(With help from Craftfury)
"You can either leave earth, tell your dumb boss to give me back my family and never come back, or I can just as easily make this planet your grave!" Robert yelled.
"Hmmm, let me think. Topaz, should I be frightened by this lowly human?" Aquamarine asked, sarcastically.
Topaz remained silent. The fire in Robert's eyes grew brighter.
"Yeah, I didn't think so either," said Aquamarine.
Robert grinned. "Your funeral," he said as he swiftly swung his sword, creating a shockwave that struck Aquamarine. The blue gem is sent flying into a streetlight. Topaz tried to grab Robert, but he used her as a stepping stone to jump to Aquamarine. Robert charged his fist with electricity as he punched her to the ground. Aquamarine quickly got up and tried to force Robert into a building, but he kicked off the building and landed safely on the ground.
Aquamarine tried again, only this time, Robert slammed into the ground. When Robert got up he spit blood on the street and popped his neck, and sent his lightning to strike Aquamarine down. Topaz charged at Robert, and Robert slid under her feet. "You're my birthstone, and I'm sure you don't want to do Aquamarine's bidding, so consider yourself lucky." Robert said as he charged at Aquamarine. Topaz stood still and stared at her feet.
Robert quickly swiped his sword at Aquamarine until he finally made a successful strike on her chest, making her drop like a fly. Robert took this opportunity to put a foot on her, making sure she doesn't escape. "You're quite the unruly fighter. Are you sure you're not an Amethyst in disguise?" Aquamarine puffed, Robert kneeled down on her, increasing his weight. Aquamarine tried reaching for her wand, but Robert snatched it and snapped it in half.
"Wands are for wimps!" he said in a noticeably deeper voice than his own.
"That's enough," said Topaz, pushing Robert back.
"Listen, in case you haven't noticed-" Topaz cuts him off by summoning her weapon and slamming it down on Aquamarine's form, instantly poofing her.
"I've been wanting to do that for eons," said Topaz. Robert smiled, the dark aura surrounding him slowly disappearing. When Robert turned around, he saw Lapis, Peridot, and Amethyst standing before him, he realized he had made a big mistake.
"Are you alright?" Lapis asked.
"No, she isn't...She's dead." Said Robert, part exhausted, and somewhat guilty.
"I know I call you the Merciless Executioner, but I didn't mean for it to be taken that literally." Amethyst remarked.
"There was this dark aura surrounding you, I'm concerned about you, Robert." Lapis explained sternly. Robert seemed to stagger about as he walked. Lapis held up three fingers in front of Robert's face.
"How many fingers am I holding up?" she asked.
"F-four? Five?" Robert answered.
"What does it mean when they get it wrong?" Lapis asked Amethyst.
Amethyst put a hand on his back to see what was going through his head. Robert's thoughts were scrambled and he couldn't think straight, which was the only possible way Amethyst couldn't see his thought process.
Robert collapsed as he crossed the gate to exit Fun Land.
"Robert!" They all shouted as they rushed over to him.
"We have to get him Dr. Maheswaran," said Amethyst as she lifts him on top of her shoulders before they exit the amusement park.

(At Beach City Hospital)
"You're lucky you got your friend here when you did." Dr. Maheswaran stated. "Otherwise, he would be dead."
"Well, what do we do now?" Lapis asked, worried.
Dr. Maheswaran looked at her clipboard. "I recommend for your friend not do anything that puts physical strain on him. Wielding weapons, running, or any vigorous exercise for that matter are things he shouldn't do." she said.
"What about going to space?" asked Peridot. Dr. Maheswaran raised an eyebrow. "Definitely not," she stated simply. "He is going to have to stay like this for about a month, and if he has any more trouble walking after that, call me."
The room went silent for a moment, "Take him home, and if you spot him having any trouble breathing or standing up, call me." stated Dr. Maheswaran.
"Okay, thanks." Amethyst stated as Robert woke up and they helped him home.
That night, Robert heard from his sister again.
"Robert...My brother..."
"Can you hear me?"
"Please hurry!"
"Please...Save us...Robert..."
. . .
(The Next Morning)
Robert struggled standing up straight the next morning. When Robert finally stood up straight, he looked at the calendar, and realized what day it was: The day he was going to finally rescue his sister. When Robert tried to transition to a run cycle, immense pain shot through his leg, forcing him to limp around. Robert then remembered he needed his sword, on the off-chance somebody tried to attack, but it was missing from the closet without a note or an explanation. Just then, Steven put a hand on his back.
"Pearl took your sword last night, She told me it was because it was 'cursed'" Steven explained.
Robert rolled his eyes and quickly noticed Michael was gone, so Robert limped to the warp pad. Steven followed close behind.
When he got there, there was a red spaceship out front that reminded him of Eve from Wall-E. "Are we ready?" asked Robert.
"Yeah, but..." Michael stated, scratching the back of his head. Robert raised an eyebrow. "But what? Aren't you excited?" Robert asked.
"You...won't be coming." said Pearl. Robert looked torn. "W-Why? And why did you take my sword?" he asked.
"You're in too critical condition to even swing a sword, let alone go to space." Michael explained. "Lapis told us everything."
The whites in Robert's eyes turned pink as tears began to fall. "H-How?" he cried.
"Remember your old sword? Well...you weren't wielding the sword, it was wielding you." Pearl explained. Robert sat down, coming to this grim realization. That's why I felt this fire burn within me when I used it... He thought.
Robert then stood up and limped to the barn, looking for Lapis, who sat on a couch, with an empty seat open for him. "How are you feeling?" she asked as he plopped down next to him. "Sore, leg is in serious pain," Robert answered.
"I mean emotionally." she clarified. Robert thought for a moment.
"Heartbroken...Guilty...Pathetic..." Robert answered. Lapis wrapped her arms around him. "I'm sorry. But don't worry, it's not gonna be all bad though." she said. "How? Aren't you going with them?" Robert asked.
"No, I'm staying here with you!" she said assertively. "And you're staying here with me!"
Robert smiled and hugged Lapis back. "O-Okay..." said Robert, letting go. "I need to talk to Michael before he leaves."
Robert limped to his brother. "Please bring back our family safely." said Robert.
"Don't you worry 'bout a thing! I have weapons from Yellow Diamond, we'll be fine!" Michael answered.
"We will be back before your birthday, I promise" said Garnet, pulling him into a hug. Robert suddenly felt somewhat saddened, because his birthday was only in a few weeks, and unlike most kids, he dreaded his birthday. Worse yet, it was going to be his Sour Sixteen.
Robert walked to Michael again. "Don't you think you should take Connie with you? She could be useful..." Robert asked.
"I know what you're getting at, dude. And I won't because I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if she got hurt." said Michael.
"No, I mean since she's a swordfighter, she could help you a lot." Robert clarified.
"Listen to me, don't tell Steven, don't tell Dr. Maheswaran, and especially don't tell Connie, but I love her...a lot, She's pretty, smart, funny, and has a good heart." Michael explained. "She is to me like Lapis is to you."
Robert smiled. "All the more reason to take her with you, she's not a psychic like our sister, I actually had to ask on one of Craftfury's Ask or Dares if Lapis liked me." he explained. Michael looked at his gold brace, and pulled up a holographic call list, selected Connie's phone number, and called her via face-chat.
"Hey, Michael, What do you need?" she asked, Michael blushed.
"I-I was wondering...if you'd like to come with us to the human zoo. We're picking up my sister, Mom, and Dad." said Michael, blushing harder.
Connie smiled. "Yeah, I'd love to!" she said delightfully.
"Alright, see you at the barn," said Michael as he hung up. He then asked Garnet to pick her up.
"Sure, lover boy." she teased. Michael blushed even harder. "Aww, Mikey's got a crush!" said Steven with stars in his eyes.
"I think you'll find a partner on our trip, too, Steven." said Garnet, knowingly. Steven blushed a bit as he smiled.
"Alright, let's go." said Michael, walking in the red spacecraft.
"Don't worry, sis. We're coming!" he said to himself.
To be continued...
