When I came back to my office I had seen Lucy asleep on the couch. She looked so peaceful and less bothered than before. She was perfect, innocent. He didn't want to be away from her anymore.

Flashback

Shu watched Lucy as she slept. The bus had been driving for four hours which surprised everyone. The trip was to the park right? It stopped and he woke her up. Her giant doe eyes met his. He blushed making her giggle. She stood up with the rest of their class. As the two got out they had seen that the bus was parked in a field of fireflies. It was beautiful yet romantic. The class ran through the field happily. It was one memory that they could never forget. It was the moment when the two realized that they truly did love each other.

Flashback end

He remembered that day very well. He realized why he couldn't let her leave. She was his everything. He loved her too much to let her leave. He wanted her to know that she was his everything. Without her, his world would crumble. He didn't truly know what love was before her but now since she didn't love him, It hurt. She was the woman who he imagined to spend the rest of his life with. He wanted to show her everything. To give her anything. As long as she stayed with him. What could he do to make her care for him again?

In Lucy's dream

"We're going out."

"Were?"

"Out, so get dressed." She got ready and came back in a dress that stopped at her thighs with a creme color to it. Shu and Lucy walked out. The streets still wet from the early day rain. He looked at her as she seemed confused.

"What"

"What are we going to do?" 

"You will see." He held her hand in his, making her blush.  The two walked to a tall skyscraper and went to the top. They watched the night view. Shu looked at her as she watched the night stars before he pulled her wrist to his lips. Lucy shut her eyes but stopped as She felt something gentle on it.

She opened her eyes and seen his lips gently on her wrist. He removed it and looked at her. Lucy had an enormous blush. Shu looked at her. She looked away flustered causing him to chuckle.

"Your blushing "She woke up to see Shu staring at her. She didn't know why but she missed him. Being without him, kind of hurt. Maybe Kochi brainwashed her more than she thought.

She loved nothing about a man who took her away from home and used her for her body. Shu grabbed her hand and dragged her to the fountain next door. He ignored her protest.

"Shut up" She stopped and looked at her. He got on one knee. "I can't be away from you anymore. Every time you are not with me I feel like half of me is gone. I know that Kochi might have told you that he loves you but I will do anything to prove to you that I love you more. I want to hold you, kiss you, see your smile every day, to hear your voice. Lucy-" He reached into his pocket and pulled out a ring. Lucy's eyes widened.

"Shu"

"Will you-" He froze as he looked at her. She was crying.

"Why are you crying?" He stood up and wiped her tears. "Crying for something so simple, you're such a child." She glared at him.

"Shu"

"So you do not want to-"

"I waited for years for you to do that." She kissed him. Which surprised him at first but he accepted it back as he held her waist. The two backed away.

"I wanted to do this two years ago but you disappeared.'' She smiled at him.

"I'm here now." He smiled and slid the ring on her finger.

"I know." The two kissed again. Kochi watched the two from the other side of the fountain.

"You will be mine Lucy Heartfilia."
