Chapter 1
Chapter 1
There were a few turning points in my life. Most of them were not exactly happy moments, like losing my brother and learning that I had a condition called AVM which for me meant that I had a malformation of blood vessels in my brain that could cause disruption of blood flow or even in worst cases aneurysms.
Those were definitely bad turning points.
But there were happier ones too, like this one, this morning.
The girl of my dreams, the one I'd been pinning for, for the last seven years, my Great Pumpkin, was now my girlfriend.
In the span of one weekend, what I had thought was the end of us, became a new beginning.
And now, I was picking Lexi up to go to school together as an official couple.
This was bound to create a reaction.
I was actually standing by the door now, while two Graysons were running around their house like headless chickens.
"I don't understand. I told you guys I was going to be there in fifteen minutes. In general, you should have been ready by now. What happened? Did you both oversleep?"
"Shut up. Shutupshutupshutup," Lexi was telling me, coming back from running upstairs after realizing she'd forgotten her school bag there.
I'd seen Tyler, her little brother, run into the kitchen with his toothbrush in his mouth.
"You guys are a mess," I pointed out.
"SHUTUP!" Tyler yelled, running out of the kitchen and sprinting back upstairs.
I distinctively heard him miss a step and then fall and swear.
I snorted, pressing my lips together to keep from laughing.
The Graysons were really a mess in the morning. It greatly entertained me.
Lexi was trying to put her shoes on, but because she was doing it in a hurry, she was just struggling with the shoelaces.
And now Tyler was coming back downstairs with his bags in his hands, and then just grabbed his shoes from the ground.
"Let's go, letsgoletsgoletsgo!" he pressed, pushing on my arm.
"Aren't you gonna put your shoes on?" I asked, letting myself be pushed out.
"In the car, in the car, go, go, go," he just replied, so I laughed again and headed to the driver's side of my car.
When both Graysons were safely sitting in my car, and we were driving away, asked, "Is it gonna be like this every morning when I come pick you up? You guys weren't like this last time with Josh."
"We over slept," Lexi just replied, like that explained it all.
"She came to wake me up and fell asleep beside me," Tyler continued.
"And Dad was already gone to work because he had a meeting so there was no one to wake us up again on time," Lexi added.
I tried to not laugh but failed. After chuckling, I pointed out, "You know, there's this wonderful invention called an alarm clock. It's super effective. I even hear that kids these days use their phone as an alarm. It's like a cool thing you can do with them apparently."
"I don't believe in alarm clocks," Tyler said from the back seat. I looked at him through the rear-view mirror and could see him pouting a little with his arms crossed.
I chuckled again. "What?"
"You need to wake up naturally. If you wake up with an alarm then you get all stressed out and it just ruins your day."
Tyler Grayson was a moron, and I loved him. "As compared to now. Because you weren't stressed at all like one minute ago."
"I stand by what I just said," he replied, determined.
If there was one thing I knew for sure it was that Graysons were a stubborn bunch. I was clearly not going to change his mind, whatever I said.
"Well, this day definitely started out in chaos."
"Thanks for picking us up," Lexi replied, and pressed a quick peck on my cheek.
That got an automatic response from her little brother. He started to kick the back of my seat. "EW. NO. STOP IT! STAWPITSTAWPITSTAWPIT!" he whined.
I flailed my hands towards the back, trying to hit him. "Jesuuuuus. Settled down you lunatic."
Lexi turned, looking at him in the back with a smirk. "Yeah, get used to this, I'm gonna kiss him aaaaaall the time."
I kinda grinned at that.
She was gonna kiss me all the time.
Tyler faked sobbed. "Blakina, babes, my one true love, this isn't you. I know you. She's not the one for you. I am."
Lexi rolled her eyes. "Tyler, seriously, I will kick your ass. He's my boyfriend."
Having them fight over me was definitely entertaining.
Tyler leaned forward, peaking his head in between our two seats. "There's one thing we need to settle here, today, right now. I loved him waaaaaay before you loved him."
"He's got a point Pumpkin," I admitted.
Lexi was kinda taken aback, looking at me with narrowed eyes now. "What?"
"I loved him even when Annabelle was still home," Tyler added.
"What?"
"We used to play video games together during parties," I explained that bit.
I'd met Lexi first, but she had wanted nothing to do with me for the last seven years. Unbelievably, I'd been closer to her brother during that time.
"And he sucks ass at video games so I know he was only doing it to spend quality time with me," Tyler said with a satisfied little grin.
"You guys are messing with me, right?" Lexi asked, with a frown, but also like she was about to laugh because she'd finally gotten the joke.
"We're dead serious," Tyler replied, smirking at his sister.
"Does my brother love you more than I love you?" she asked me.
"Well, I know for a fact he doesn't just love me for my chest sooooo..." Lexi punched my arm at that comment, making me laugh. "OW. Pumpkin, how many times? Do not hit the driver."
"No, no, this is good, let's all die dramatically together in a tragic car accident. Even death couldn't tear us apart," Tyler said from the back.
"Dumbass," Lexi said, slapping his leg. She looked back at me, like she was worried because of what her brother had just said.
Car accident. She knew me. The way my brother had died.
I smiled reassuringly at her.
It was... such a relief to have someone beside me that knew all about my traumas and accepted them and wanted to be careful about them.
I really shouldn't have been keeping all of my emotions bottled up, kept everything to myself.
I should have opened up a lot sooner, because this felt like a weight had come off my chest.
When I finally parked my car in front of the school, Tyler yelled that he loved me as he ran inside to not be late.
Lexi came to stand beside me and slid her hand into mine. "Ready?"
"Ready."
We walked hand in hand inside the school.
There was no big fanfare or commotion. People weren't gasping and pointing at us.
Everyone was too busy to get to class, and anyway, most people at this school did not care about us dating. It had no effect on their lives.
At least that was what I thought until we reached our group of friends gathered around my locker.
"THEY'RE HERE!" Dwayne yelled as soon as he spotted us and then the bunch of idiots actually threw like, confetti?
They all started to jump around, howling and I think Cameron was actually humming really loudly the wedding march. Peter, Jimmy and Mark looked like they were doing a choreographed dance. It was a mess really.
Lexi actually hid her face against my shoulder. "What the hell are they doing?" she hissed.
I laughed. "Being supportive friends."
I stopped laughing when Trevor got on one knee in front of Lexi while the guys were all still celebrating around us.
Other students in the hall were giving us nasty glares. Classes were about to start.
We'd all get detention with Miss Bull if they kept this shit up.
"Lexi," Trevor started to say, a hand pressed against his heart, "it's not too late for us. We still have the time. You can still change your mind and make the right choice, and the right choice is me." I glared at him, while Lexi laughed and the two just ignored me. "I love you more than Blake does, everyone knows this. It's me, your little Trev-Trev, your suga-boo, your favorite twin. I love you more than him. I'm a much better choice."
Alright that was enough.
I slapped him behind the head, hard to shut him up.
I hit him hard enough, and fast enough that the surprise made him fall forward on his face.
"He's VIOLENT! PICK ME!" Trevor yelled laughing, on the ground.
Lexi was laughing too.
"Come on, we'll be late for class," I just said, pulling Lexi by her hand.
She grinned at me. "Jealous?"
"Not one bit. With my chest, I have no competition," I replied.
Lexi just laughed, pressing a quick kiss to my shoulder.
The guys following us howled louder, giving me slaps behind the back in encouragement.
Finally, when we got to our first class, Alex and Daphnee were already sitting there, waiting for their friend.
I looked at Alex.
He looked back at me.
Oh boy.
Time to face Alex.

HAPPY MONDAY MY LITTLE PUMPKINS! <3
And welcome to Little Bitch. I hope you enjoyed this first chapter. The first few ones are a little short. I'm working with only new stuff now, so that means more work for me, and therefore a lil less words.
Hopefully, it was fun enough that it did not bother you.
I'm really enjoying this story so far. It's fun to have a Blake that's happy, and that's in a different headspace, one where I can just write happy fulfilling little moments. I like to write fluff chapters XD I really can't wait to read all your comments and see how you'll react! :P
I hope you're all doing good. It's the Festival d'Été de Québec here, which is like 12 days of concerts every night. So far I've seen Jessia, Lennon Stella, Charlotte Cardin, Luke Combs, Gayle and Maroon 5. I skipped Suicideboys tonight, but it's Halsey tomorrow, and then Loud, Marshmello, Alanis Morissette, Alexisonfire and Rage Against the Machine. I shall be dead by the end of it. I'm already a little dead. I'm not 20 years old anymore. My body doesn't recuperate as well. XD But it's definitely worth it. Cute story time. Yesterday, when we were coming out of the venue with everyone pushing to get out, me and Ève saw a girl being surrounded by her friends. We thought she was having a panic attack maybe and wanted to help, but she was pregnant and her baby daddy and friends were trying to protect her from getting hit, so we joined the protective circle, telling everyone to back off. It was an adorable moment. Her baby daddy made me think of Blake for a second, because he told someone very proudly at one point, "That's my sperm!" pointing to his girlfriend, which was a very Blake thing to say.
This makes me think about all the things I'll write about Blake and Lexi in the future.
I'm really reaaaally excited for this new chapter in Blake and Lexi's life. I hope you guys are too!
Thank you so much for supporting me and my writing!
I'll see you all next week! (if I don't die of exhaustion by then) I LOVE YOU GUYS!! <3
