"What are you all doing here?" Jessica asks in a shaky voice. Jessica and no idea they'd all be here. She was a little upset that they showed up unannounced. Dorthy was just as shocked.

"We came to surprise you!" Ann exclaims

"Aspen needs time with Evan, I had to fly her out here so we thought, why not come visit Jessica!" Sarah adds

"We have a whole fun weekend planned!"

They all walk in and Dorthy gives Jessica a nervous look. Jessica stood their blankly not saying a word.

"Oh" Jessica says following them to the Kitchen.

"Aren't you happy to see us?" Jane asks, examining Jessica's profile.

Jessica nods quickly "Of course I'm happy to see you. I'm just shocked."

"You three should have called when you landed!" Dorthy says in a joking way.

They all started talking to Jessica but she just sat there and nodded. She was in her own world now. She was trying to think about how she was going to tell Sarah and her sisters. She had no choice.

"Jessica?" Ann says trying to get Jessica's attention

"Huh? Yeah?" She says looking back at them.

Dorthy watched Jessica. She could tell she was nervous and anxious.

"We haven't heard from you in forever. We needed to come make sure you didn't forget about us."

"Don't worry, I didn't." She says

"We have a fun weekend planned. We are going to go to Times Square, party, dance, everything!" Jane says

"We were thinking of that bar by my old shop. We loved that place, Jessica! It will be fun to go back." Sarah adds

"Goodness I'm so excited!" Ann chuckles

"But where are your kids?" Jessica asks

"Lillian is with rick in Minnesota. Ann's troop is with Jimmy's parents for the weekend."

Jessica nods

"Mom, do you mind if we go out tonight? I mean you could come, but I don't think you'd want to."

Dorthy stared at Jessica hoping she'd decline the offer of going to the bar. She didn't want to do it for her. She could see that Jessica was stuck and wasn't able to tell them. She felt a bit pressured to go, her sisters flew all this way and had all these plans. But in no way could Jessica go to a bar, Pregnant.

"You know what, I don't think a bar is a good idea." Dorthy says suddenly

"Come on Mom, we are adults and responsible. Sarah and Jessica know their way around. It will be good for us to all get out." Ann says

"You three should go." Jessica says

"What? Jessica, it will be fun. You need this." Jane says putting her hand on Jessica's arm

She moves away "I don't need anything... I just can't go." She says sternly

Jane backs away and the room grows quite. Now, everyone was waiting for Jessica to explain herself. Why she became defensive suddenly.

"Is everything okay? I mean we can go somewhere else." Ann says soothingly

Jessica takes a deep breath. "I can't go because I'm pregnant." She says quickly

They stop and stare at Jessica. Their eyes go immediately to her belly, but there wasn't anything really there yet. They were speechless.  Jessica waited for them to say something.

"You're Pregnant?" Sarah says with wide eyes

Jessica sighs and nods her head. Dorthy stands back and watches. She wasn't happy with her daughter's reactions. They didn't say a word.

"Oh Jessica!" Sarah says hugging Jessica tightly

Jessica hugs her back trying to hold her tears.

"How far along?" Ann asks

"I'm only eighteen weeks." She mumbles

"All this time, you haven't told us? Jessica, we are your sisters." Jane says

"Ann Jane, come on.." Dorthy says sternly

"I'm sorry for not saying anything. It's just been a lot for me. I guess I wasn't ready." Jessica says looking to her sisters

"This is really great news... I know the circumstances aren't great, but a baby is always great." Sarah says. For some reason things got very tense very quickly.

"Sarah's right. Jessica needed time to process things before she said anything, you have to understand." Dorthy says

Jessica was getting irritated. She didn't want anyone to make a big deal about the news. She didn't expected anything grand nor did she want it. But her sisters were being rude.

"I'm sorry Ann and Jane for not making you my first priority. I really messed up, didn't I?" Jessica snaps

Ann and Jane were surprised to see their sister snap back the way she did. They widened their eyes.

"It's not that, Jessica. We are truly happy for you- I guess we are shocked."

"Well I'm shocked too. You know, I never wanted this. And I don't want you two being mad at me for not telling you either! I feel like crap for it, I'm sorry!" Jessica covers her face and begins to cry softly, she couldn't help herself.

Ann and Jane quickly realized that they weren't being fair. Jessica had been through a lot and deserved to do things at her own pace. They never meant to upset her. They soon rushed to her side and held her in their arms.

"I'm sorry, Jessica... we didn't mean to be like that.." Ann says hugging her

"Yeah, we are so happy for you. We didn't expect to find out you were pregnant. But this is great, really." Jane adds

Jessica breaks away and wipes her tears. "I'm scared... I don't think I can do this." She says

Then, Sarah and Dorthy quickly bud in. "But you can, Jessica! You'll be an amazing mother. And you have all of us to help you." Sarah says

"Yeah, we've all popped a baby out, we're basically pros." Ann chuckles

Jessica lightens up and chuckles as well. "I just need to keep telling myself everything will be okay." She says

"Because it will be."

Ann lifts up Jessica's oversized shirt to see the smallest bump. It caught Jessica by surprise.

"This isn't fair. I was the size of a planet, even at eighteen weeks. Jessica, your bump is so tiny!" Ann chuckles, putting her hand on it.

"You're so skinny, Jess! Look at that little baby!" Sarah smiles

"The baby is perfectly healthy." Dorthy has grabbing the ultrasound picture.

They all gaze at the picture and smile. "Ohh, how cute!" Jane giggles

"You know what. Fuck the whole bar idea. Sarah and I are going to go get all the junk food in the world and bring it here. We will watch movies and make Jessica fat!" Jane smiles

"I like that. I'm hungry." Ann agrees

Jessica smiles "I guess"

"Great!"

Everyone hugs Jessica again and they all kiss her. "My baby sister is having a baby." Ann squeals

When the weekend was over Jessica's sisters and Sarah had to get back home. That weekend they all stayed in and just relaxed. After spending lots of time together the four women were really able to boost Jessica's spirits. They also made her a lot more excited for the baby. Everyone was happy to see Jessica finally break out of this shell she had been in for months. Dorthy was glad they all came out to visit Jessica, because it's what she really needed. She needed reassurance and guidance. They gave that to her.
