You ended up in the Ylissean market, but it's not like you had a choice to go there or not. Lissa had literally dragged you, so there was no turning back now.

"(Y/n), look. There's Sumia, Maribelle and Vaike! That's who I was talking about." Lissa jumped up and down, incredibly excited. "Hey guys!" She waved.

"Lissa, darling. How are you?" Maribelle approached her.

"Hello Maribelle. I'm fine, don't worry!" Lissa smiled.

"That's good, it would be terrible if anything happened to you." Maribelle smiled slightly.

"Hey, Lissa!" Sumia ran up to Lissa but managed to trip and fall over. "Ow~" She managed to get up and cautiously walked over to Lissa and you.

Lissa chuckled.

"Are you okay, Sumia?"

"Don't worry about me, I'm fine." Sumia replied, smiling. "How's Chrom?"

"Oh, he's fine." Lissa told her, smiling. "We met (y/n) today. Say 'hello', (y/n)." Lissa nudged you.

"Hello!" You smiled.

"Hello, (y/n). It's an honour to meet you!" Sumia replied, smiling.

"Don't forget about me!" Vaike waved at Lissa. "Heya!"

"Hey, Vaike. How are you?" She replied.

"I'm good. Hey, who's your new friend?" Vaike asked, looking at you.

Once again, your androphobia kicked in, causing you to hide behind Lissa.

Vaike chuckled.

"Don't worry, ol' Teach ain't gonna hurt you!" He gave you a friendly smile.

"This is (y/n), Vaike. She gets kinda shy sometimes, though." Lissa told him.

"Ah, okay. I understand." Vaike nodded his head slightly.

"Lissa, there you are!"

You and Lissa turned around to see Chrom and Frederick running towards you, with two extra members. When Chrom approached you, he introduced you to the two new members of the party.

"This is Sully and Virion. Say 'hey', guys!" He told them.

"Hey!" Sully smiled.

"Good afternoon, beautiful ladies." Virion smirked.

"Ew~ What's with him?!" Lissa stuck her tongue out.

"Lissa, that's not very nice. Apologise, now." Chrom scolded her once again.

"Fine. Sorry... Whatshisname-"

"It's Virion. Such a fine name for a fine man." He said, proudly.

"And a fine bighead." Lissa mumbled.

You chuckled at Lissa. As innocent as she may seem, she really didn't stand for people like Virion.

"Okay Shepherds, ready to head to the North Road?" Chrom asked the group, hoping someone would reply.

"I am..." A quiet voice said, so quiet that no one heard it, so it was ignored. "Ignored again... What a surprise..." This was followed by a sigh, but no one heard this either.

"Hey, wait for me!" A much louder voice said. "I had to skip lunch because of this!"

"Ah, Stahl. What a pleasure to see you." Chrom welcomed his comrade warmly.

"You too, Chrom." Stahl replied, smiling. "Um... Do you have any food?"

You remembered that you had bought a sandwich from the market for your lunch, which gave you an idea. You split the sarnie in two and gave half of it to Stahl.

"T-there..." You cautiously gave him the half, averting your eyes from his face.

"Hey, thanks Milady!" He wolfed the sandwich down. "Nom~"

Lissa chuckled.

"Oh Stahl, always hungry, never empty."

"But... I love food." Stahl replied, looking down at his feet.

"I understand Stahl- Shepherds, look!" Chrom pointed at the meadow in front of you. "Risen..."

"R-Risen...?" You asked Chrom, stuttering slightly.

"The Risen is a group of beasts. Me and Frederick saw some appear earlier on when we met Sully and Virion, but I have no idea why they are actually here..."

"That doesn't matter, all that matters is that we fight them and I bash their skulls with my mighty axe!" Vaike grinned. "Wait... Where's my axe?!" He shouted, looking around the area. "There's no WAY I've lost it already!"

"Looking for an axe, you say?" A feminine voice said. "I found one right here."

Behind you, another female approached the Shepherds.

"Greetings... I am Miriel." She said, taking the axe and handing it to Vaike. "Be careful where you place things next time, or I'll stick the axe to your hands permanently." She threatened him.

"Okay, lady. I'll try." Vaike smiled at her. "Oh, and thanks."

"Come on Shepherds, we must defeat the Risen." Chrom commanded everyone, holding Falchion above his head. "We will not fall!"

With that, he ran towards one of the Risen, knocking it do the ground with the force of Falchion.

Frederick and the others followed before all the Risen had been defeated.

"Nice work, Shepherds." Chrom congratulated everyone. "Let's move on."

And once again, you were all of, ready to face the next challenger who stood in your way.
