The next day you were extra happy to go to training today. Two reasons, One, you'd learn more things to do with your voice. Two, you'd get to train in peace without having to wonder weather or not Jay likes you. Today Sensei wanted you back at the dojo since it wasn't that very big of a lesson.

"To change the sound of your voice, you must concentrate, figure out what the sound of the person or thing you are trying to imitate and copy its voice." Sensei instructed. It was a little hard for you to hear what he was saying, you were in your own world.

You and Jay were dreamily staring at each other and Sensei couldn't seem to get either attention from both of you. Wu sighed then wacked you and Jay in the head with his staff. "Ow!" You both say, rubbing the spot you got hit at. "We're you paying any attention to anything I have said?" He asks you. You decided to be a little smart. You listened to the words Sensei said and memorized his voice, then concentrated and talked in Sensei's voice.

"We're you paying any attention to anything I have said?" You repeated in Sensei's voice. Wu was surprised and so was Jay. You changed back to your normal voice then chuckled. "Well then, next lesson shall we. I'd help you on this one but your mother warned it was a little dangerous. Here, she wrote down some uh, things. Jay! Why not help on this one. And may I borrow that?" Sensei says

Jay shrugs and nods and hands Sensei his headphones and MP3 player. You read the note your mother says not really paying attention to Sensei enjoying the music coming from the headphones. The note read,

To put someone in a trance with voice,
A little warning, ONLY use this for emergencies.
Look at the person and focus on their eyes and sing the following verse.

You looked at Jay and he smiled at you. You couldn't put your boyfriend in a trance! "Whatever it is I'll be fine. Do it." He says to you. You sighed and looked into jay's blue eyes. "Little Sailor, Hear my me now, Fall asleep to my sound." You sang to Jay. His eyes turned a bright glowing purple and he froze. You reminded yourself it was just practice. "Sink your ship by the rocks, Resist you can't resist you cannot." You continue then finish.

Jay was fast asleep on floor. You looked at Sensei and he walked over to you, taking the headphones off. "Well done, don't worry he is only in a deep sleep, I've seen the work of your mother before. Only use those for emergencies on the battle field okay." He says and you bow in respect, "Yes Sensei, and are you sure I didn't come from a long line of sirens??" You ask and Sensei chuckles. "Sirens do not exist. I am very positive your ancestors created this." He says.

"Fine but how do I wake him up!? I don't want him sleepin' for who knows how long!" Sensei puts the headphones back on, "Read what's on the note." He says then sits in the corner of the room. You sigh and look at Jay sleeping on the floor. You bend down and open his eye. He was sound asleep and his eyes were still glowing purple. You closed them and read the note again.

To awaken someone from a trance,
Sing the following verse, and remember USE FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY!

You rolled your eyes then looked at Jay. "Little Sailor, Awake from sleep. Listen closely do not speak." You sang softly. Jay got up and stood in front of you but his eyes were still glowing purple. "Sail your ship, Out to sea, Never regret the power of me." You finished. Jay's eyes returned to normal and he blinked his eyes a couple times and looked around. "Wha-What happened??" He asked.

Sensei walked over and gave him his MP3 player and headphones back. "A lesson complete is what happened. Training is over for today come by again tomorrow." He says then walks out of the dojo. "I'm so sorry." You say and Jay smiles, "No it's okay! You had to learn it...whatever it was." "But I put you in a trance! And I made you sleep!" "It's okay! Hey I needed a nap anyways." He says then yawns.

You chuckle, "Ya sure?" "Totally! I bet it was awesome anyways!" "Well, if you say so. I'll call you!" You say with a smile and peck Jay on his cheek and begin to walk out. "Wait! Marcy!" Jay says and you turn around. "Um uh, W-would you like to...go on a D-date this afternoon?" Jay asks nervously, scratching the back of his neck. You blush and smile, "No one's ever asked me out before." "Well I'm glad I'd be the first." He says with a smile.

"Sure, what time you gonna pick me up?" "You sure? I mean I get your probably busy and you've got other things to do and- wait you said yes?!" You smile and nod. "Nya was always busy for her dates...wasn't she." You guess and Jay frowns and nods. "I rarely asked her...but it's good I'm starting a fresh ya know. How's 1ish sound like?" "One's good. I'll uh be ready." You say with a smile then walk out of the dojo.

You hear Jay cheer and you chuckle and hop in your brother's car that you borrowed and drove home. "OMG your outfit HAS to be on point girl!" Your friend says, squealing as she searches through your walk in closet for an outfit. "Ma! Careful with the eyeliner!" You say blinking your eyes.

"Sorry baby I'm just so excited for you!" Your mom says. Mikaela was helping with your outfit and your mother voluntarily, did your makeup. "AHH! I FOUND IT!!" Mikaela yells then runs out. You and your mother gasp and the outfit Mikaela pieced together.

It was a blue denim shirtdress with a brown belt to match. It had a white infinity scarf to keep you warm and black leggings to keep your legs warm yet fashionable. And to top it off she added light brown tassel trimmed ankle boots. "Yes girl!" You say in excitement.

"No way! How is she supposed to keep warm!" Your mother says. "Not to worry! I checked the weather and it's not freezing! Which means it's perfect for jackets, long sleeves and leggings! That sun is gonna be very nice to you today Marcy!" She says and lays out your outfit on the bed.

"Alright, if you say so. Close your eyes baby so I can add the eyeshadow." Your mom says and you do as told. "Ooh! Lauren! Nice touch on the face!" You heard your friend say. You chuckle at how weird it still sounds to hear your friend call your mother by her first name.

"Thank ya Mikaela! Alright baby you can open your eyes now." She says and you open them. They both gasp and you check the mirror. "Wow, momma I look amazin! Thanks!" You say and she hugs you. "Alright lemme just take these things out your hair." Mikaela says as she takes the curlers out your hair.

Your hair was wavy but your friend decided on a new look for this date. She took out the last one and did a couple touch ups to your hair and you gasped when you looked in the mirror again. "Nice work girl! My hair is totally on point!" You say with a wide smile. "Thanks girl! You know it!" "It's almost 1 hurry up and change Marcy." Your mother says handing you the clothes and shoes. You grab it and hurry to the bathroom and change.

When you were done you walked out and they both gasped. Mikaela squealed, "AHH! OMG YOU LOOK INCREDIBLE!!" She yells. You check yourself in your big mirror and smile. "That ninja won't know what hit him!" Your mom says and you chuckle and hug both of them as a thank you. "Wait before you go! Add this purse as an accessory! And to hold your camera that I know you always bring everywhere." Mikaela said then shoved your camera in your purse and gives it to you.

You put It over your shoulder then head downstairs with your friend and mother following close behind. You heard your brother and your dad talking to someone by the door. "Boy! She's my sister! If you break her heart I swear I'll go fist to face all up on you son!" You heard your brother sass. "That's right! I want her home safe and sound and happy understand Mr. Walker!" You heard your father. You saw them pretending to be overprotective in front of Jay.

You chuckled for they had been practicing ever since you told everyone Jay asked you out. Jay seemed to buy it though. You walked over to them, "Guys stop scaring him! Now if you'll excuse us we have somewhere to go!" You tell your brother and dad. You saw Mikaela and your mother quietly laughing in the back. "He's all clear to go honey! Have fun!" Your dad says and you roll your eyes and wave goodbye to everyone before dragging Jay out your house.

"They just tryin to be tough it's fine." You reassure Jay and he relaxes. "Wait woah! You look...beautiful!" Jay says, eyeing you up and down. You blush, "Uh thanks. Y-you look fine yourself." You say looking at Jay. His hair was up again and wore a plaid blue shirt with brown jeans and white sneakers. "T-thanks...so, uh shall we?" Jay said and walks you to a car! "Woah, no raider? Or fancy ninja car?" You asked. "No, I just felt like, ya know, going casual. Hope you don't mind." He says and opens the door for you.

"Nah I don't mind. Thanks. So! Where we going!?" You ask feeling excited. Jay gets in the drivers seat and starts the car. "A really nice place that I've always wanted to take Nya on but I think you'd like better." Jay tells you with a smile then drives off. It was a pretty long car drive but you and Jay jammed out to the songs that came on the radio. From the latest songs to the old ones you both grew up with.

"Nya and I would never do stuff like this! This is crazy fun!!" Jay tells you as a commercial comes on. "I'm guessin' your happy you chose me." You say with a smirk. "Totally! I mean where have you been all my life!?!" He says and you laugh. "Mikaela said the same thing years ago!" You say with a chuckle. "Well I agree with her! Your just amazingly different! You have a perky, fun, happy personality and you're just a great person to hang out with!"

You blush, "Really?!" You ask and Jay smiles. "Really. Oh and we're here!" He says as he parks the car. You get out and the first thing you see is a big lake and beautiful autumn forestry on the other side. There was a dock with a couple boats for boat riding and it was all a picture perfect place. Jay grabbed a picnic basket from the back then smiled at you. "Nice place huh?" He asks you and you smile and nod. "Well come on! I bet your hungry!" He says and leads you to a quiet area by the lake.

He lays down a blanket then you both sit down. "No way! Are those chocolate chip cookies!?" You ask looking in the basket. "Maaayyybbeeee! Haha go ahead have one! Zane and I worked on it!" He says and you take one a bite it. "Mmm! This is a cookie!" You say, savoring the taste. Jay chuckles and takes a bite himself. "So what do you think couples do on dates?" You ask him. Jay leaned on his elbow and frowned, "I'm actually not sure, if there was any time I'd been on a proper date I'd say it's this one. I guess we talk about random things!" He says.

And that's what you two pretty much did. You knew Jay could talk for hours but it seemed like he was trying to give you a chance to talk from time to time. And the food Jay brought was real good. You felt full but you wanted to keep eating! Jay told you about the many adventures he had with his fellow ninja and you told him about your life living with a singer and a record company owner.

"So then we jumped off a building and we safely landed on the ground but of course Kai was being an airhead and the funny thing was his head inflated! Like he was an actual airhead!! Haha but once we were all on the platform the Overlord saw us and he started sinking us! But luckily Pixal was able to get us out! But then the Overlord flipped the Digiverse upside down!!" Jay tells you about the time he went to the Digiverse.

"Dang! He didn't make it easy on you guys huh?" You say and Jay nods. "Yeah, we almost fell but then I came up with a genius idea and imagined my raider and it appeared! So we all used our vehicles and drove up! Eventually we made it to the spot where the techoblades go and we put them in!" "So you guys rebooted the system?" "It wasn't that easy, you see, the Overlord found us and we ended up having a little battle with him but in the end we successfully rebooted the system!" He says and you cheer.

"Yay! But wait! How'd Zane die?!" You ask and Jay chuckles and starts packing up the picnic basket. "I'll tell you that later, but wanna go for a boat ride?" He says and you smile and nod, helping fold the blanket. "I'll be back, just gonna put this stuff back in the car." Jay said and walks away. You look at the scenery and smile, it was a perfect thing to take a picture of! You grab your camera and take a couple shots. Just then you felt a pair of arms snake around your waist.

"Whatcha doing?!" Jay asks you from behind and you chuckle. "Takin' pictures. Photography is my obsession and a lil hobby of mine." You tell Jay handing him your camera. You watch as he looks through all the pictures on the camera, you can tell he's amazed.

"Cool! Wow these pictures are amazing!" He says and you smile and get the camera back from him. "Thanks! I bet I'd get better shots when we go boat riding!" You say putting it back in your purse. "Let's see shall we! Oh wait before we go." Jay says and reviles a flower crown that he was hiding from behind his back.

You chuckle as he puts it on your head. "A flower crown in the middle of fall?" You ask and he smiles. "Why not! And besides I thought it'd look pretty on you! I tried finding one with fall colors! See! This one has orange and dark red flowers!" He says and you smile at how cute Jay was. You fixed it on your head a little and smile. "Thanks, I love it!" You said. "C'mon! Let's get a boat!" He says happily and drags you to the docks.

You both put life vests on then picked a row boat and Jay rowed you both away from the docks. Jay started rowing in circles and you laughed. "The destiny's bounty was easier to steer then this!" He says and you laugh.

"If you're not gonna row right then let me do it!" You say grabbing the ores from him. Jay gasps, "That's the first sentence I've ever heard you say without adding Ain't in it!" He says and you chuckle. "I apologize, a bit too formal for you Mr. Walker?" You ask him in a British accent.

Jay laughs, "I know how to get it back though!" He says and he starts rocking the boat side to side. "Boy! You tryin to sink us!? Yo! My dad will sue you if you do!" You say normally and Jay stops rocking the boat. "Ha! I knew it!" "Jay I have a very strong urge to push you out of the boat and into the water but I really wouldn't want to mess up that mop of perfection on your head that you call hair." "Oh really now!? Well I have a very strong urge to push you overboard too! But I'd hate to get those rags of beauty that you call clothes wet." He says back

"Aww you like my outfit?!" You ask "Aww you like my hair?" Jay asks. You both then let out your dorky side and laugh. "Can we be one of those weird couples?!" You ask him and Jay nods his head yes. You rowed down the lake and kept talking about random things with Jay.

You two took turns rowing and when it was jay's turn you'd always take the time and take some pictures! You took one of Jay rowing while he wasn't looking and you couldn't stop staring at how perfect he looked in the picture!

You took another one but this time Jay made a silly face! "Hey!" You say and he chuckles. "Add that to your little scrapbook." He says happily and you smile. "Maybe I will!" You said. "I'm gonna park right here." Jay says and puts the ores in the boat. "Park? Seriously? And where?! We're practically in the middle of the lake!" You say and he chuckles. "Hey! I said we'd be one of those weird couples so deal with it!" He says

You roll your eyes and chuckle then look at your reflection in the water. The water was still and clear. You saw jay's reflection next to yours and he smiled. You looked up at him and smiled back. "You know, it hurt everyday to train and know that you were with someone else to make you smile." You tell him, looking back down at your reflection. "Even though I was with Nya, you were the one that made me smile. Which sounds weird, you were jealous of yourself." He says with a chuckle.

"But it still hurt." "Hey, hey. The past is the past." Jay tells you then holds your hand and squeezes it. "And the future...is the future." He tells you with a smile. You look at him and smile. "C'mon let's row back to the dock." He said and began rowing. You just couldn't stop smiling, Jay was an amazing guy. You both made it back to the dock and once it was clear you both sat on the edge of the dock and you let your legs hang over the water.

You rested your head on jay's shoulder and he rested his head on yours. You intertwined your fingers with his and listened to the sound of the autumn breeze blow, making ripples in the water. "I don't know Marcy, maybe I'm just a kid in love." He tells you. "If so, then I don't ever wanna grow up." You say dreamily with a sigh. "Ya know all day, your accent has been disappearing and your grammar's been perfect all day." He says with a chuckle.

"Uh, no it ain't! You thinkin' things again!" You say, clearing your throat. "Did I fix you?" "Oh my god you fixed me. I swear I'll kill you." You say playfully pushing him and he chuckles. "I don't know. Yeah I grew up with it...but I guess all my life I tried talking like my bro so I can be ya know, cool! Guess it became a habit." "Why?" "He had more friends and no one was mocking him or teasing him. I guess I tried to give it a try when high school rolled round." You explain.

"You don't need to sound cool to be cool! You're already cool!" He says and you chuckle. "Oh yeah? How cool?" "Your so cool that when Zane tries to use his element, he uses you." "Haha!" "Your so cool that when Lloyd's ice cream starts melting, he goes to you to cool it up!" "Hahahaha!!"

"No wait! Your so cool! That when your around Cole, he has to use a coat around you." "Hahaha stop it!" "Wait!! One more! Your so cool that when Kai checked the weather, it said 50% chance of you." "Jaaayyyy!! Hahaha chill!" "Why chill when there's you!" "Okay!! I get it I'm cool! Haha."

"Hey, thanks for today, I had a ton of fun! Nya and I would never do stuff like this and I'm glad I get to try something new with someone else so thanks Marcy." Jay tells you. "No thank you! No ones ever done something like today for me and I loved it, so thank you." You said.

You then grab your camera and flip it over so the lens is facing you. "Let's keep this love in a photograph." You say and Jay smiles and you take a couple selfies of the two of you. You two laughed at the funny ones you took and cooed over the sweet ones you took.

"C'mon, let's get you home. Your dad wants you home by 5." Jay says getting up then helping you get up. You both arrive at the car and Jay opens the door for you but you don't get in. "Wait, we...haven't kissed yet!" You say and Jay chuckles and pecks you on your lips. "No! Like! Long kisses!" You say and Jay smiles and closes the door. "I guess we got a couple minutes to spare." He says and you lean against the car door and Jay kisses you. You were started to get used to kissing him that this time, you kissed back.

Jay was surprised that your lips were in sync with his but he liked it. He put his hands on your waist, pulling you closer and you put your arms around his neck. You both then let go to catch your breathes and you couldn't help but smile. "That's what I'm talking about." You say with a chuckle and Jay smiles.

"C'mon, I gotta get you home!" He says then let's go of you and opens your door again and you get in. "They were just pretending to be overprotective you know." You say and Jay gets in on the other side. "Well I'm not taking any chances." He says and starts the car then drives off.

The drive back home was the same as the drive going to the lake. You both jammed out to whatever was on the radio. You arrived home and felt a little sad that the date was over, but happy that you had a great time. Jay walked you to the door and you checked your purse for the keys then groaned when you realized you left them inside the house. You rang the doorbell and waited. "Have fun?" Jay asked you, leaning against the doorway. "Definitely." You say and he smiles. "Wanna do it again tomorrow? Another date?" You smile and nod.

You both then dreamily stared at each other and you didn't even notice your brother opening up the door. "Yo! Guys snap out of it!" Ty says but you sigh and continue to stare at Jay. "S-see you tomorrow?" He asks you dreamily and you sigh and nod. "Bye Marcy." He says then gives you a kiss. "Bye Jay." You say and watch him walk back to his car.

"Alright, did you have fun!?" Your brother asks you and you return to reality. "I'll tell you all inside." You say getting in the house. Tyler gasps, "You said you all instead of y'all!!! What the heck did he do to you?!?" He asks surprised and you chuckle and head for the living room.
