SUN AND RAIN

The sky is better when it's bright.
The world looks nicer with light.
Life is better when there is hope.
The sun always gives us hope.

But the rain is always there.
When it comes, it blocks our sunlight.
Every drop counts as danger.
And when they fall, it gets darker.

I can't watch the rain fall, it's hard.
As the clouds cry, I cry too.
I can't win against the rain,
It reminds me of all the pain.

I'm just waiting for more sunlight,
As bright as your light before.
I miss those times with lesser rain.
Can all these happen again?

For now, the rain won't stop yet.
But when the sun shines on us again,
I promise to give my best,
So the rain can no longer break us.

Author's Note:

Sun and rain, two nature phenomenas that cannot combine together. But you know, this poem is a simple one, about a simple love story that is already over. Certain conflicts caused their love to be jeopardized, but one of the lovers still cannot carry on, and still has hopes for everything to go back to the way it used to be, but with more caution, to avoid an end from beginning again. =)

Maybe this is based on my story, with my old crush again, hahahaha. I'm such a weird little boy, am I not? HAHAHAHA. However, this poem still relates to a real love story that ended due to some harmful problems. So.... yeah! I hope this is a good poem. HAHAHAHAHA
