Missing

Rain drops poured down in sheets from the ominous clouds above. Ichimatsu knelt down in his usual spot on the floor in the corner and sighed as he gazed out the window, worrying.

"Looks like Jyushimatsu is getting soaked, huh, Ichi?" Osomatsu said as he flipped through a magazine on the floor.

"So careless...." Ichimatsu thought as he glared at his four brothers, scattered about their room. " I bet they wouldn't notice if Jyushimatsu died, would they? But then again, it wouldn't be hard to realize that he was gone. Especially since he's always so upbeat, ready to take on what the world gives him...with a huge smile on his face..."

Ichimatsu made a moaning sound for, "yes", replying to his brother.
"I hope he's okay..." Ichi mumbled.

"Why wouldn't he be?" said Choromatsu, "It's not like he's painful like Kara, here." he said, motioning over at Karamatsu, who was leaning up against the wall, wearing his painful pants and dark shades.

"I'm not painful!" Karamatsu protested loudly, "Why can't you just accept that I will always be way cooler that you?"

The four brothers sighed. ESP Kitty jumped up into Ichimatsu's lap, purring loudly. The lonely boy gently stroked his cat's back. ESP kitty always understood him. That's why he liked cats so much. They never spat ugly words at him, hurt him, or even cared that he was alone.

The rain began to pour down even harder than before.

"Hey, Ichi?" Todomatsu said, looking up from his phone for a split second.

"What?" Ichimatsu mumbled.

"Have you heard from Jyushimatsu?" Todo looked back down at his phone, most likely being a pervert, texting teenage girls.

"No....why would I?" Ichi mumbled.

"Well you are the closest to him, aren't you?" Karamatsu said suddenly after a few moments of silence.

"What's the point in trying to find him? He's not a kid anymore. None of us are." Choromatsu said.

"You really should go look for him though, Ichi," Osomatsu said responsibly.

"It's just a little rain!" Ichi snapped, "Jyushimatsu can fend for himself!" All the brothers looked at Ichimatsu. Their faces had somewhat of a disappointed look filled in them.

"Jyushimatsu is fine." Ichimatsu said firmly, but everyone could clearly see him trembling.
"What if Jyushimatsu is lost?!" Ichimatsu screamed at himself. "I want to find him...but if I go out, looking for him, then everyone will think I'm some soft-hearted guy...I don't want people to think of me that way. I don't need other people's love or care. I'm meant to be alone. I'm meant to be alone!"

Ichimatsu grabbed a fistful of his black hair and tugged on it angrily. A sickening feeling began to rise up in his throat as he watched the sky light up with lightning.

"I'll go look for him," Osomatsu finally said, staring Ichimatsu directly in the eyes. "since none of you seem to care."
