Today you were very excited to be training today because you'd finally learn how to control your voice powers! Sensei told you to meet you at Ninjago Performance Hall. It was a big concert hall. Your mother preformed there many times.

You walked up on the empty stage and looked around in the hall. Rows of empty chairs filled the place except for the first section in the front of the stage, it was filled with fighting dummies holding wooden or plastic swords.

You quickly turned around when you heard the curtain behind you go up reviling Sensei Wu and even Jay. "Good you're here. Let's try controlling how far your voice can reach up to, without a microphone." Sensei says walking up to you.

"I'm guessin' them dummies in that section is the one I have to try and knock over." You guessed and Sensei nodded and gestured for you to try. "Use high notes to get bigger waves of enemies and low notes to get a few." He says.

You face the 'crowd' and breathe in and out. "I got the eye of the tiger! A fighter! Dancing through the fire! Cuz I am a champion! And you're gonna hear me roar! Oh louder! Louder then a lion! Cuz I am a champion! And your gonna hear me ROOAAARR!" You sang the high note part from the certain Katy Perry song, making sure it hit the dummies. Every single dummy that was in a chair either broke in half or tumbled to the floor. You had done it! You turned around with a smile.

"Very good! Come we must test it on a number of less enemies." Sensei says as he leads you farther on the stage. You saw that Jay had moved to the corner of the stage, he had headphones on his ears and an MP3 player in his hand.

He was tapping his feet to whatever he was listening to and lip singing a little. You chuckled then Sensei cleared his throat to get your attention. You turned, facing Sensei and saw that he had 3 training dummies next to him.

"Use your low voice to knock them down." Sensei instructs and moves out of the way. You nod then clear your throat a little. "Like an astronaut that's scared of heights. With a heart that's beating at the speed of light. You've been waiting for this feeling all your life. Sometimes it's just hard to realize." You sang and all three dummies broke apart and fell to the floor. You smile then look at Sensei again. "So go high to extend far, go low to go near? Got it! But how do I use my real voice!? What if I just wanted to sing for fun!" You say

"To use your real voice, you must concentrate. Focus on your voice. Focus on singing normally. And not as a weapon." Wu says. You nod then concentrate on controlling your voice. You wanted to sing not defeat anyone. "If you could take my pulse right now it would feel just like a sledgehammer! If you could feel my heartbeat now it would hit you like a sledgehammer!" You sang. But when you sang a stage light fell from its post almost landing on Jay! He yells and dodges out of the way!

"What was that!!!" Jay asked startled. You nervously smiled at him, "Sorry! You okay?!" You quickly apologize. Jay got up and checked for any bruises. "I'm good!" He says and you sigh in relief. "You were not focused. Try again." Wu says and you sigh and try again. "I don't admit it, I play it cool. But every minute, That I'm with you. I feel the fever and I won't lie. I break a sweat. My body's telling, All the secrets I ain't told you yet!" You concentrate and sing again.

This time the stage shook and a hole appeared on the stage making whatever was in that spot collapse down. "Ugh! You serious! Yo this is gonna take forever just for me to use my regular singing voice!" You said getting frustrated. "Do not give up. It was only your second try. All musicians have troubling times. From getting the right notes to getting their instrument to work. But they keep trying until they get the right sound they are looking for. You should not give up, keep trying. It is possible for you to sing without hurting anyone." Sensei tells you.

You realize he's right, you knew many artists who never had it easy. Even your own mother. You breathe in and out, focusing real hard. You can't give up, you wanted to sing again. You close your eyes. "I struggle to contain (whoa oh). The love that's in my veins (oh oh). And how it circulates (oh oh)!" You sing, trying again. You open one eye then the other, looking around you to see if you damaged anything. Sensei looked at you and smiled. "I did it?" You asked and he nodded. You cheered for now you could sing anytime you wanted to!

"Wait so let's see. I can destroy with my voice. And I can control it now. You said I could sound like anyone or anythin' I wanted? And somethin' bout hypnotizin' peeps with my voice?" You a ask and Sensei nods. "Yes but that will be tomorrow's lesson. You still have a ton of training to go through but in time you'll get the hang of it." He says. "Okay. Ooh! And how can I unlock my true potential that my momma was talking bout?"

"A True Potential is the highest level of elemental power accessible to an Elemental Master, tapped into through overcoming the emotional obstacles that are holding them back. Once you find what Is holding you back, you will unlock your true potential." Sensei tells you then walks off the stage. You think about anything emotional holding you back in your life but you just couldn't figure out what.

Jay walked to you putting away his MP3 player and putting his headphones around his neck. "Pretty good job you did back there!" He complements "Wait, what are you gonna train me on?" You asked your mentor. Jay froze, "Um uh, I'm here to uh...back up Sensei! Yeah! He uh needs a break from time to time and-" "Jay it's okay to say that you just came to watch me!" You cut him off then chuckle. Jay relaxes a little then smiles. "Hey, you doing anything later?" You ask him.

You decided to tell him how you felt about him today but you weren't sure when or how. But Mikaela insisted and recommended you get it done today. "Nope! I'll probably just stay inside. Heard there's another storm coming later so I'll just stay inside. Hehe you know how those autumn storms are." He says.

You get nervous, could you ask him now? Or should you do I later? You open your mouth to say something but nothing came out. You closed it then cleared your throat. "Um uh ok. J-just askin. Wait why'd you bring a MP3 player?" You ask with a chuckle.

"Oh, Sensei said something about If I listen to your voice I'll get hurt something like that. But of course there's no way you'd hurt me." He says with a smile. "Oh ok. Well I uh I gotta go. Bye Jay!" you say then walk off the stage. "Uh bye Marcy!" He calls out to you and you look back at him and wave.

You arrive home and your mom approaches you. "Did ya learn how to control it?" She asks and you smile, "Yeeeaaahhh!" You sing with concentration. Your mom smiles at you and gives you a hug. "Ooh I knew my baby could do it! Hot chocolate's in the kitchen on the counter just waitin' for you!" She says then walks away. "Thanks ma!" You call out to her. Then she comes back to you again, "Oh I forgot to mention, your father and I are goin' out later. You're in charge okay." She says and you nod then go up to your room.

Later on you looked outside your window and listened to the storm outside. It was getting late and if you didn't tell Jay soon then Mikaela would kill you and you'd never get a chance to do it! You texted Jay.

Me: Hey Jay?
Couple minutes later he typed back.
Bae Walker: Yeah?
Me: You like storms...right?
Bae Walker: Totally! It's kinda my thing ya know ;)
Me: Then...you wouldn't mind
Me: Coming over? Now?
Bae Walker: Sure! :) I'll be right over!
Me: Okay See ya! :) Just come up to my room. Door's too far lol and I'm sure my bro will get it xD
Bae Walker: Ok :)

Your heart started racing, were you really about to tell him? You quickly dialed up Mikaela and paced around your room. She picks up, "Hey girl!" She says. "I can't do this." You tell her. "Is he coming over??" She asks. "Yeah. And I can't do it! What if I mess up?! Girl I just can't."

"You'll do fine! Keep me on the line okay! Just put your phone down when he comes and I'll be there listening." "Well what if he doesn't like me back?! Are you sure you put all the clues together right?" "Relax! I went over it twice! It's full proof!"

Just then there were two knocks on your door, "Knock Knock!" Jay says from the other side. "He's here!!" You whisper/yell "Great! Hey I'll be here the whole time just don't hang up okay! And no fangirling I promise!" She says and you put your phone down on your bed then head for the door. "Who's there?" You ask, going along with it. "A Herd!" He says. "A herd who?" "A Herd you were home so I came over!" Said Jay. You chuckle then open up the door and let him in.

"Hey Marcy! So you wanted me to come over? Oh and your brother did open up the door! Haha nice guess." He says and you smile and you two sit down on your bed. You look up at Jay and bite your lip, hoping to stop your from getting all nervous. You looked at your phone then looked at him. "Yeah I uh, wanted to tell you S-something." You say and he smiles. "Yeah sure what's up?"

You breathe in and out to relax yourself. "I've uh been noticin' that you uh, you've been acting mysterious. L-like you've been leavin' clues. Well uh Mikaela and I um put all your clues together and uh she found out that uh...Y-you L-like me...and uh...I-i L-like...I Like Y-you too." You say nervously. Jay stares at you, as you talk, listening to every word you said. His smile gets wider and wider. When you finished you blushed then looked down, hiding your face with your hair.

"Well aren't you the little sleuth." He says to you and you look at him and start playing with the tips of your hair. "R-really? S-so we was right?" You ask and he smiles at you and nods. You blush hard. "But why me?" Jay holds your hands in his and the butterflies in your stomach go crazy. "You're different and I like that. You understand me like no one else does and you were there for me when no one else was. You're different then Nya and on a good note." He tells you.

"But Jay I'm Bla-" "That doesn't matter! I like you, just the way you are." "W-when did you-" "Start liking you? Well I guess ever since you walked in the dojo. Then you sang to me and you were beautiful. I know we almost, Y-you know, and I was with Nya but I just couldn't stop looking at you. There was something...special about you. I didn't even know we were about to kiss. Ya know I-i just thought you should know." "Wait so then you asked Sensei if you could train me then made up an excuse?"

"Yeah! But he actually did leave but he came back 3 days later but I couldn't lose you." "A-and the park? The message you sent me?" "I saw you two, but of course I wouldn't tell you." He says with a wink. "And Nya breakin' up with you?" "That was definitely not part of the plan. It...happened but hey I've got you now." You give him a small smile and smiles back at you and pushes a strand of you hair out of your face, behind your ear.

Just then Mikaela starts strumming I Was Made For Loving You by Tori Kelly through the phone and you and Jay heard it. You wanted to get on her but you could help but sing, she was too good. "A dangerous plan, just this time. A stranger's hand clutched in mine." You sing looking down at you and jay's hands intertwined. "I'll take this chance, so call me blind. I've been waiting all my life." You sing to him. "Please don't scar this young heart. Just take my hand."

Then you sing the chorus to Jay, "I was made for loving you. Even though we may be hopeless hearts just passing through. Every bone screaming I don't know what we should do. All I know is, darling, I was made for loving you." Jay smiles at you and you lay your head on his chest and he puts his arms around you and sings his part. "Hold me close through the night. Don't let me go, we'll be alright." He sings, looking down at you.

"Touch my soul and hold it tight. I've been waiting all my life." You smile as he sings to you. "I won't scar your young heart. Just take my hand." He sings and you hold his hand tight. Then you both sing the chorus in almost perfect harmony. "Cause I was made for loving you. Even though we may be hopeless hearts just passing through. Every bone screaming I don't know what we should do. All I know is, darling, I was made for loving you." You two sing

"Please don't go, I've been waiting so long." You two sing looking in each other's eyes. "Oh, you don't even know me at all! But I was made for loving you." You sing, now facing him. "I was made for loving you. Even though we may be hopeless hearts just passing through. Every bone screaming I don't know what we should do. All I know is, darling, I was made for loving you." You two sing then the song finishes. Mikaela gets quiet on the other line but you could definitely tell she was fangirling.

"Jay D-do you think we could, K-kiss now?" You ask nervously. Jay smiles at you and brings your face closer to his. "I don't see why not." He says and leans it. "Wait!" You say and he stops. "What's wrong?" He asks you, worry in his eyes. "T-this is my first K-kiss..." You tell him then he gets surprised. "Y-you never kissed anyone before? You never had a boyfriend?" He asks you and you frown and nod. "All the boys thought I was weird." You say with a chuckle.

"Well they don't know how great of a girl you are." He tells you with a smile. You smile, "If there's anyone I'm getting my first kiss with...I'm glad it's you Jay." You tell him. He smiles, "Ready? I won't hurt you I promise." He says and you nod and close your eyes. Jay connects his lips to yours and the feeling was incredible! He kissed you soft and gentle, being careful since it was your first kiss. He let go and you opened your eyes. Your heart was beating like crazy! "Wow." You say and he chuckles.

"Hey, can we do that again?" You ask and he smiles and kisses you again. Jay let go again and blushed, "Will you uh be my girlfriend?!" He asks you and you smile widely. "Yes!!" You tell him then kiss him. Just then you felt something inside you, like something was let go and allowing you to be free. And then you two let go quickly when you heard your brother screaming downstairs. "TYLER!" You yell and run out of your room with Jay closely behind you.

"WHAT THE HECK IS GOIN' ON WIT' THE COUCH!?" Tyler yells as the couch magically straps him tight. "Couches do NOT just magically strap people TO THEM!!" Jay yelled as he tried shocking the couch with his electricity but it wouldn't budge. Instead the couch grabbed Jay and strapped him next to Tyler. Both boys screamed, "AH! HELP!!" They both said. You grew enraged, whoever was doing this shouldn't be messing with your brother and new boyfriend.

You put your ninja mask on and glared at it. "YOU MESS WITH THEM YOU MESS WITH ME! STAND BACK! I'M TAKING THE MIC!" You yell. You didn't know what was happening but you let it happen. Jay and your brother saw it all! You started glowing purple and it was very bright.

You sang a very loud high note aiming for them and the couch. "This is awesome but she's too loud!! And what's happening!?" Tyler asks Jay. "She found her true potential! I guess finding out that all the clues were right and all her answers being answered must have been holding her back! I'm the reason she found her true potential!!" Jay says happily.

The couch exploded! And released Tyler and Jay. You stopped singing and stopped glowing purple. You fell to the floor and Tyler and Jay helped you get up. "Ugh, what happened?" You asked them. "You found your true potential! Yo that was some dope stuff back there!" Your brother says and you chuckle.

"Someone did this...but who? No ones here." You say. "Someone's probably watching us from elsewhere. If anything I've ever seen, that's definitely dark magic. But that's almost impossible." Jay says. "What do you mean?"

Jay then told you and very long story about some tournament of elements and about a guy named Clouse who was a Master of Dark Magic, but he's supposedly gone. "Then someone from his family is the cause of all this." Ty concludes. "Yeah, but just be on the lookout. Someone's onto us." Jay says. "Well, guess we better clean this up." You tell them.

"Wait hold on! How is Jay the cause of your true potential? What happened up there?!" Your brother asks, folding his arms. You and Jay blush, "Um uh, long story. How about we discuss it over clean up." You said and leave them to grab a trash bag and a broom.
