The first time Reborn met Tsuna, he saw a clumsy and hopeless boy. Not to mention a coward. At that moment, Reborn had deemed him as a lost cause.

The only reason why he didn't just leave the boy was because of the orders that Nono himself had given and because his pride as the no. 1 hitman was on the line.

But when the boy saved the girl named Kyoko with the pure intention to help her, Reborn was intrigued. Tsuna continued to surprise Reborn when he saved Gokudera and Yamamoto causing them to become a part of his Family.

Then, when the Battle of the Ring came, Tsuna sparked Reborn's interest when he showed exceptional growth speed in battle. Especially when his Family's life is on the line.

When Tsuna came out victorious, Reborn can't help but feel proud for his student, not that he will ever admit it to him.

It doesn't stop there, Tsuna continued to grow as they went through the battle in the future against Byakuran, the Shimon Famiglia and their Earth Flames, Daemon Spade and even the Vindice themselves in the Representative Wars.

Reborn also can't hide his surprise when he knew about Tsuna gathering the other bosses and ex-enemies to discuss about a counter-strike against the Vindice and free the Arcobaleno from their curse.

Now, as Reborn watched his eighteen years old student carry himself in the party after the Inheritance Ceremony with ease, again, he felt a swell of pride rising inside his chest.

Although Tsuna still retain his kindness, naivity and innocence as well as his clumsiness from his younger days, he can also see the confidence and the determination that swirled within the brunet's eyes.

Reborn tipped his fedora down to hide his smirk. "Who knew that the boy that was known as a Dame become a mafia boss."
