XANTHOS

"I challenge you, Alpha Perino, for your position."

I heard gasps around me. A few whispers reached my ears like, "this has never happened in my life existence till today." Or "who was he?"

'Amazing! Let's kick his arse away from our and our love's life.' I heard Vlaxin holler in excitement; shocking me.

Draco stood there with an alarmed expression but soon turned into enthusiasm. "If that's what you wish for you, worthless dirt. So, be it. I'm going to enjoy killing you this way for sure."

"Spread," Draco commanded the crowd. They bowed their head and took light steps back. He built huge blue walls around us making a barrier between us and the outer crowd.

Vlaxin hit at my control over my body. I voluntarily slipped my control to him.

Though I wasn't provided with good sorcery power, I was surely given one hell of a strong soul. That's my demon, Vlaxin.

My back jerked a little before I felt black wings sprouting and landing beside me. Vlaxin roared ferociously and bared his elongated canines to Draco. My physique grew more muscular and tall because of my Demon being in control.

Draco smirked. "Are you going to rule alone without your Queen by your side?" Vlaxin growled. "A lonely, King without a Queen." Draco chuckled causing Vlaxin to almost lose his sanity but he stayed quiet.

"Speak something." Kathy tried ordering but Vlaxin didn't budge. I saw Kathy's eyes turning a light shade of green, indicating that she was going to use her compulsion on us. But, I knew that Vlaxin can't get into a person's compulsion capability. He's immune to it.

'Except for his love's compulsion power. He's not immune to that.' Luciano teased. He was giddy that our mate was alive.

'Luciano, we haven't yet fought the fucker and claimed our position.'

As soon as Luciano comprehended, he retracted back to my mind.

Vlaxin lifted his hand up and slapped Kathy harshly making Draco growl at him. I was sure Bella would have disagreed with this move of Vlaxin. But, all are equals in the world, right? Then why is it wrong when a boy slaps a girl but not when a girl slaps a boy?

Kathy winced and glowered at Vlaxin.

Draco tried tackling Vlaxin to the ground nevertheless he couldn't. He groaned in frustration and shifted into his silver furred wolf.

Vlaxin shook his head as the wolf stood there, watching us. "Pathetic, really pathetic." He mimicked what Draco said when we were at the verge of breaking down. "Can't stand a demon in your human self?" He tutted and smirked before delivering Draco's wolf flying in the opposite direction.

Draco's wolf growled and ran towards us. Opening his snout, he tried to sink his teeth inside our skin, but Vlaxin didn't let that happen.

The wolf grumbled in frustration and made a move again towards us. Vlaxin spread his wings widely and bared his long fangs. When Draco in his wolf form scratched our biceps with his claws, Vlaxin sank his fangs slowly and painfully inside the wolf's head. The wolf snarled and turned to its human self, into Draco.

He lifted his hands up together and formed a huge orb of fire before sending it to our direction. Vlaxin was quick to dodge it but got attacked by another fireball. He retracted back to my mind and let the control to me.

'Leonardo should kill him, not I.' Vlaxin muttered in my head.

'Good way to leave me alone when you're needed the most. But I agree with you.'

I shifted into my wolf form but didn't allow Luciano to take control.

Vlaxin was right. It was my battle to win. Leonardo's battle. Though they were a part of me, I was Leonardo and I was the one who took the oath to kill Draco.

Draco stood still and I noticed his eye colour changing to bright gold letting me know that he was planning for using a powerful spell on me. In my wolf form, I ran around him in a blur; not letting his eyes to focus completely on me. 

If he would focus on both me and his spell, then he'll surely get drowsy and then it'll be the right time for me to send him to hell. I made plans inside my head whilst focusing on Draco.

I saw him lose his footing as he tried taking a step first. I noticed his hand flying to his template, to squeeze it because of irritation.

It seemed he finally lost his energy while focusing on me. I inwardly dabbed because of my prediction about that fuckstar. He was just too high of himself and didn't understand the situation or the opponents move.

I halted running and leapt forward. Sinking my teeth inside his neck, tearing his flesh apart.

I quickly shifted and used my hands to tear his body limb by limb. His face held a look of horridness as I savagely separated each one of his body parts with a grin on my face.

In a challenge, the match should stop as soon as one of the opponent will become vulnerable. But, I had no idea of letting him go.

The noise of people cheering reached my ears making me grin more.

The barriers around us broke as I finally tore the last limb of his body. "Goodbye, brother." I grinned before getting up from my crouched position.

Blood covered me, but I didn't give a flying fuck about it. I was satisfied as I saw the bloodied flesh of Draco lying on the ground.

Unexpectedly, the smell of jasmine hit my nose. "Mate," I growled.

Bella ran towards me and gave me a bone-crushing though it wasn't really that bone-crushing.

"Xanthos." I didn't try to pull away from her, neither did she. Blood stuck on her face as she snuggled close to me.

"Bella." I breathed out a sigh of relief and brought my head close to her neck to inhale her scent. My other two souls jumped inside me as they could now hold their mate forever. I kissed her cheek as I pulled my head away from the crook of her neck. "We love you so much. Really so much." I held her face between my hands.

I was happy, excited, relieved after seeing Bella alive. I didn't really know what to tell her except for the only dominant emotion from me to her.

She replied back by crashing her lips on mine. I kissed her back gently, not wanting to hurt her in any way. I removed my lips away from her lips and trailed kisses down her neck. Warmingly kissing her mark, I pulled away.

"I love you too, Xanthos." She breathily whispered.

"I-I thought I lost you. Your heartbeats..." I trailed off as I couldn't say it out loud.

She shook her head and smiled gently. "I would never leave you alone." She touched my cheeks and stroked them tenderly. I leaned to her touch. If she was the old Bella, she would have run miles away from this violent bloody scene as soon as she must have seen it. She would have flinched as soon as someone would touch her. "I-I was saved by the cute yet old wizard, Minimo."

Minimo? Cute wizard?

I growled and pulled her in a hug. 

Someone loudly cleared their throat causing Bella to jump away from my arms. I turned my attention to the source from which the sound came from and saw the same dwarf wizard with a long white beard and white long curly hair.

"He's Minimo." Bella giggled and pointed at the dwarf man.

"I ain't Minimo. I'm Minzonico." He turned to look at me. "My King." He bowed.

"You've been calling me that since we have met each other, Why?" I looked down at him.

"My king, I have been living in Inferis before you were born too. I was one of the first-ever individuals to be formed in my kind. When I first met you in the forest, the day when you freed us all--" he pointed at Alpha Loisel and the pack. "--I realized you were none other than Leonardo Ruzzox."

I held Bella's hand and crouched down to reach the dwarf wizard's height. "Oh, now I get it. But, I have never seen you anywhere before."

"We elementals lived hiding from you when you ruled us. You were supporting the injustice but I guess, after your mate came in your life, everything changed along with your thinking." He said it in an old cracked voice.

Hurt pinched my heart as I thought back to the time when I used to rule Inferis. I was like Draco but now, I understood my mistake and all was because of my mate. My Bella.

"I felt jealous when my mate called you cute. But, I think you really do." I ruffled his hair. "Thank you, the king of wizards. Thank you."

He cackled before shrugging his shoulders. "It was my duty to follow Monzena and Moon Goddess orders."

My mother's order. That didn't surprise me though.

I got up from my crouched position and saw Bella staring at me with adoration and love.

I should be the one staring at her like that, right? Or was it not?

'So cute, so beautiful. My mate. Mine.' Luciano rambled on about the fantasies that he has for her.

Vlaxin just watched his mate through my eyes.

Alpha Loisel, along with the other pack members walked towards us. The entire crowd was silent once again.

Alpha Loisel gazed at me with happiness. "We don't know how much to thank you and your mate. Without you, we wouldn't have known what to do. Our entire pack will always be there for you."

"Dear," Luna Orchida held Bella's hands. "You're so strong. Stronger than any other supernatural creature. My daughter was killed by Draco. But you...I feel like you along with your mate have taken everyone's revenge by killing that dirt of a king."

Bella wiped Luna Orchida's tears. "Your daughter might have died but you have a daughter here."

Luna Orchida smiled gently.

"I feel so honoured, dear." She hugged Bella.

"King Xanthos?" I turned to look at Teddy and Mason. I waited for them to continue.  "Congratulations!" They squealed.

As soon as they squeaked loudly, the entire crowd yelled and howled.

"You have taken our miseries away. You have dragged that mutt away from us." A man walked out of the crowd. "I, a human, would like to request--"

I looked at Bella and smiled. "Your Queen is a human and I, a supernatural." I turned back to the crowd stood in front of me. Many creatures ran out of the forest to the castle as they must have felt their bond being cut from their old king. Vampire, werewolf, demons, wizards, witches, shapeshifters all gathered together in front of me.

My mate gasped. I glanced at where or more like at whom she was looking at. Lying a few feet away was Kathy with blood spewing out of her mouth.

"Let her go," Mason said to Bella. "Don't pity her. Recollect the things she has done to you. I'm sure you'll leave her topic after that." 

Bella nodded her head and looked at me. Clara and Onyx stood behind her while giving her reassuring squeezes in her hand. I pulled Bella closer to me and wrapped my arm around her waist.

We both held our stare before turning it to the crowd, to our kingdom.

With the head held high up, we stared at the people in front of us. They stared back at us with expectations filled in them.

I did the first thing that I always wanted to announce as soon as I become a king. The thing that I promised to my mate.

"Inferis," I yelled. "I, Alpha Xanthos along with my Queen Bella declare that you are free from the past and are tied to the future. All are equal. No longer there will be any mistreatment of any species or between humans and supernaturals. That'll be our motive till the end. Power of love has gained victory at the end. We. All. Are. Equal."

All cheered and hugged each other. The human man jumped and fist-bumped in the air. The human man yelled, "Hail the King and the Queen!"

I saw Onyx snapping a man's neck from my left and dropping him to the ground. He turned to look at me and whispered, "a so-called King of Betas."

I nodded and saw a group coming near us, wearing long robes. They bowed their heads as they neared me. "We were Draco's aligned assistance. We would now like to be yours..."

I chuckled bitterly and shook my head. "Why would I need those who helped that fucker. Well, I don't fucking need one, get out of my sight and prove me you're non-existent before I tear you all apart. Similar to your ex-king." I glared at them. I knew they were going to be harmless as each one of them didn't seem to have a dangerous soul in them.

I stared at Bella and leaned towards her. "As I promised, I'm going to pleasure you forever," I whispered deeply in her ear and pulled her for a kiss.

The sparks travelled throughout my body. My lips burned as our lips collided in a passionate kiss. In a kiss where love and blaze sang together.

I was hers and she was mine.

'Ours too!' Luciano and Vlaxin yelled in my head. 

She slightly pulled her head away and sighed my name out.

"Leonardo."
