, I don't see you and Luke being very open either," Avery admonished him. That had all of us staring in confusion. "You can't seriously tell me no one else noticed the damn attraction between them," she said, waving her hands. "I mean good grief, it only took me about ten minutes during the holiday break to figure it out. Then I saw the way they both looked at Gabe. I love all of you, but feck, you guys can be really oblivious," she giggled.
"Says the woman who didn't realize I was head over heels in love with her," Kota teased as she blushed and rolled her eyes.
Gabe was still standing there, fingers to his lips in shock when Nate boomed, "Holy fuck...he's silent! Quick, someone write this down!" Gabe growled and flipped him off, making all of us bust up laughing.
Regaining his voice, he pointed to Luke, Victor, and Avery. "I do believe I need a private word with the three of you."
They stood and Avery took Gabe's hand as they stepped out, walking toward their suite. Well, that's going to be one hell of a conversation.
