You work at a diner-style restaurant in Manhattan, New York.
You enjoy your job, and you're always friendly to the customers.
Sometimes when cute guys would come in (unfortunately most of the time they were with their girlfriends), you would have a hard time holding back your smile as you took their orders.

One day, a group of five guys walked in and were seated by a hostess. They were sitting in the section of the restaurant where you served, so, whilst sighing at the thought of having to be around more undeniably hot and most likely taken dudes, you pocketed your notepad and pen and walked over to their table.
"Hi," you greeted them, "my name is (y/n), and I'll be your server today. Can I start you gents off with something to drink?"

"Yeah, can I have Pepsi?" The blonde requested.

"Absolutely." You scribbled 'Pepsi' onto your notepad.

The other boys ordered their drinks of choice, but when it came to the curly haired one to order, he seemed to be nervous. He didn't make much eye contact with you.
You wrote down all their orders, told them you'd be back soon, and went to the kitchen to fill up their glasses.

"OOOOOOoooooooOoooOOOooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" your coworker Holly goes teasingly in your ear.
((A/n ...I actually have a coworker named Holly haha! She's really sweet^^))

"What?" you ask as you scoop ice cubes into a glass.

She rolled her eyes. "That Latino lookin' guy with the cute smile!"

You glanced over the half counter and saw him talking to the other guys, grinning and laughing all the while. "Yeah," you shrugged, holding in your smile at how we was kinda cute, "what about him?"

"Ohhhh my gosh, girl! He is totally smitten with you!"

"Okay first of all, I don't even know him, so why would I care, second.." you glanced over the counter again, and he looked at you, blushed, then looked away. "..second, what would I even do about it? And that's if you're right about all this." You filled up another cup of soda.

"Just be nice to him. Let nature take it's course. Le amore shall bloom today!" Holly giggled and walked out from behind the half counter to take orders from one of her tables.

"Such a silly girl." You grabbed some straws and set them and the full glasses on a tray, holding it carefully with one hand under it while you walked out from behind the counter.
When you arrived at the boys' table, the curly haired Latino seemed to get nervous again.
You set down their drinks according to who ordered them, then took out your notepad and pen again. "Alright," you said. "Are you ready to order?"

"Yes," the guy with black hair and green eyes said, looking down at his menu to see what he was going to order again, "I'll have the triple bacon burger with extra bacon and cheese."

I give this guy a week to live, you thought to yourself.

The burly Asian looking guy ordered a salad. That was unexpected. He looked like he would've chosen the meatiest dish on the menu.

The emo kid ordered the hamburger and fries off of the kids' menu, which was weird because he looked to be about 15.

When it came to the Latino again, he nervously stuttered his order, stumbling over his words and getting his own tongue tied in knots.
You pretended like everything was normal, so as to not make him feel bad or foolish.

While you were leaning on the half counter, waiting for their food to be cooked, the curly haired boy walked up to you. You straightened up your posture and smiled. "What can I do ya for?"

He smiled too. "Where's your bathroom, beautiful?"

You blushed a little. "They're right over there, and to the right," you pointed.

"Thanks," he gave you a lopsided grin. "My name's Leo by the way. Leo Valdez."

You smiled back. "I'm (y/n) (l/n). Nice to meet you, Leo."

"I'd ask for your number, but I'm about to wet my pants, so-"

You giggled. "Yeah, I'll give it to you when you come back."

"Cool beans!" Leo yelled as he ran off to the men's room.
