In my story Natasha is not a lesbian.. Since in avengers too.. She was straight.. So I am keeping it that way.

John Smith was angry.. Like very angry ..
As a doctor it was his first preference to serve his patient..
But he hates it when other doctors don't do their job nicely..
It was 3 in the morning.. And it was an emergency in hospital..
It was originally shift of Dr. Jones.. But he took an early leave.. And now and John is rushing into hospital since some woman with heavy injuries , multiple fractures has been admitted .

" Where is the patient..?? " John asked Rushing inside

" She has been taken to Operation theatre .. " Nurse said..

" Okay.. Let's get going. " John went inside the theatre glancing at the people outside the operation theatre once..

Well.. To be honest she was very badly injured.. Specially the fractures on the arms and legs were brutal.. Her face was bruised badly so he didn't recognise her in first place..

" Natasha Ramanoff! " John exclaimed as the nurse cleaned all the blood from her face.. And put some fresh bandages..

" Ohh my...  She is one of the avengers.. " Other doctor said

" Yeah.. Let's take her to the ward.. She needs rest.. " John said as they pulled Natasha's bed out the theatre..

John was basically feeling like a fanboy as he realised that the people outside were avengers..

" She is fine now... A rest of 4-5 days..then she will be discharged" John said holding calm state..

" Thanks doctor " Tony smiled.

" It's my duty.. " John smiled at them

" Can we meet her? " Steve asked

" Not now.. After she gains her consciousness.. You can " John said

" We will wait then.. " Steve said

John was looking over some other nurse informed him that Natasha gained her consciousness

" I'll be right there. " John smiled

When John reached her ward he saw her friends AKA The Avengers already in their..

" How are you feeling now? " John asked checking her vitals..

" I need to leave with them.. " Natasha said

" Well.. That's not the answer to my question.. And secondly you can't.. " John said looking over injured yet fierce woman in the bed

" Nat.. He.. " Tony couldn't finish his sentence

" You have no idea what I can do doctor. " Natasha warned

" I know what you can do.. I know that  even with broken ribs you can kick my ass hard can snap my neck into two.. But I still can't discharge you " John said with a smirk in his face

Everyone was wide eyed..
" Wohhooo.. Natasha is getting reply! " Tony grinned

" Shut up Tony.. I can snap your neck too " Natasha smiled devilishly

" Nat.. John is right.. You need rest " Steve said

" And I will keep Tony in place so that you can snap his neck later " Clint chuckled..

" Well Miss Romanoff.. As off now you need rest.. " John said smiling at her

" Ugghhhh.. Fine! " Natasha growled in frustration..

After that they left since they had to continue with the mission.. Leaving John and Natasha in that cabin

" So.. Let me introduce myself.. I Dr. John Smith .. You will be under my surveillance for next 4 days.. Your wounds will take time.. " John said

Natasha scoffed sarcastically remembering her red room days and when she was sterilised..
" I have been through worse " She said sternly

" Yeah I know that.. But that doesn't change the present.. Your body still needs rest . . " John smiled faintly at her..

" Wait.. How.. " Natasha was interrupted in between

" Well before operation we did the full body check up .. So. " John said..

Natasha was silent.. She didn't know what to say..

" It is okay if you just can't think of any badass reply.. Take some rest.. Ring that bell if you ever need anything " John chuckled lightly and left the room..

This is the first time someone left Natasha was left speechless..

John was in his cabin thinking about the terrible childhood Natasha had.. Red room, HYDRA just ruined her whole childhood..

After She revealed all those HYDRA files.. Some of Her secrets came out too..

She probably never had a normal teenage life .. In which girls and boys hang out .. First kiss. First date. Immature relationships.. Instead she played with some guns.

John sighed deeply..

In the next few days.. John and Natasha bonded well.. She was comfortable around him .. He never judged her for her past.. Talked with her as if she is just a normal patient..

She was happy.. Happy to gain a true friend outside avengers ..

Day before her discharge..

John went to check on Natasha.. And saw her sleeping peacefully..
She looked so serene.. John thought

No one would tell that this woman sleeping like this right now is a master assassin . .

" Miss. Romanoff?? " John called out lightly.. And Natasha woke up immediately

John was startled by that..

" Well I have hypersensitive hearing " Natasha explained

" How are feeling today? " John asked checking her pulse and monitoring all her details..

In the mean time a nurse came into the room..

" Hey Ruby Good morning " John smiled at her

" Good morning Dr. John.. Here is your breakfast Miss Romanoff " She handed her the plate

" How was date last night? " John asked Ruby

" Yeah.. It was nice.. He was a nice guy.. We went for a dinner.. Then spent some time in the sea side.. It was really good.. " Ruby smiled brightly..

Natasha smiled up looking at her .. She loved listening to all these things.. She never got to experience these sweet little things of life ..

" You're so lucky! " Natasha chuckled

After a while Ruby left..

" Why are smiling like this? " John  asked

" Do you remember your dates now?" John chuckled even though he knew she probably didn't went to any

" I never went to a date.. Yeah for some mission I seduced men.. But never went for a real one " Natasha smiled sadly

" You should try now.. Any one want to take you on a date! " He smiled

" Well.. No.. Most people know who I am... No body wants to date a sterilised Assassin " Natasha scoffed

" Don't be so hard upon yourself Natasha.. You're perfect.." John said

" Really.. You tell me? Will you go on a date with a girl like me? " Natasha asked raising  her eyebrow.

" How about tomorrow? You will be discharged.. Then we will go out.. And then I will drop you home.. " John asked with naughty smile on her face

" Are you really asking me out? " Natasha was wide eyed.. She was unable to believe all these

" Yes.. Will you go on a date with this not so extraordinary Doctor? " John smiled

" Yeah.. " Natasha grinned.

" Great.. See you tomorrow " John winked and went out of the room..
