Steven, Amethyst, Robert, and Michael were playing a SNES that Peridot got working, after much begging from Michael. After getting his fiftieth "GAME OVER" in Super Ghouls N Ghosts, even Steven was rather vexed, mainly because of how cheap(as in design, not price) the game was. Michael took the cartridge out before anybody could put it in worse condition than they found it. He opened the shoe box they got from the flea market, and put in Mega Man X. Steven passed the controller to Amethyst, who smiled profusely.

The split second that the Warning message popped up, Amethyst felt a stinging pain in her head, forcing her to bring her hands to her head.

"Um, Amethyst? Are you okay?" Steven asked.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine. I just have a bit of a headache," she said.

Her vision starts to get blurry before her world faded to darkness.

"Man. That was one massive headache," said Amethyst, rubbing her forehead as she gathered her bearings. Taking a good look around, she saw that the whole entire area was pink and the ground was covered in pink clouds.

"Am I in Rose's room?" she asked herself.

"Hello, Amethyst?"

Amethyst turned to the source of the voice only to Pink Diamond in her original form, except this time she was wearing Rose's dress.

"Rose?"

"I'm guessing you know the truth about my identity," said Pink Diamond.

"Yeah, but where am I?" the quartz asked.

"We're inside your mind, dear," she replied.

"Okay, but why am I here?" Amethyst asked.

Pink smiled. "Come closer."

Amethyst just shrugged and inched a bit closer to the pink gem.

Pink calmly placed her hands on the small gem's cheeks and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, causing Amethyst's eyes to widen.

Suddenly, Amethyst's gem started giving a bright, pink glow, which illuminated the area around them. After a few seconds, Pink pulled back and the glow faded.

"What was that?" Amethyst asked, star-struck.

"I unlocked your potential," said Pink, smiling.

"My potential?" Amethyst thought.

"You will find out soon. Ask Michael about Project Nora; he'll tell you everything," said Pink.

"Project Nora?" Amethyst asked.

"It's a secret project of mine. None of the other diamonds know about it, but Michael was lucky enough to find my peridot's old logs," she explained. "He should be able to explain everything."

Amethyst nodded. "Okay."

"Oh, and one more thing before you go," said Pink.

"What?" the quartz asked.

Pink smiled and placed a hand under the quartz's chin, "Don't hold grudges, it gets you nowhere."

'Okay. I promise," said Amethyst.

"And another thing?" Pink added.

"Yeah, what?" asked Amethyst.

Pink Diamond plants a gentle kiss on Amethyst's cheek, shocking the quartz.

"I love you, my little quartz," she said, smiling as everything was enveloped by a bright flash.

...

"AMETHYST!?!"

Amethyst woke up with a start.

"Are you alright? I got past the intro stage for you." Michael asked while waving his hand in front of her face. Amethyst gave an almost impatient look to Michael, then she smiled.

"Yeah, I'm fine. What happened?" she asked.

"I don't know. Out of nowhere, you just passed out," said Michael.

"And your gem was glowing pink," Steven added.

"Amethyst? Are you sure you're okay?" Peridot asked.

"I'm fine. I just need to get up," she said as she got back to her feet. However, when she tried to stretch her arms out, a purple fire erupted out of her hand and struck the ceiling, shocking everyone. Luckily, no damage was done to the house.

"Woah!" Robert exclaimed in his best Crash Bandicoot impression.

"Amethyst? How did you do that?" Peridot asked.

"I don't know, but that was awesome," said Amethyst, smiling.

"I'll say," said Robert.

"I gotta test out these new powers!" Amethyst said excitedly to herself. Robert, Michael, and Steven followed behind her.

They went to the Sky Arena and Amethyst asked the boys to help her set up targets, which they did, although they had no idea what she had in store. It wasn't hard, and none of them were heavy, and there weren't many to begin with. They were arranged in a circular pattern, surrounding Amethyst. She put her hands together and a torrent of flames shot from her hands and every target was left in ashes. Everyone was shocked at her newfound ability, Michael especially, because he now felt scared for his life because he thought that Robert was the only one who really forgives him, and he feared that if he ever caused conflict of any kind, even if it's as small as the last slice of pizza, then the combined effort of everyone will be the end of him, even if his brother decides to help him.

Just then, Lapis, Peridot, and a tanned chick with glasses warped on the spot. Michael knew Lapis and Peridot, but the other girl, he had no idea. She looked cute to him, and he was blushing. He reached for Steven's attention "Who's the babe?" he asked. "That's Connie Maheswaran, and she's not a babe!" he replied. I gotta get her number! he thought. Then he came to another realization: What if she was already taken? That would be a conflict and therefore, he would probably be killed. So he just sat and watched Amethyst burn every target in the area, thinking how long it's gonna be until he is gonna be burnt to a crisp like the targets.

She eventually ran out of targets to burn, and wondered what to do next. What immediately came to mind was to ask Michael about Project Nora, but this sting in the back of her mind told her that either he would lie about it, or just refuse to tell her, but at the very least she could ask. Michael got more petrified with fear the closer Amethyst got to him.

Surprisingly, she sounded rather calm and collective. "What's this deal about Project Nora?" she asked. Michael saw no reason to lie about it, although he couldn't remember much off the top of his head. "Well,from what I understand, according to Ivy's Logs, during Earth's colonization, Pink Diamond saw in one of the human village's a human mother playing with her child. After conversing with the human, she decided she wanted a child of her own. Although, she didn't want to kidnap a child nor could she reproduce the same way we do."

"So, how did she do it?" Amethyst asked.

"She and this 'Ivy' character took one Amethyst, you, that looked like it had a lot of potential, and put her DNA in it, along with adding some extra special powers in the mix. I know you're supposed to have a lot more than just your flame powers, and I think you had some sort of telepathy from the get-go, but I don't know what your extra abilities are nor do I know how you get them." he explained.

"So let me get this straight: I'm Pink Diamond's daughter?" Amethyst asked."Yeah, and technically that makes you Steven's sister...and if Robert considers him his other brother, by the transitive property, I'm Steven's brother, and by extension, I'm your brother as well." Michael explained.

"Okay, but how are we gonna tell the others? And how do I unlock those other powers?" the quartz asked.

"I think I can help with that," said Peridot, joining the conversation. "If I can pinpoint where Ivy made that log, I might be able to find the place where Amethyst's gem was made."

"Okay, but we still have to tell the others about this," said Amethyst.

"Okay, then. We'll tell them later," said Michael.

The three nodded in agreement.

Afterward, Michael made his way to Robert. "Hey, I know a part of the sacred song!" Michael bragged."You probably don't know it." Robert turned to his brother with a self-assured look. "I know four. Want me to teach you?" he asked. Michael looked pleased. Robert taught him the melodies, and Michael felt a strange power flow through him. Michael could now control ice.(like the Ice King from Adventure Time, only it doesn't eat at his sanity)and he could also make plants from his limbs (like Groot) or, alternatively, he could save plants within his body. Michael still had one more melody that Robert didn't know, which he told Robert.

The two felt a new power flow through them. They could now read and speak to one another via telepathy, although it could only work with other humans.

Lapis ran into Robert. "Is this your brother?" she asked, pointing to Michael. "It is." he responded. Michael once again feared for his life. Lapis politely introduced herself to Michael, and Michael did the same. "She seems nice," he said to Robert. Robert turned to Lapis. "Hey, do you want to go somewhere with me?" he asked. "Alright.where to?" she asked. "I guess we can let the comments decide that."
