Chapter 2:
I slammed the door of my locker shut with a bang, making Ana jump.
"Well someone's upset," Sam whispered as he walked past me in a low voice so only me, Ana and him could hear it. I swear I could've punched him it it wasn't for learning self-control in all these years.
He smirked, seeing me boring holes into his head with my glare "What? Cat got your tongue?"
"I still have my tongue in my mouth, thank you very much" I snapped back.
"Oh," He started "I would've thought you didn't, from the amount you speak of course."
"Well, now you know I do" I said "So for goodness' sake, shut up."
"I won't,"
"I'll make you" I blurted out without thinking. I mentally punched myself for not thinking before saying that.
"Pssh, I'd like to see you try, Cherry."
I hissed "I told you not to call me that."
"I know," He said, that annoying smirk plastered on his face "But I just love calling you that."
"Then what if I said" I started, tapping my chin with a finger "that I love calling you a 'jerk'?"
He waved his hand boringly "I've been called that many times. Honestly, it's gotten old."
I glared at him as he grinned.
He. Is. Truly. A. Jerk.
"I absolutely hate you" I muttered.
"I know," He said before he did something astonishing.
He grabbed my face roughly with his huge hands, his amber eyes penetrating my same amber ones. I clenched my fist at my side. His hot breath tickled on my nose.
With a sudden jerk, he threw me backwards, my back hitting the locker. I winced in pain as my back made contact with the metal locker. He placed his hands on either side of my head, that way he had me trapped.
He whispered, his voice husky "I hope you feel the wrath of hell."
With a movement I didn't even know I had in me, I shoved him off of me and straightened my pale orange top.
"I don't need to see what hell feels like, I already know"
I was about to walk off when a voice came from the intercom "Cadance Colins, please report to the principal's office."
I sighed and went on my way to the office.

I entered and closed the door behind me, quietly.
Mrs. Carter looked up. There was a sad glint in her usually bright green eyes that got me curious. She nodded towards a seat opposite hers, the desk between the two chairs.
I sat down, placing my hands on my lap, before asking "What is it, Principal?"
She pursued her lips, evidently being hesitant before saying "Are you being bullied, Cady?"
"Yes" I whispered, nervously fidgeting with my fingers "But how did you know?"
"A student reported seeing you getting beaten up in the hallway," She said "I got worried and decided to ask you privately."
"Oh" I murmured "Yeah, I am."
"I knew you'd be honest," She gave a faint watery smile "Mind if I asked you to tell me the names of the students that bullied you?"
I shook my head "No, not at all."
She produced a notebook and pen "Go on."
"Well..." I racked my brain, trying to find all the names of the kids that bullied. Would sure be fun to get them into trouble...
"Mark Berilyn, Linda Brown, Grace Wallers, Liam Cameron..." I continued listing the kids. She seemed to be listening very carefully, and gave me a look that said 'very good, now all of them can be punished for their behaviour.'
I had no problem in saying their names until I got to the last one. Possibly my biggest bully. I bit my lower lip and she looked at me "What's the matter?"
"The last person is a bit, um, complicated?"
"Oh, I can deal with them all right."
I was a bit taken aback. She really wants to make sure there's no one getting bullied and everyone's safe and happy in her school.
"Sam Carter" I breathed, his name rolling off my tongue like it was poison.
She started writing the name before her pen stopped mid-name and she looked up at me, blinking her eyes, she asked "What was the name again, sweetie?"
"Sam Carter"
She again her mouth to say something before closing it and muttering "Well, he's gonna be in some trouble."
What?
"Well" She drew in a long breath "That's all, isn't it?"
I nodded and she smiled "Well, good day to you, my dear."
I returned her smile "You too."

I cursed under my breath as my name got called on the speaker.
I closed the door of my locker, crumpling the piece of paper in my fist; another love letter from Grace. Why doesn't that piece of crap learn!?
I threw the paper in a waste paper basket that was at the end of the hallway while walking to the office. I may be an arrogant jerk but that doesn't mean I don't care about the environment and how much work the janitors have to do.
When I reached the familiar door, I was just about to burst in when Mom's voice rang in my head: "manners."
I clenched my jaw tightly before lightly hitting my knuckles against the door.
"Come in" the voice called from inside.
I opened the door and stepped inside, not slamming the door shut forcefully.
She was sitting on the desk, looking at me with a face that said 'You're in trouble.'
I muttered "What is it, Mom?"
She flicked her head towards the chair and I sat down on it, drumming my fingers on my knees impatiently.
I decided to break the torturing silence and said "What now?"
"So I heard you've been bullying some students?" She raised an elegant eyebrow.
Truth be told: "Yes, yes I have."
She crossed her arms and calmly asked "and why exactly?"
I shrugged; honestly, I don't even know why I bully students... especially Cherry.
"And you know where I heard this from?"
"Nope,"
"I heard this from Cady. She told me that you are her biggest bully." The corner of her lips quirked upwards.
That got me curious.
"What does Cherry have to do with you?" I voiced my thoughts.
"Cherry!?" She exclaimed "That's not her name!?"
With a smirk I said "But that's her nickname."
She groaned "Samuel Laurens Carter, how did I end up with you?"
I whispered "Dad: that's how."
She almost choked on her breath.

"HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU THAT THAT IS NOT THE PROPER WAY TO CHOP FRUITS!?"
"At least a gazillion times" I refrained from mumbling. First she told me to chop the fruits for fruit salad. And then she tells me(yet again) that I haven't chopped them properly. And yada yada yada.
"Mom, how can you expect her to cut simple fruits when she can't even solve an equation by herself?" Beatrice piped up and I wished I could chop her face with the knife I was holding.
"Actually, it's true the opposite way," I glared at her.
And to nobody's surprise, Mother's hand came in contact with my already bruised cheek.
"I will teach you a lesson after dinner, young lady" She growled and I was shocked. If she wanted to punish me, she'd do it right at the spot, not if we were in public and she decided that she needed to hit me for something.
My 'Mother' was a very, very ugly woman with blonde hair dyed pink at the tips and brown eyes. She wasn't a blonde either.
I nodded, and continued to cut the kiwi I was cutting.
Hey guys!
So another chapter done!
Yay or Nay?
So um- I said in the previous chapter that this one would be violent because of her parents. And I really didn't do anything special.
But now you know that Sam's mother is Judy! By the way, how did you guys like his point of view?
I had fun writing it.
And I just finished Black Beauty and I really should stop getting attached to characters. I had to quickly wipe my tears because I was reading in public when Ginger died.
And I have a new OTP: Black Beauty x Ginger
Well, that's it, I guess.
Bye!
