Chapter 2
It is quite a funny sight. A quite good looking young man, walking in heels, with 4 books balanced on his head. He was walking without any problem, which was impressive for a guy, normally a girl is able to walk with such grace only after years of practice.
All good things don't last, so Isaac got ahead of himself and tripped on the pice if underwear lying around in Ali's room. Down he went with with the books and ended up twisting his ankle.
Ali and Payton, who until now were silently gawking at Isaac walking, were now rolling on the bed laughing heartily at Isaac's fall. Isaac got up on his elbows and cried out in pain. He sat upright and pulled his knees closer to check the damage.
Here moved the dreadful 5 inch heels and checked his ankle. The sounds of laughter were in the back of his mind as he gathered courage and held his foot in his hands and gave it one powerful twist, somewhat like the band aid effect. His foot was now in place.
His friend and sister were still laughing about it, he glared at them for a second . Seeing them like this melted away his anger and he himself started laughing at his stupidity. He got up to his full height towering over the bed with an evil smile.
Ali seemed to notice this immediately and sobered up."What's going on in that evil mind of yours?" She asked, suspiciously glancing at his hand hiding behind his back.
His smile only grew as he turned around and tore open the small packet in his hands. He tossed it on the ground and bolted out the door faster than light. The thing about Ali's room was that the people made it, built it the other way round by mistake, although they all knew it was another one of Isaac's pranks.
So he liked the room from outside by the latch and calmly made his way to the kitchen. He'll definitely get hell for it later on.
On cue two girly shrieks filled the silence of the house. He chuckled heartily at the that. He definitely will miss pranking those two for two weeks.
He started making cheese grilled sandwiches for everyone as compensation. Food always works it's way up to a girl's heart, not the other way round.
As he was now alone with his thoughts, he found himself thinking of Daniel, this seemed to happen a lot these past few days, who knew he'd find love through letters. No one writes letters nowadays, they said, email and IM is way easier, they said, what they don't know is letter writing is a fabulous art which is rapidly depleting because of technology. You cannot express feelings in the same way through computer screen as well as on paper, of course teens these days will never understand that.
He never wanted anything more than wanting to meet his friend for the first time. He smiled and blushed at his own self then started thinning of the tortures he had gone through since morning.
They chose a suitable blonde wig, which was completely opposite his natural brown hair, he didn't find the need to wear contacts, so his eyes would be green as ever. He got his eyebrows picked, quite harshly. He got his arms and legs shaved along with his armpits. They got a new wardrobe to fit in, with some fake breasts and fake eyelashes. He was slightly muscular so that won't be a problem.
They actually sat him down and taught him how to apply makeup. He seemed to look much like a girl due to his baby face when he clean shaved. They had a 15 minute long argument about it which, of course, Ali won in the end. In short, to go through with this, he was putting in a lot of hard work.
"St. Michael's all girls college for literature here I come." He mutters out loud taking a seat on the counter.
Not a moment later a very furious Payton and a fuming Alice come through the backyard, crazed look in their eyes which said that they were out for blood, of one man only, the moment they set eyes on that one man, they leapt for him.
Isaac had predicted their attack and swiftly moved out of their way, they ended up into a jumbled heap on the floor. He quickly picked up the tray of his famous sandwiches and held them up as truce, "Now, down boys, or girls, anyway I need to tell you something important"
They got up and glared at Isaac, "Sure, throw a stink bomb at us and then try to buy us through food, this is not going to work out mister." Says Payton.
A moaning sound from their right catches their attention as Ali bites into her second sandwich after gulping down the first.
"You were saying something Pay-Pay?" He says with a sly smirk that showed his victory.
Nostrils flared, eyes narrowed, fists clenched she simply stared at him, "How many times have I told you-"
"Not to call you that nickname? Way more than I can count."
"I don't like it, I don't like you. Ugh I hate you, I stink and I have a date in 2 hours!"
"You know you secretly like it and you know you love me besides, only a jerk would actually comment on it if you do go stinking on your date. Plus if he really is a jerk I have some extra ice cream in the fridge. Don't worry, I'll always be here." He says with truth in his voice, she can't help but believe him.
She could not even start to tell him the truth of his words, she did love him, just not in the way she wanted him to, he had told her that he didn't like girls.
Finding the need to change the subject she walked around the table to the plate of half full sandwiches whispering 'traitor' in Ali's ear not very discreetly, she grabbed one sandwich and asked curiously,"Whats so good about these?" She said out loud before taking a bite.
She chewed it for a while before her eyes widened and she scarfed down the rest within the next minute. She was speechless and Ali gave her a knowing smile while Isaac was leaning against the counter looking smug.
"Babe you just got-" Ali starts but is cut off by Isaac.
"No I want to say it!"
"I came up with it!"
"Did not."
"Did too."
"You just got Isaac-ified." They both screamed at the same time.
"I don't know whether I should be angry for you for trying to deafen me or be overwhelmed by your cuteness. Also the same time speaks thingy is quite freaky, work on that. I'm out now, date tonight." Saying this she walked straight out of the house. She couldn't keep it under control anymore.
They both were standing in the kitchen in that same position.
"Is it just me or has she been acting very weird lately?" Isaac thinks out loud.
"Beats me. You're talking to mom tonight, and you're leaving in two days, oh my god my big brother is growing up!" She continues talking to herself as she ascends the stairs to her room with the rest of the sandwiches.
"And they say I'm weird..." He mutters to himself before he starts to clean up the mess he made while making the sandwiches.
