I had to wear something I don't normally wear over my suit.
I put on my old communicator and walked out of the trim to meet the team awake and going over my mission.
"Only Conner and I are going" I said walking to the computer, "you guys need to heal after the beating blue gave you" I said.
"But-"
"Our father means everything to us we should be the ones to save him.." Conner said.
We sped out of the hall and walked to the next press conference. With our glasses on, Conner had a tux on over his new suit I made him.
"And so my new human friends our new champion! Blue beetle!" The stupid reach leader said.
I raised my hand,"ah yes" .
"Why is it the justice league didn't protect us not come to this meeting?" I asked walking foward.
Blue stepped down and wrapped his arm around my waist.
Conner was glaring bullets at him, "well I guess war world was to much to handle for them" beetle whispered in my ear, "but I would do anything for you" .
My brother followed as I was lead to the main vessel, "you see this is were we conduct our helping experiments".
Beetle was getting to close to me, but I had to play it off.
"And this is black and green beetle!", my jaw dropped as a large black armored male looking beetle smiled at me.
"What is this meat doing here?" He groaned to the guy quietly.
"Wow look at the way he is articulated, the spikes and the wings!" I 'gaped' at the dark and big version of blue.
"Nevertheless she is welcome." The beetle said changing his mind.
I looked back at blue and he had a tank of jealousy on his face.
"Anyways let me show you the plant reasoning!" The green leader said, blue followed close behind.
Conner was in the vents, I could hear his heart beating.
I heard screams....not from super hearing but from human hearing.
"What was that..." I asked, "oh it's just some testing!"

After the whole tour they finally decided to show me all the secrets they showed due to the fact I told them I will be a part of the reach.
"That scream earlier was from one of your champions...I believe it was superman" he smiled opening a door,
My Heart dropped to my feet.
I saw my own brother in the capsule as well as my father.
I was holding back tears, watching them get shocked.
They have the weakness of kryptonite, since I'm part human I don't have a weakness.
I could feel my left hand heat up and my right cool down.
"This is were we test if they gain any abilities to help themselves other then the ones they posses.." Blue said pulling me into his chest. I will do anything to get my family out of there...
"Are you going to test things on me..." I asked, "it depends on what you think a test is..." A smirk grew on beetles face.
I got out of his arms and looked at the computers, "kryptonian lighting....harmless to human life forms" I quoted.
"Indeed.....now if you don't mind we are going to shock you with this to make sure your not one of them" a green shock went through my body...I felt nothing no pain at all.
