(Okay, we have arrived to the tomb! I hope you like it~)

Things have been difficult. Betrayal, hardship, and almost getting blown up in a fiery blaze of inferno. We are finally making our way to the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master. Good thing Rex is waterproof. I look at the water around us. Never thought I would be in the Endless Sea. But then again, it is pretty and it is mysterious. "We're almost to the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master." Zane says. "Can't believe we're almost there, after all we've been through." Cole says. I sigh, "Yeah. Spent the night in a haunted temple, went to another realm and almost got blown up. I'd say we deserve this." I state. Cole chuckles and I smile from hearing that. (Yeah, big time. IT'S BEEN GRUELING. 😫)

"I can't believe I'm underwater." Kai says. Oh, right. His water phobia. "You? what about me? Just how thick is this glass?" Cole says as he knocks on the front window. "Thick. Trust me. It took a bit of reckless driving in order to put a dent in this thing." I answer. I hear Jay laugh and look at him. "I still can't believe you took Ronin's airship on a joy ride. Ha-Ha!" He laughs. (Yeah, and that she sprayed hot sauce in his eye under his patch.) I roll my eyes and shake my head. He is never gonna let that go. "We're heading to your location now. With Morro already ahead of you and able to foresee the traps protecting the tomb with the Sword of Sanctuary, it's going to be up to you to find the Realm Crystal before he does." Wu says as the screen shows him.

"Heh, Cole's a ghost, Kai can't swim, we have no magical sword or elemental powers and (Y/N) is being more emotional than usual that makes her incapable of using her powers. Heh-heh-heh, what could go wrong?" Jay says nervously. I would hit him for commenting on my emotional state, but I don't care right now. You are spared this time, Jay. "I may not know the three tests you're about to face, but I discovered a riddle that refers to it that may help:" Misako says as she walks up to the camera and unrolls a scroll. ("May"? I think will is what we are looking for.)

"A Spinjitzu Master can. A Spinjitzu Master can not. To move forward don't look ahead, to find his resting spot." She reads. "Huh. That's food for thought." Cole comments. "It's all we've got." I state. Jay gulps and l look at him as he looks up. "Speaking of food, we're about to be some!" He shouts. I gasp and feel my powers flare up to feel something big and hungry coming towards us. We all look back to see a leviathan. But it's not the one Zane and I free. Man, those things are huge. "We have to go faster. Much faster." Kai states. Cole takes the wheel and makes Rex go faster.

However, the leviathan hits a window and it cracks. Crap. "Why did the tomb have to be underwater?" Kai asks. "Less complaining." I tell him. "And more escaping!" I tell Cole. (Yes, Ma'am! 🫡) "Hold on!" He exclaims and we all hold on as he makes a turn but the leviathan is still after us. "Ugh! What kind of weapons is this thing equipped with?" Jay says, the alarms start blaring and I hold up a hand to my ear. I hate alarms. So loud! "We don't need weapons. Aim for that rock!" Zane orders. "On it." Cole drives Rex to a rock and we go under an arch. I look back and see the leviathan try and go through it, but it got stuck.

I breathe in relief while the guys cheer. "Thattaboy, Rex, thattaboy!" Jay thanks Rex. I smile and giggle, "Jay, Rex is a girl." I tell him. "Oh." He says. "Thattagirl." He corrects. I roll my eyes, but playfully this time. (Don't at me. I thought it would be funny. Then again, have ever heard of a vehicle being a dude? 🤨)

We soon enter a large cavern and Rex goes up and surfaces in an area very spacious. We made it. Rex opens up and we hop out of her and onto dry land. "If you wanna hide a tomb, this looks like a good place. We're here." Cole says. My eyes land on an old statue. It resembles Wu what with the long beard and straw hat, but this is not him. It can only be... "Aaargh!" I jump and look over at Jay, "There goes any hope Morro couldn't find this place." He says. I walk over to the group and look to see he has a torn up green piece of cloth. Yep. Morro's here. "Hey, stay positive. We're about to risk our lives going through traps we know nothing about. All we have to rely on is each other. Feel lucky we got this far." Kai states to try and calm Jay. Key word: Try.

"Oh, I'm sorry. You're right. What was I thinking? Hey! There goes any hope Morro couldn't find the tomb! We're not alone. Yay! Now we're gonna have to fight him again. Sure we got our tails handed to us last time, but you never know in the future, because ninja never quit!" Jay rants in an upbeat, but sarcastic tone. "Better?" He asks Kai. "Eh. I'll take it." I sigh heavily. Boys. "Look." Zane points and we all follow to see it is at the statue. "The First Spinjitzu Master. Creator of all Ninjago. Whoa." Cole says in amazement. But he forgot one more thing; Grandfather to Lloyd Garmadon.

"Destination reached. Auto return initiated." Wait, what? "Auto return?" We all look back to see Rex go underwater. "No, no, no. Rex! Bad!" Jay says as he and the guys run but it is too late. "Our Aeroblade weapons were in there." Zane says. Oh, right. Crap. (Dang it.) "Not to mention our only way back." Kai says. I look at the tunnel and become serious. "Kai, we can't go back." I state. They all look at me, "The First Master would not want one to look back. We have come this far and now we are gonna see it through. Morro may have a head start, but we are together." I say to them. (Yeah! ✊)

"No sword, no powers, no problem. We can do this." Kai says. "Sibling sharpens sibling." Cole says, then he and the guys stand with me and we all smile at each other. We then face the tunnel and stare at it, taking a deep breath and exhale. "No turning back." I state. We walk together and enter into the tomb. Here we go.

Third Person P.O.V.

The team soon open a door and enter a room. They stand in the center of the room and look around to find each door has a statue of a person holding a glowing cube and all posed differently while there is a different symbol above the doors. The one they enter slams shut and they all gasp as they look back. "This could be the first test." Cole says. "Well, we are in a room with..." (Y/N) quickly counts the doors. "16 doors. So, this test is clearly about choosing the right one, or we will be trapped for all eternity if we pick wrong." She says. "Yep. Definitely the first test." Cole states. (Mm-Hm.)

"Ooh, why did it have be tests? Why can't the tomb just be protected by dragons? We're good with dragons." Jay says in frustration. "So, pick a door. Question is, which one?" Kai asks as he and the team look at the doors. "Um, what was it Misako said?" Jay asks. "A Spinjitzu can. A Spinjitzu Master can not." Zane replies. "To move forward don't look ahead, to find his resting spot." (Y/N) finishes. They all look at the doors again to try and find something. "A Spinjitzu Master can. Can what?" Kai asks. "Can do Spinjitzu. That is obvious." (Y/N) sasses.

"Sixteen doors. For sixteen realms?" Jay questions. "Well, could be. But let me guess, pick the wrong door and we'll be in a realm of hurt." Cole says. "Oh, I wish we had the sword right about now." Jay groans. "We don't need the sword. We're Masters of Spinjitzu." (Y/N) states. (She has a point.) "We can figure this out. 'A Spinjitzu Master can.' Can." Kai says, his gaze looking at a certain symbol. "The symbol above this door, it's a tornado." Jay says as he looks at it. "This could be the one, right?" He asks. "You could he right." Kai adds. Jay walks up to the door then stands before it as he slowly reaches the knob.

However, (Y/N) has doubts and looks around at the statues holding the cubes. "But why the tiny statues?" She mutter. "Jay, wait!" Zane shouts. Jay pulls his hand back from the door with the tornado symbol above it. Zane looks at the door and the ones beside it as Pixal scans them, more precisely the statues. "Picture recognition analyzing. Pattern discovered." She says, combing the statues to reveal a motion. "Step away from that door, Jay." Zane says as he grabs Jay and pulls him away from the door. "Wh-What is it?" He asks.

"We're inside a zoetrope." Zane answers. "A zoe-what?" Kai asks. "A zoetrope. The engravings in rapid succession creates a moving image." Zane explains. "Uh, I don't get it." Cole says. But (Y/N) looks at the statues and starts to spin around then gasps as she stops. "Spinjitzu! That's the answer to finding the right door." She says. "'A Spinjitzu Master can.' Do Spinjitzu!" Kai exclaims in agreement. (It's so obvious! 😃) "Exactly." Zane states. The others step back as he performs Spinjitzu. As he spun, the statues start to blur into one and the movement of the cube draws into a certain symbol. "He's creating some sort of shape." Zane notes then stops as he points to a door. "That one. That's the door out." He states.

The door he points to is the symbol that resembles Yin and Yang. "I don't know, Zane. Isn't that the same door we came in? Are you sure?" Cole asks doubtfully. "Are you sure you want to doubt a nindroid?" Zane retorts. "No, this makes sense. No one would think to take the door they entered through, but the one thing the First Spinjitzu Master understood above all else is balance. And that symbol means balance." (Y/N) explains. "Well, let's open that door and find out." Kai says. The team all walk up to it and Jay grabs the handle. He looks back at Zane and (Y/N) and they nod their heads. He inhales deeply, faces the door and opens it.

They gasp as it is the next room with rectangular rock patterns on the wall and the ground being tile-like with a golden staff placed on a pedestal and behind it is a tunnel. "But... that wasn't here before. How can it be the way, if that's the way we came in?" Cole says in confusion. (Y/N) smirks, "For the path we seek is not always a straight one." She teases, patting Cole's shoulder as they enter the room. (Nope. It can be surprising. 😏) "Welcome to the Tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master." Kai comments. "Hey, hey! Nice one, Zane, who needs a Sword of Sanctuary when you've got a nindroid?" Jay says with positivity.

Nya's P.O.V.

Finally made it. We may not be able to help them, but we can be here for them once they make it out. However, I spot something then take out a telescope and look through it. Oh, no. "Then the tomb is right below here." I hear Sensei say. "That's not all that's here." I voice, sporting a boat with none other than Morro's posse. "Morro's friends must have paid a visit, but I don't see Ghoultar. The Ninja must have already taken care of-" I gasp and find Soul Archer looking at me. Crap! "They know we're here. Should I arm the cannons?" I rush to the controls.

"No. Getting into unnecessary battles only distracts us from preparing for the necessary ones still ahead. We wait. But just in case, how is your water training coming?" Sensei says. "Ugh! Who knows? I can move water, but it's not like I can control it. Whatever." I brush it off and walk off to keep an eye on the ghosts. What can I do about it? Water doesn't listen to me, it just does what it wants. Ugh! What can't I get it right?!? (You have to work with it. Not against it. 💧)

Third Person P.O.V.

The team walk on and look at the staff at the other end of the room. "The staff of the First Spinjitzu Master." Kai says as he walks to it. "Wait!" Cole grabs his arm and stops him. "This is the second test, remember? Zane, what do you think?" He says. Zane looks at the room and scans it. However, Pixal says nothing as she did not find anything. "Pixal can see no pattern. For this riddle room, I'm at a loss." He replies. "Think about it. The first test was 'A Spinjitzu Master can.' So this one's 'A Spinjitzu Master can not.' Though saying it out loud, I don't like the sound of that." Jay says.

(Y/N) thinks about the riddle then looks at the staff. "'Can not.'" She mutters. Kai walks to the staff, but steps on one plate that creeks loudly as it lowers down. "Uh oh!" Kai says and dart-like rocks shoot at them. (DUCK!) Zane is against the wall but manages to avoid getting pierced, Jay ducks to the ground and Kai lands back as one lands right in between his legs. (Y/N) only moves her head to avoid one. "Is everyone okay?" Cole asks, having ducked and covered his head. "Oh! That was a close one." Zane breathes out, stepping onto the ground. "Every step, uh, a trap." Jay says nervously.

"And to think it seemed too easy." (Y/N) comments as Kai stands up while still looking at the rock that almost got him. "How does one reach the staff, it it becomes more difficult with every step to get there?" Zane questions. "If I'm correct, this riddle room poses quite the conundrum." He concludes. "So if a Spinjitzu Master can't do it, how are we supposed to reach the staff?" Cole asks. "Watch and learn." Kai says confidently then performs Airjitzu to fly towards the staff. Right as he reaches it, he stops and lands on the rock pillar in front of the staff, but the wall in front of him loads dart rocks. "Huh? Uh-oh!" Kai flips back and lands on the ground to avoid them, but triggers another trap, this one being a log with spikes as it releases and swings down at him.

"No. Wait!" "Not that one!" Cole and Jay shout as Kai steps back, triggering a trap which shots fire from the ground. He jumps over it and leans back to avoid the log again. "Just stop!" "FREEZE!" Zane and (Y/N) shouts, but Kai runs at them and only stops to avoid getting hit with a giant spiked ball as it swings between him and the team. (Spiked balls. Classic.) Jay steps back, but triggers a trap. "Oh, no." He says. He and the team watch as tiles start to fall, making him, Cole, (Y/N) and Zane step back. However, a large round rock lands behind them which forces Jay and Zane to jump to the other side to join Kai.

A spiked ball swings again at Cole and (Y/N). Cole holds up his arms to protect himself while (Y/N) jumps to join onto the other side. "Wait. I'm a ghost. What am I worried about?" Cole says after the ball passed through him. But the ball hits the wall and water shoots out. "Cole, JUMP!" (Y/N) cries out. Cole gasps as he sees the water and jumps onto the other side right as the stream landed where he was. "That! That I can worry!" He exclaims. (Y/N) exhales in relief, "I really wish I would just know the shield is working." She groans, still unsure  if her shield for Cole works. (Girl, is STRESSED.)

They all take the moment of peace to look at the staff. "I can make it!" Kai states then runs as he triggers more traps, avoiding rock darts, falling icicles, fire balls and more tiles falling. The others move to avoid the traps and Kai catches himself as the tile he is one falls then hoists himself up onto a rock pillar. "KAI!" Zane cries out as Kai notices some poison gas and runs again. "No!" He runs to the other side of the room and almost gets the staff. "Kai, move!" (Y/N) shouts as rock darts appear and Kai jumps back from them. He lands on a tile and finds most of the floor gone. "WILL EVERYONE PLEASE STOP MOVING!!!" Jay yells.

Kai's P.O.V.

I can make it. I can make it! I inhale deeply then sigh, "I can make it. It's just a hop, skip, and a jump." I state. I do Airjitzu but I lose focus and fall on my back. Dang it! But then I hear something and sit up to find more floor disappearing and crawl back before I could fall with it. Okay, too close. (Way too close. 😰) "What else comes with a hop, skip, and a jump?" I hear Cole ask. "You trigger one more trap, I don't know how much more we can take." He says. But we can't give up. "The clue clearly said this is a test a Spinjitzu Master can not do. So WHY ARE WE NOT LISTENING TO THE CLUE?!?" Jay yells. (I don't know! 😤)

"Trust me, I can make it." I tell him. "YOU CAN'T!" I look at (Y/N) and-Oh, boy, she looks ticked. "Every step that's been made in this room has been nothing but a trap! Every time you even got close to the staff, you almost bit it! It feels like this room is mocking us for not quitting!" She rants. She pants after and I see... fear. Oh, man, she has been taking this hard.. "Wait. That's it!" Cole says, and we all look at him. "What if it's a trick? It's like (Y/N) says; every time we get close to the staff, something keeps us from getting it. What if the reason we can't do it is because we were never meant to reach the staff?" He says. What? But why is it there in the first place? (A distraction? 🤷‍♀️)

"What is the first rule of being a ninja?" He asks. "A ninja never quits." Zane answers. "Exactly, and that's why we can't do it. Because a ninja would never give up." Cole says. "What are you trying to say? We just quit? Are you insane?" I ask him. This is crazy. That staff is our ticket to the next room. At least... I think so. "I think that's the point, Kai." (Y/N) says. Cole looks down into the pit. Which is nothing but deep and dark and who knows what's down there. "This time, trust me." He says. Then jumps?!? "Cole!" We shout for him. But (Y/N) jumps next. "(Y/N)!" We cry out for her.

Come on, come on! "Woo-Hoo! Ha-Ha! Come on down, and enjoy the ride!" Cole shouts. "It's crazy!" (Y/N) laughs. She's laughing? (That's what surprises you? 🤨) What's down there? "They're alive!" Zane says then jumps down screaming with Jay joining him. I look back at the staff, but sigh. I trust my friends. I jump and scream as I fall.

Third Person P.O.V.

Kai lands on some ice which he slides down and goes down a spiral. "Seriously?" He says. He catches up to Zane and Jay as they all slide down. "Try to stay together." He tells them. But the team slide off a ramp and soar through the air as they land on different slides. "Stay together? I'm just trying to stay in one piece! Aaaah!" Jay shouts as he screams and flails his arms around. The guys scream as they slide and even do loopty-loops but (Y/N) laughs like she is having the time of her life. "Weeeee!" She cheers as she and the guys slide off the slides and enter tunnels.

Zane ends up sliding on his back and Kai ends up slowing down as he is upside-down in one a loop. "Oh, great." He complains then screams as he falls and lands on Zane. "Sorry." He apologizes to him. They hear screaming and look to find Cole sliding onext to them but ends up sliding off a small ramp and joins them as he lands on Kai. Jay slides behind him but ends up colliding into them and separate them. "Ha-Ha!" (Y/N) laughs as she spins on the ground while sliding. They come upon some bumps which leads to a drop and Kai quickly grabs the large icicle at the end. The others do too and Cole catches (Y/N) by her leg as she hangs upside-down, still giggling.

However, they could not keep their grip. "No. No!" Jay exclaims. Kai and Zane fall while Cole and Jay try to hold on, but end up falling as well. Cole loses his grip on (Y/N) as they continue their slide and lean back to avoid the icicles protruding from the ground and crossing together. After passing them, Kai opens his eyes and finds he had grab two of them. "Woo-Hoo! I love skiing!" He hears Jay cheer as he sees him use icicles as skis. He does the same and cheer as he skis on the ice easier.

"All right!" Cole says as he, Zane and (Y/N) slide ahead of them. Zane slides backwards while (Y/N) is still on her back with a wide smile and still laughing. Cole looks forward and screams as they go through an ice wall. He, Zane and (Y/N) go through it then Jay then Kai.

The guys all groan as the finally came to a stop against a snow back. "WHOA!" (Y/N) jumps into the air and lands on her feet. "WOOOO! That was great! Who's up for Round 2?" She says, the euphoria still running in her system while she pants. The guys all look at her in bafflement then (Y/N) calms down and coughs into her hand. "Uh, heh-heh. What a ride." She says shyly. (Okay, that whole sequence was clearly a reference to Ice Age.)

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

Okay, that was the most fun I have had in a while. "Is everyone okay?" Zane asks as he and the guys get up. We walk on and I look to see a lot of ice walls. "What did we get ourselves into?" Kai asks. I look around but then notice Jay as he runs back and climbs the snow bank. I follow him and we climb up some ice to get a better view of the room. "Heh, it's a maze! I'm great at mazes!" Jay says. I look at the beauty of the room. Ice pointing up with large icicles hang on the ceiling. It is truly a marvel this tomb is. (Like that hasn't been established already.)

"Well, let's find our way through this maze." I say, sliding down on the snow. I land on my feet and join the others along with Jay following. I hear Kai and look to see him looking at an ice wall. "If my reflection means anything, I'm starting to think we won't be breaking out of this maze any time at all." He says. What? "My reflection. Is that... me?" I look at Zane to see him looking at another ice wall. "I look older, but our attire is different. I don't believe these reflections reveal our inability to escape, but a mere glimpse of our future selves." He theorizes.

I roll my eyes and walk on, "Oh, please. It's misdirection. Like the doors and the staff, they are trying to fool us with these 'future glimpses' to keep us from-" I stop as I come upon my reflection. I look older, but not much. Like a few years older. My hair is held back in a low messy bun with a golden hairpin having black tassel hang off it. And an orange gemstone? (I wonder what those colors symbolize~?) My Gi is different too and I have a scar on my right cheek. "Weird." I comment. But then I see movement to my right and look, but no one is there. I look at the reflection but gasp as I see Cole. He's human again.

He looks at the reflection me and holds me in a side hug. His Gi is different too, his hair is longer and messier and he doesn't have sleeves revealing his muscular arms... strong biceps.... I slap myself! Get it together, woman! (Right! We'll think about them later.) I shake my head then open my eyes but gasp to see on reflection me's left is... Lloyd! He isn't under Morro's control anymore. His hair got longer, he looks more mature and his eyes are a more vibrant green. This is crazy! But then I see Kai and Zane appear next to Cole and they look different too. Kai's hair resembles more like fire and has a bandage on one of his eyebrows. Zane has a new hairpiece and he has gotten some upgrades. Jay and Nya join in on Lloyd's other side, Jay having freckles now and with curly, messy hair along with Nya's hair having grown out and put up in a high ponytail. And they are really close and happy together. I look back at reflection Cole and he has this... soft gaze as he looks at reflection me. I feel my face heat up as I move closer to him and he smiles softly. All this... This is a misdirection, right? A trick? Or... is it really showing me the future? (Maybe~ 😏)

"It's Morro! He's in the maze too!" I blink and look to see Morro break through an ice wall and Cole got pushed back from rumble. "All you ninja do is talk. Blah, blah, blah." Morro says, pointing the sword at Jay. I sneak up behind him. "I'll stop you from talk-Agh!" I put him in a chokehold before he could swing at Jay. "Says the one that talks too much." I tell him. "Gah!" But then flips me onto the ground. (Ow...) Jay runs off and Morro follows after him. "He's attacking an unarmed man!" I hear Jay yell.

I get up and run after them. I see Morro corner Jay but Zane pounces on him and Morro tries to get him off. I hurry over but stop when Jay broke off an icicle but more grow in its place. Huh. "Zane's here, but Cole, where are you?" Oh, right! I rush over, slide then sweep Morro's feet and made him fall on his front. "Guh!" He grunts. I reach for the sword, "Ah!" But he blows wind at me and I get blown back. "I'm coming!" The wind stops and I see Cole pushing Morro away. I get up and run over to Zane, "You okay, Z?" I ask him. He groans but takes my hand and stands up, "Functioning." He replies. (I'll take that as a yes!) I hear Cole scream and look in time at see him avoid the sword swung at him. It cuts more ice and Cole catches an icicle.

Cole runs at Morro but I get an idea as I look at the icicles, "When one is broken, more takes its place." I mutter. "What was that, (Y/N)?" I hear Zane ask. I look at him, "The icicles. When they are broken off, more sprout to take their place." I explain. "I see. One moment." He grabs an icicles and runs off, ramming into Morro to push him away from Jay. He engages in fighting him and I watch as they fight but Morro kicks him away and I see Kai while the others keep Morro busy. I run over to him and grab his shoulder, "The icicles. We trap Morro in them and that should buy us time." I tell him. He looks at the fight and nods his head.

The guys are blown back by Morro's wind and Kai grabs an icicles and enacts the plan. He swings first and pushes Morro back. "Come on! Catch me if you can!" He says. And predictably, Morro swings the sword at him. Kai back flips away as more icicles appear and trap Morro. He tries to get out but every icicle he breaks, more and more appear. I walk up to him and he stops, glaring at me as he pants. "Looks like you trapped yourself, 'Green Ninja.'" I mock him. More icicles appear and I back away as it traps him. "Noooo!" He cries out. My powers flare up as I feel his fear. I frown as I remember... his skeletal remains... he is remembering how he died. Trapped. (That's sad. 😢)

I shake my head and turn around to walk over to the guys. They stand up and we look back at Morro. "You can't trap me. I'll find you, Ninja! Just wait, you'll see!" He declares.

"Quick. How do we get out of here?" Jay says. We start walking away from Morro. "'To move forward don't look ahead, to his resting spot.'" I recite the last part of the riddle. Tomb? Resting spot... I stop and look down... to see light peaking out of the cracks in the ground. "That's it!" I exclaim. "What?" I hear Kai ask. I look at the guys. "Where are people usually put when they passed?" I ask them. "Uuuuuuhhh..." Jay says. I roll my eyes, "Guys, the maze is a misdirection. Because when the soul passes on, the body is put to rest..." I trail off and hold my hands out at the ground, "In the ground!" Cole exclaims. "Yes!" I confirm. "Don't look ahead, look below!" Jay exclaims. (Bingo!) "There's light. Everyone dig." Kai says. "I got this." I state. I stand in the center of the guys, adjust my stance and hold up my fist. "Hrrgh!" I punch down and hit the ground, it cracks then shatters as we all fall. (Whoa. 😳)

I land on my feet while the guys land on their backs or fronts. I huff a laugh and shake out my fist. "How... strong... are you?" I hear Jay groan out. I shrug a shoulder, "Does it matter?" I respond. "You shattered a floor of ice! YES! It matters!" He argues. I giggle quietly. (Oh, Jay. 🤭)

Third Person P.O.V.

The guys stand up and look to find themselves in a rocky area then walk down a staircase. A stream of water flows as it roars fill the silence. They run down the stairs, "What? What is it?" Jay asks. They all stop as they come up an area underneath a low hanging rock stalactite, surrounded by glowing substance and a rock resembling a tombstone. And lying before the tombstone is a skeleton corpse holding a glowing blue crystal and wearing a very worn out straw hat. "It's him. The First Spinjitzu Master." Kai whispers.

They all kneel down onto one knee and bow their heads in respect. (*Bows head in respect*) They then look at the object in the skeleton's hands. "The Realm Crystal." Zane says. They all share a look and nod their heads in silent agreement. (Y/N) moves forward as she carefully takes the crystal from the First Spinjitzu Master's hands. She holds it in both her hands and holds it up, her eyes blinking as she sees multiple colors surround the crystal. She lowers it to hold it at chest level as the guys stand beside her to look at the powerful relic. "How does it work?" Kai asks.

"How it works is you'll hand over the crystal, or say goodbye to your friend." The team look back to see Morro holding Lloyd, who is severely weakened from the ghost's possession. (Ah! 😨) "I'm sorry. I couldn't stop him." Lloyd apologizes, his voice a whisper. "So, what'll it be?" Morro demands. (Y/N)'s vision returns to normal as she glares at Morro and bare her teeth. "If we hand him the crystal, he'll usher the reign of his master, cursing Ninjago and every realm." Zane states. "But if we don't, when has he never made good on a threat? Look at Lloyd, he's too wake to protect himself." Cole counters. Jay groans in frustration, "Either option totally stinks." He looks at (Y/N), "What do you think, (Y/N)? What do we do?" He asks her.

However, (Y/N) focuses on Lloyd. Her vision changes once more to find his elemental aura faded from exhaustion. She grips the Realm Crystal tightly in her hands. "Looks like the decision is up to you, (Y/N). So choose." Morro tells her. (Y/N) narrows her eyes as she gives the Crystal to Kai and takes a step forward. "Morro, you need to learn to let go. But if you go through with your threat, I am only gonna say this once; if you end Lloyd right in front of me, I WILL DO SOMETHING I DO NOT WANT TO DO. BECAUSE IF I LOSE CONTROL," She chuckles darkly, "WELL, WE WOULDN'T WANT TO FIND OUT." She states, looking at Morro with a terrifying smile. The ghost steps back as for the first time since meeting her, he is afraid of her. (Yeah, me too. Hold me. 😱)

The guys share quick and worried looks, pulling her back and forming a huddle. As they try and come up with a plan.

Nya's P.O.V.

Okay, it's sunset and the ghosts have disappeared behind a rock. And now they're charging at us. An arrow was fired and it shrieks as it flies right at us. "Nya!" I grunt as I raise my arms and try to control the water. "If that arrow ghosts the Bounty, there won't be much to stand on." Thanks for the information, Sensei! The arrow gets closer but I wasn't gonna let it land! I summon the water to rise and it stops the arrow. I exhale and the wall of water drops. Wow, I did it! "Hurry, Misako, I said raise the sails." Sensei says.

"Not Misako, only Bansha!" Oh, no! Misako attacks Sensei. Got to find a way to break Misako free. Oh, I hope the others are doing better than us. I hear more shrieks and look to find more arrows. "Oh, come on!" (Stupid archer! 😡)

Third Person P.O.V.

Morro looks down at the team and becomes impatient. "Stop stalling! Give me the Realm Crystal, or else!" He demands. "STOP PUSHING AND WAIT!!!" (Y/N) snaps at him as she gives him a glare back. She huffs and joins back in the huddle. "Okay, does anyone have a plan? I'm kind of in a headspace that is not okay to be in right now." She says. "Ugh, what are we gonna do?" Kai says worriedly. Cole scoffs as he glares at Morro, "This guy really chaps of my hide. I swear, when this is all over..." Cole halts as he punches his fists together in anger.

But then bits of earth on the ground rises around his feet. (Y/N)'s eyes widen as she looks at the guys to see their elemental auras grown larger. "Our powers. Now that Morro's out of Lloyd's body, they're starting to come back." Kai says, lighting a fire in his hand. Jay holds up a hand as he generates lightning. (Y/N) frowns as she sees that their elemental auras are still small. Jays sighs as his powers dim, "Yeah, but like Lloyd, they're weak. And we're in no position to fight unless we want (Y/N) to unleash Unholy Heck." He says. "Leave that to me. Be ready." Kai says.

"Time's up! You leave me no choice." Morro states. "Wait! We'll give you the Realm Crystal." Kai tells him, using his powers to heat up the crystal as much as he can. "Here it comes!" (Y/N) shouts, and Kai tosses it. Morro cackles as he drops Lloyd onto the floor and catches the crystal, but howls in pain and lets go of it. (Hurts? Good. 😈) It falls off the ledge and into the stream. "The crystal! What have you done?!?" He shouts. Lloyd kicks the sword out of his hand but Morro blows wind at him.

Lloyd yells as he falls off the ledge and into the water. "LLOYD!" The team cry out. Lloyd surfaces but struggles to stay afloat. "Get the crystal!" (Y/N) exclaims then dives into the water.

At the Bounty, Soul Archer shoots more arrows and Nya blocks them with a large water wall. She grunts as she tries to keep it up. Wu assumes a stance as Bansha commands Misako to attack him. She runs at him and throws a punch, but Wu dodged it and grabs her arm as he pushes her back. "I can't keep this up!" Nya exclaim. "Bansha is controlling her, and I can't remember how to stop the spell." Wu says, countering Misako's attacks while trying not to hurt her. "How's this for a refresher?" Nya says, holding the wall with one hand as she shoots a stream of water from her other one. It splashes Misako and she pants as she is freed from Bansa's control. "What just happened?" She asks as Wu places a hand on her shoulder.

Bansha opens her eyes but grunts as the boat hits rocks and starts to sink. She and Soul Archer could only watch as their vessel sank, leaving them limited time as they fear the water. (Hah!)

Back with the Ninja, (Y/N) makes it to Lloyd and holds him up with one arm as she uses her other one to keep them afloat. Lloyd coughs as he gets the water out of his lungs. "I got you! I got you." (Y/N) says to him, and herself, relieved to have him back. She tries to swim to the land but the current is too strong. Kai and Cole run after them. "I can't get to them. I can't swim!" Kai says, hopping onto a pillar sticking out of the water and reaches for them. "You can't swim? I can't touch the water! I'm a ghost, remember? You at least had a reflection! What happens to me?" Cole rants. Kai misses (Y/N)'s hand then continues to run after them.

The Realm Crystal floats through the water while Jay and Zane deal with Morro. The ghost jumps down and as Jay slides for the sword, Morro grabs it first and lands then holds its blade at Jay. Zane summons his powers and shoots ice which coats the blade, making it too dull to cut. "Nice one, Zane." Jay cheers as he gets up. Zane jumps at Morro but Morro's spins and hit his head with the sword, Jay does a jump kick and Morro steep back to avoid it then swings the sword at him. Jay steps back to avoid it and Zane kicks the sword away. All the while ice breaks off the blade.

(Y/N) keeps herself and Lloyd afloat as she reaches for Kai's hand again. But they brush past each other and she and Lloyd continue along the current. "(Y/N), use your powers!" Kai exclaims. "I can't!" She cries, holding Lloyd close and keeping them both from drowning. Kai grunts then hardens his expression, "This is crazy. What am I doing?" He tells himself. He takes a deep breath then dives into the water. (He is crazy!)

Jay shoots lightning at Morro but he moves to the side and Zane gets electrocuted instead. (Oh! 😣) Zane falls on his knees as Morro runs off. "Oh, no." Jay hurries over to check on Zane then looks back. "(Y/N)'s got Lloyd, Kai's got (Y/N), but who's got Kai?" He asks, seeing Kai grab (Y/N) but struggles to stay afloat. "Oh, come on." Cole complains as he runs after them. "You have to grab them, Cole! Before they all go over!" Zane shouts as he stands up.

Cole arrives at a ledge where the water falls and looks down as the drop goes on forever with rock pillars sticking out of the darkness. He becomes worried but then look to see Kai reach out and takes a deep breath, "Water be darn, I'm not losing anyone!" He reaches his hand to Kai and a purple shield surrounds his hand as he grabs Kai's hand, protecting him from the water on it. He pulls them out of the water and onto solid ground. He looks to see the Realm Crystal go over. "No!" He exclaims as it falls.

However, it is blown up by wind and the others watch as Morro catches it. He holds it up and laughs. He goes to make his escape, "You're 'master' is only using you. Are you really claiming your destiny, or just doing another's dirty work?" Morro stops upon hearing (Y/N)'s words. He looks down at the Realm Crystal but shakes his head as he grunts and continues running.

(Y/N) narrows her eyes at where Morro went as she sits on her knees while Lloyd rests his head on her lap. "I'm sorry." He says weakly. (Y/N) looks down at him with a soft frown and gently pushes his hair out of his face, "Don't apologize. You did everything you could." She tells him softly. Lloyd sighs as he closes his eyes, getting his breath back as he finally has a moment to rest. (Finally. He's back. 💚)

Morro makes it outside and stop as he sees the boat sinking, Bansha and Soul Archer holding onto the top of the mast. He groans loudly, "Must I do everything?" He complains. "You have the Realm Crystal. Let's get out of here." Soul Archer says urgently. Morro holds up the crystal and a beam of light from the sun focuses on it and creates a pillar of light as a portal opens in the sky. Morro goes up the pillar as Soul Archer and Bansha follow, the portal closing after they enter it.

Nya looks through a telescope as Misako and Wu stand with her. "They took the Realm Crystal." Nya says in a defeated tone, lowering the telescope. "But what about the others?" Misako asks. Wu turns away and sighs as he closes his eyes, feeling great guilt and shame. Nya looks through the telescope again as she tries to find the others. She sees nothing but gasps as she sees Kai appear with him and (Y/N) supporting Lloyd. She gasps, "They made it!" She exclaims happily. Misako and Wu smile in relief at seeing them. (Woo-Hoo!)

Cole, Jay and Zane smile as they wave at them while Kai and (Y/N) lower Lloyd to sit. "My son. They've saved him!" Misako exclaims as she holds her hands to her heart. "Yes. Yes, they did." Wu states as he holds her close, the two relieved to have Lloyd back.

"You all sacrificed so much to save me." Lloyd says. "Heh, I promised I'd look after you, didn't I?" Kai responds with a smile. Lloyd smiles back but then frowns, "But now Ninjago's gonna be cursed." He says. "Yes, but we now have you." Zane replies. "And now our powers are back." Jay adds as he summons lightning in his hands. "As you get strong, so will we. And they haven't even seen us at full strength." Cole declares, shooting some earth into the air with Zane, Kai and Jay doing the same as they all collide and light up the sky. (Y/N) holds a hand up and waves it around as purple star dust appears in the sky, "Morro may have the crystal, but we have each other." She states, looking at Lloyd with a smile. He smiles back and they along with the guys look at the sky. "Watch out, Morro. You're finally going to understand why ninja never quit." (Y/N) decrees. (It. Is. ON.)
