I gave my last paperwork to my secretary and I left the building. I walk to my car and Logan got in and we both drove home.

It was a Saturday morning and I had to go back in to work because my secretary made a mistake that could have really destroyed my business.

I open the door and the first thing that catches my eyes are my cats." We were bored." Said Sebastian as he put the small hat on pancakes.

My cats didn't seem to mind as they all stare at me."also me and Sebastian we got curious and we open a box that was delivered and I think you all my want to see this."

He said and I followed him to the living room to see a note."it about ken." He said and I shook my head." I should have told you all but I spoke to my father he told me that ken had a illness."

I said.

"No your father lied."

" here we go again. Listen it over nothing you say will make me want to dig into my family secrets."

I said in a stern voice.

" you said you aren't weak. You said you are a business woman so show us. Karina I have a feeling that your father lied."

I look at the letter and I read over it." These are his hospital records he was clearly okay no illness."

I read it over and over again." I don't understand." I said as I place it down." I think that it time to really find out what your dad capable of."

I look at Samuel and at Logan." But we can't force you. Karina it up to you."

He said and I nod my head." I still can't take the image of ken. Maybe I am weak or maybe I am just in denial. If my father is that time of man to cheat and steal his way to the top. Then I have to help my mom."

I said to them." And if this is wrong it alright if he gets mad at me. But I need to do this."

I said." We need to gather a list of my dad old bodyguards." I told them.

"You must find their cause of death." I told them and Sebastian and Samuel walks out the living room and it was just me and Logan.

He comes toward me." Don't ask me if I'm okay. Please because I don't want to tell you. Right now it better for me to focus on finding out his secrets then asking me how I am feeling."

And I look away from him.

I look at him." Don't play with me boy."

He said as he corrected me when I called him a boy.

"You know half of it already because of Samuel. Yes I am your guardian. The moon goddess picked me to protect you it is my destiny. You have control over me. Your command I must follow it that why my eyes sometimes turn electric blue."

" like my lycan side we will protect you until death calls my name. Not ever human has a lycan sometimes it can be a demon or a vampire."

He told me." But why me?"

"The moon goddess has her reasons. And maybe it good because look what happening in your life you need someone to trust and that is me."

I nod my head." But you can also reject me if you don't want me as your guardian then you can reject me."

" yes first we would need to cut our hand and mix our blood together and then you will repeat my name and some other stuff."

I nod my head." But sometimes other guardians who find their mates often do not stay with the ones they have to protect that why I'm letting you know about the rejection also you can end up having a mate."

He said.

"But why do I feel attracted to you? And you never explain on that day you beat up luke why you act so territorial."

"We have a connection. And every guardians are territorial.You don't feel attracted to me it just that you crave to be more close to me because I'm the one that you feel more comfortable with."

"Has their every been a guardian who ends up falling for the person they need to protect?"

"It was a feeling that I got and I knew I messed up big time. So I was finding out a way to be by your side until your dad was looking for a bodyguard and boom I'm here your sexy personal bodyguard."

I said.

I said as he got up."life unfair."

And he walked away.

I got up and I made my way to my room and for some reason I felt the need to go look outside the window.

I made my way to the window and I seen a child with white blonde hair and one of his eyes were green and the other blue. I open my window." Hey kid are you lost?"

I yelled as he was staring at me but he turn around and disappear inside the forest.

I frown. I hope he is okay?
