"Aren't you home?" I ask and he nods.

"Yes, my home is with you, so we're going to our house" he says and I nod as we go to a car and he drives us home.

Skyler
When we get home he parks and I climb out going inside, Ace following.

I go to the living room and try to lay down but Ace picks me up laying down and placing me on his chest. I roll my eyes and lay my head on his chest.

I almost fall asleep but he moves and get up picking me up and I hop out of his arms going up to my room.

I get there first and turn around stopping him, "I'm gonna change to some pajamas and I suggest you do too" I say and he nods as I go in the room and he follows.

I turn towards him, "go change" I say and he smirks, "I'm changing in here, this is our room now" he says and takes his shirt off.

I roll my eyes and push him out the door shutting it and locking it.

He whimpers and I smile as I change into a tank top and some sports.

I open the door and he's waiting by the railing with some shorts on, "ok you can go to your house now" I say.

He smirks, "this is my house baby girl, our house" he says coming to me and kissing me.

I gently push him away and turn off the light hoping on the bed, snuggling into my pillow.

I feel arms pull me to a chest, I turn towards him. "Ace back up" I say and he nods scooting not even a centimeter away.

I roll my eyes and turn back around for him to just pull me to him again. He puts his face in my neck and licks my sweet spot. I hold back a moan and turn towards him. He smiles and I put my head on his chest listening to his steady heart beat, he puts his chin on the top of my head pulling me impossibly closer to him.

I fall into a deep sleep and so does he, it's been a looong day.

Ace
I wake up and smile as I look down at Skyler, she's still asleep and I look at the clock, "6:13" I whisper.

I notice me and Skyler are too far for comfort so I pull her closer to me remembering what time it was, "why am I up so early?" I mumble and growl protectively when I see a bright light outside the door and then it disappears.

I get up and get ready to pounce when in comes Skyler's mom the Moongoddess and I immediately bow.

She giggles, "you may rise" she says and I get up.

"Sorry Ma'am, but she's sleeping right now" I say looking over at Skyler.

"I'm not here for Skyler, I'm here for you" I frown and look at her, "me miss?" I ask and she giggles again nodding, "yes you" she says smiling.

I nod and she motions to the hall and I walk out past her. She leads us to the living room and as I close the door to our room I grab a shirt and pull it on.

When I get down stairs she's on the couch and looks up and me with a soft smile and motions to the couch in front of her. I sit there and she starts to talk, "so your Ace?" She asks and I nod looking at her confused.

She nods herself, "no need for confusion, I just want to know one thing" I nod.

"Yes miss?" I ask.

"Will you protect my daughter at all costs, even put your life on the line for her?" I nod.

"Yes ma'am, your daughter is the most important thing in my life, without her, I don't know what'd I do" I say looking down, when we were just 'best friends' I had a crush on her. Ever since I helped her get over Blake I couldn't help but fall for her. And when I realized we were mates and feel in love with her immediately, but she didn't feel the same cause she didn't know until just recently.

'I hope her mom believes me, I would do anything for Sky, she's my everything, and I would die without her, but that's not going to happen as long as I'm breathing; Skyler won't die. If anyone touches what's mine in a way she or I don't like they will be dead in a heartbeat, no one will touch my Skyler' he thought looking back up at Skyler's mom.

She had this huge Joker like smile on her fa- forget that! She has a huge grin on her face when I looked back up at her and frown.

She giggles, "I'm the Moongoddess my boy, I have more than one power, and another one of them is reading minds" my eyes widened, 'so you heard everything I just thought a minute ago?' I think, hoping for a no but she nods.

I nod and look down, "it's ok Ace, she's in good hands, I'm glad your her mate, I didn't know who I was going to make her second chance until you stepped up to help her, then I knew to make you her mate. When I had you realize it I kept it a secret from her, in other words I made it to where she didn't feel the mate bond. I wanted to make sure you wouldn't hurt her, and every time another female came along I watched what you would do, I'm glad you turned them all down, you are my perfect son in law" she said lifting my head, I smile.

"Well I'm glad but it's kinda weird how you can see everyone's moments, no offense just.. How does that work?"

"Oh yes, I am able to pull up anyone I would like to see on a screen since digital things is 'where it's at' and I am able to see in their eyes what they're doing, but I can't you or Skyler" she said with a huff.

I frown, "why not?" I ask.

"Because your a royal and she's my daughter" she said and I nod understandingly.

"Well I must go" she said smiling as we stood, she then gave me a hug, "good luck with her my boy" she said before a bright light appers behind her and she disappears.

I nod and go back upstairs to Skyler and smile softly as I shut the door behind me and crawl back into bed bringing her to me. She instantly snuggles into me and I fall asleep.

I wake up with Skyler gone and I whimper racing down the stairs to see her in the living room looking tired like she was going back to sleep but she smiles and stands and I rush to her and hug her to me. She gives a look of shock but hugs me back, "you ok?" She asks.

"Yes, as long as your ok I am too" I say putting my face in her neck and breathing in her magnificent scent, "I love you Sky" I say and feel her smiled against me chest as she breathes in my scent.

Before she can answer I swing her up and into my arms and she laughs, "put me down!" She says with a snort that makes me chuckle and bring her upstairs. I throw myself on the bed her in my arms as we bounce, "don't break my bed umpa lumpa!" She says and I smile.

"Our bed sweet heart" I say in her ear making her shiver and me smirk against her neck as I kiss it and set her down getting up.

I go to my old room and grab a suit to change into, once I finish I see Sky down stairs straight faced. She's wearing a plaid shirt with a blue jean vest, probably bullet proof and blue jean pants and of course she has that utility belt on.

We head out and she sits in the front the drive bowing to me and her but she waves him off when he opens the door and sits in the front with him.

My wolf whimpers, "mate don't wanna sit with us" he said.

'She probably does but it's her job so she sits in the front' I say and he nods going back to the back of my mind.

I smile as we come to a stop and she opens the door for me, the driver leaves after she gives him a tip. My mom and dad join us by her other side and I grab her hand that's folded with the other one by her stomach. She smiles slightly and so does my mom and dad but they go back to straight faced and her hands fold together letting mine go as we reach the conference room.

I open the door for him and his face straightens as we walk in along with Alpha Ashers and Luna Aprils, I see Alpha Jackass is still here and stares at me as soon as I walk in.

They sit at the head of the table and I stand behind them, his eyes never leaving me. They start to talk about raising the ranks while everyone asks why.

Ace smirks and looks at Alpha Asher, "Cause I am the Werewolf King" he says with power I can tell he's held back for so long that he doesn't even know is there making Luna April smile in approval as she holds his hand.

Everyone bows except for me and Ace, the others look at me, "Why isn't she bowing, I mean I know she's his mate but-" I cut him off, stupid Alpha Philip.

"Cause I'm a higher rank than him" I say and they all frown but Alpha Philip smirks.

"A warrior is more powerful than the Werewolf King? Your dumber than I thought" he said which made me growl lowly.

"Actually- know what? Your not worth my time" I spat and he growls wanting to lunge, I can tell but he doesn't when Ace growls at him making the house shake, and it was just a little growl but the guy clamps up, showing his neck.

I cover my mouth to hold back my laugh as he whimpers and looks up at me glaring, "I don't need help Ace but thanks for that" I say looking at him and back to Alpha Philip going to his kneeling form.

I squat next to him whispering in his ear, "And I thought I told you not to mess with me? Are you gonna keep messing with me?" I say and he shivers and purrs at how nice and kind I talk and I can tell his wolf isn't liking how he's acting towards me and not his mate.

He's mate slaps his arms and he stops pretending to have been coughing while Ace glares, like if looks could kill type of glare.

Alpha Phillip whimpers is submission and I get up, and walk past him going to the door as someone grabs my hand.

I turn around, who do you think grabbed my hand!?

My eyes glaze over, 'Blake!' Jacky growled out and I pushed her back.

'Calm down! I know he's a di- Jackass but we have to deal with him cause he's a close partner who can help the pack, and their safety comes first" she nods and goes back to the back of my mind.

'Hi Sky!' I hear Jacks link me.

'Hey kid, how ya been?' I forgot about everything that was happening.

'Awesome! I just got a game called Black Light Retribution! It's awesome!' I roll my eyes and smile.

'Ok well JA is back so I gotta go'

'Ok, bye Sky!'

'Bye Jacks'

I smile and come back to find Ace looking down and whimpering and Blake nuzzling his face in my neck as he hugged me; I hugged him but dropped my arms to my side standing stiff.

I growl and push him off me, "What the f*ck happened while I was talking to Jacks!?" I ask growling.

Jacky laughs nervously 'Uh yeah about that... Blake was acting really sweet soo... I kinda pretended to be you and told Ace to get a life and he was nothing to us and we would take Blake back' she says and I do a house shaking growl making Blake fall back along with everyone else.

"Jacky! Next time I'm-uh!!" I growl in frustration, "Blake, never EVER touch me again or I'll kill you you screwing rabbit; and Ace" I say turning to him my eyes softening, "I'm so sorry, your not nothing to me, Jackys just depressed, even thou it's been years! Like Jacky! Cry yourself build yourself a bride and get over it!" She whimpers when Ace whimpers shaking his head no, not looking at me. I sigh and raise my hands in surrender walking out to going to the work out room.

But before I can make it in stopped at the doorway by Jacks.

I smile and hug the life out of him, "can't breathe!" He says fake gasping but some of its real so I let him go and kneel in front of him.

"Sorry kid, so what are you doing here?" I ask and he looks over my shoulder and at Ace then frowns.

"Cause I could tell you were going to break everything in the work out room" he looks back at me, "what's wrong with Ace?" He asks and I sigh getting up.

"Go ask him yourself since he obviously hates me" I growl out and he whimpers and I sigh softening my eyes again, "sorry kid just.. make sure Ace is ok for me and kick JA's ass" I say and he nods looking down as I walk past him to go destroy the work out room... Again....
