Levi's pov

I woke up at around 4:00 am. I rubbed my eyes and looked down. She was still sleeping. I softly blinked and gently got up. I laid my Wings of Freedom cloak under her head to support her as she slept. Last night suddenly hit me. I held my head. I look to my left, then right. I saw the scouts handing out bread. My stomach grumbled. I put on my ODM gear and landed on the ground.

"It's Levi!" one of the scouts exclaimed. 

"Tsk. Shut up already," I thought as I gave him a dirty look. One of the scouts threw me some bread. I then used my gear to go to the branch that y/n was on. I gently laid the bread next to her side and sat down. I watched in silence as I ate my bread. I had a huge head ache after a bit. I laid down and watched the stars slowly form into clouds. I started to close my eyes for a bit, but didn't sleep. I suddenly start to here movements.I lifted my head up and y/n started to sit up. She blinked slowly and didn't realize that I was laying down. She looked up as the sun shined in her face. She yawned then stretched. She looked over and saw the bread I gave her. She looked at it then grabbed it. She slowly ate it, then slowly turned at me. She stared at me then looked back at the sky. After she was done with her bread, She slowly put on her ODM gear. She sat back down.

"Your not going to say hello to me?" I questioned her. She jumped up.

"I thought you were asleep!" she quickly explained. I smirked.

"Thats fine, I just had a small head ache, thats all," I told her. She nodded and understood. She yawned once more. I stood up, grunting.

"How's your foot doing?" she asked me. I looked at it.

"It's seen better days..." I sighed. She giggled. I didn't want to make her feel awkward, so I didn't really talk. 

"You know, your really tough with your foot like that," she said being really impressed. I had my head to the sky. I tilted my head and moved my eyes in her direction.

"I've broken it before, so I dont really feel pain," I took a deep breath.

A tear fell down my face. I tried to hide it from her. I quickly wiped away the tear. 

"Levi's squad! Wake up! We have a mission for you!" commander Erwin shouted. She got up. 

"Lets head down there," she said as she jumped off. I stopped for a moment. What if the same thing happened to her? I shook that though out of my head. I jumped down and followed her to our next mission.
